Frazer and Anne were great hosts, friendly and very helpful. They were always ready with advice about where to go and what to do, also where to eat. The place has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
The B&B is in very easy walking distance of Wanaka, with plenty of shops, places to eat and of course, Lake Wanaka and all it has to offer. A lovely base to stay. We stayed at the Springs for four nights and found plenty to do in the area.
Our room, was very comfortable and well equipped, with plenty of nice and useful touches( I found the nightlight in the bathroom very useful!) Toiletries were of good quality with bathrobes, slippers and pool and bath towels.
The balcony overlooked the garden and was a lovely place to sit. I used the hot tub most days. It’s situated in a sheltered part of the garden and a lovely place to relax
Breakfast was varied with lots of choices, all freshly cooked to order in front of you. Anne had a great range of local honeys. I managed to sample most of them! The breakfast definitely sets you up for the day.
Frazer and Anne make you feel so welcome and I’d definitely recommend a stay at Wanaka Springs

Even though we did not get great weather in Wanaka we really enjoyed our stay in the area and at Wanaka Springs. The host family was great and they make excellent breakfast each morning. The rooms are clean and decent sized and you have a back porch you can sit on outside and enjoy the view. The host family helped us with any planning and gave us additional ideas for places to visit. In general, while in NZ it would be wise to give yourself an extra day in the places you visit with several tours planned as this option came in handy for us when rain or wind cancelled any of our trips. We had trips cancelled several times and were able to use our flex day to reschedule the tour. Since there are lots of helicopter and plane options weather plays a key factor in your trip going or getting cancelled. Highly recommend this lodge as it is very nice and convenient to walk to everything in town.

What a lovely property! We had a great room with a balcony which had stunning views over lake Wanaka and the mountains for our evening glass of wine! The bed was enormous and comfortable and the bathroom was lovely. All the usual comforts were provided and the breakfasts were excellent and varied. I enjoyed the smoked salmon and scrabbled eggs and french toast, crispy bacon and maple syrup! There was access to a large fridge freezer, laundry facility and guest lounge. Only a short walk into Wanaka and the lake. Ample parking on site. Would definitely visit again.

Had a very nice two night stay in the "Buchanan's room" which was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom had a wonderful walk-in shower. There is a lovely peaceful communal lounge and large kitchen/dining space. Cameron the manager was great to deal with.

The property is well located - in a quiet street about 5mins walk from town.

The only negatives would be that the room was very hot and the only way we could cool it down was to have the deck door open which we were reluctant to do during the night. Also there was no microwave in the kitchen and a small fridge in our room would have been good in which to keep our wine rather than putting it in the communal fridge.

We did however enjoy our stay there and would return.

We only stayed one night but were very impressed with the accommodation, our room was clean ,comfortable and we enjoyed the hot tub in the garden. The town is a short walk away so we could leave the car and walk to the restaurant.
Breakfast was a real treat, cooked in front of us by our hosts who were friendly and welcoming.

We stayed at the Wanaka Springs for 2 nights - booked through an agent as part of a New Zealand fly/drive holiday. I don't see how it can be classed as a hotel with no dining/bar facilities (communal kitchen to cook your own food). Our room was small, the bed uncomfortable and the shower temperature lukewarm most of the time. It is well situated close to Wanaka but otherwise very disappointing

I must say, this was one of the nicest and well kept lodgings we have had in a long time. The furnishings were spectacular and the bathroom was immaculate. The owners are incredibly helpful and sweet. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The only down side was the intense heat during the day made our room (rob roy) borderline unbearable to sleep in. The fan provided minimal relief until the late night brought a cool breeze. Absent that, which was out of anyone’s control, we could not ask for a better spot in Wanaka.

Stayed two nights at Wanaka Springs which is an 8 room boutique hotel up the hill on Warren Street. There is a large shared kitchen and individual bins in the fridge to store your items. There is a lovely deck and grounds and a hot tub as well. It was a short walk to town where we found multiple food truck offerings as it seems restaurants get booked up here. Lovely stay!

This is a very comfortable place to stay and a great location for a good price. We had a nice deck off our room and it was an easy walk into town. There is a hot tub (though it needed cleaning) and a large communal kitchen with a fridge and cooktop which was perfect since we had an early start up Roy's Peak and needed place to store our food for the hike. The only negative - there is no staff on site and we only had a glimpse of someone who probably worked there. It feels more like an Airbnb. You need more towels? You have to call. Any questions about Wanaka etc, no one is there. Overall, it just felt a little strange.

This is one of the best places we stayed, we had a very warm welcome from Fraser and Anne, a lovely room with a balcony over looking the garden and stream, so tranquil. Very clean room crisp sheets and excellent toiletries. Even a bowl for the ice for my G&T!! Delicious breakfast and lots of information about where to eat and what to do. Thank you for really lovely stay.
