Detailed Reviews
This was a lovely B&B, fabulous location slightly outside the town with a brilliant view over the mountains. Lovely, friendly staff and nothing was too much trouble. This included using their washing machine (twice) following a very wet, muddy walk on the Hollyford Track. Breakfast was good, lots of choice and good local honey. We will definitely stay there again.

We have spent two nights here and I have been bowled over by this place. We have a beautiful dual aspect corner room with a luxurious en-suite. The views are to die for. The bed is really comfy and there is lots of space.
We were lucky enough to be here on a beautiful sunny day yesterday and spent the afternoon by the lovely pool on fabulous sun loungers. Pool towels were provided. Felt very spoilt and lucky!
We got taxis to and from town every evening as the property is 5 minutes drive from the lake front but these were readily available so that was no problem.
Please note that there is no fridge in the room nor any tea and coffee making facilities but the latter are available in the guest lounge.
Overall a super stay. Highly recommended!

We stayed for two nights at this beautiful B&B, it is very stylish with lovely living areas and bedrooms. Each room has a small terrace looking out onto the gardens, our also overlooked the pool. Very good shower.
If you like a garden you will appreciate the planting and the rock pool its really very nice. The drive into Wanaka is about 5-10 mins.
Good breakfast provided, eggs cooked as you like them.
We would have been very happy to stay longer.

My new Wife and I spent the last 4 nights of our Honeymoon here and it was amazing. The new owner, Taeko, was extremely nice and accommodating as we weren't sure exactly how many nights we wanted to stay. She even cooked an amazing Japanese breakfast for one of the mornings! The other breakfasts were all really good too. The location is great, close to Wanaka and Albert Town whilst being in a country setting. The recommendations for restaurants were on point as well. The room itself was really nice and large, with a really good bed. And a heated pool! Thank you for the great stay.

Unexpectedly, our pre-arranged booking at Wanaka Haven ended up being our last night in NZ due to Covid-19. The Belgian owners were very kind and understanding and we had a restful evening there, having decided earlier in the day to go back home to Washington DC 6 days early. Wished we had more time to have taken advantage of the property, and perhaps taken a bike ride (they had bikes available). Breakfast there was delicious.

Less than a 10 minute drive to Wanaka, the B and B is located in a quiet country side setting with plenty of rabbits and hawks in the surrounding field. The rooms were clean, updated and had great views of distant mountains. The hosts were friendly and provided made to order bacon and egg breakfast and great suggestions for daily nearby activities. The pool provided relief after a day of hiking. Bikes were available at no charge but unfortunately we did not have time to use it.

We had 3 nights at Wanaka Haven and could have stayed a lot longer. The property is rural but within easy drive (10 minutes) of Wanaka.
The BandB is most luxurious. The bedrooms were extremely well quipped and the bathroom very well designed. The room had a nice view over the grounds and the swimming pool.
The breakfast was very good and individually cooked for each guest.
This Band B is very highly recommended.

Great location away from the crowds between Christmas and New Year. Comfortable room, lovely shared areas, pool and wines! Mountain bikes to explore local quiet paths without going onto roads. Great hosts :)

Wanaka Haven took us with storm. Beautiful house, beautiful interior decoration, lovely setting with snowcapped mountains all around. It is close enough to Wanaka town but still in a rural setting. They have a nice pool, which we didn’t get to use because of bad weather. Instead we had a cosy afternoon in front of the fire in the living room. The next day we could have our afternoon drink on their pleasant outside terrace. The Belgian couple Anne Mie and Steve are really nice hosts and it was interesting to hear their story about how the ended up in New Zealand. They have created a fabulous, very warm and homely place in the beautiful Wanaka region. Thank you for a fantastic stay! Next time we will stay longer.
