Edgewater lies right at the water’s edge of Lake Wanaka. It is the perfect destination for you to experience all that Central Otago’s seasons have to offer. Our long, hot summers fade slowly into beautiful autumn colours, before the clear mountain air promises snow and crisp winter days. As the snowfalls melt, spring returns with its lush, bright greens. At Edgewater we have genuine local knowledge that complements our inviting accommodation and enticing seasonal menu. We can unlock the very best Wanaka experiences, tailored for you. Edgewater is a four star Qualmark graded property situated on the edge of Lake Wanaka. Come and touch the seasons at Edgewater.

Had a great week at Edgewater Resort. The unit was very comfortable and well appointed and the grounds were beautifully kept. The bar and restaurant were excellent with great service and friendly staff!

Great location just out of town but an easy walk around the lake path to explore and grab brunch or supper. Lovely concierge, George, who was very helpful in planning our day and route on cycles and also recommending places to eat as the town was busy for a big event tomorrow.

I liked this place. Great views of the lake, ducks looking for snacks and spacious rooms. Our travel agent booked this place because we needed a washer after a week on the road. We only got one warm bath out of the water heater. We ate at the hotel that night. The food was good

Great hotel with the best view of Wanaka. The Taiwanese receptionist, Shelly helped us a lots. She makes us feel so welcome. She gave us great advisors of Wanaka. Great restaurant and hiking track. Thanks, Shelly and all the staffs.

We stayed at the one-bedroom apartment with lake view. When stepping into the apartment, we were surprised at the size of it. The lounge, kitchen and the bedroom were very spacious. We were more surprised that the apartment had a washing machine! The lake view was stunning!

Hi Sameera G, in terms of a view of the lake and mountains either room type is fine. Our one bedroom suites however are a lot more spacious than the studios - they have a separate bedroom, kitchen and dining area, washing machine/dryer in the bathroom. The suites are great for stays longer than one night when you may want to unpack and spread out. We have both room styles on the ground floor and first floor and you can let our staff know your preference when you make your reservation. Kind regards Mike Barton

I've never stayed there but I could see from the restaurant that some rooms overlook the late. Hope this helps.

Hi I’m sure you can get a lake view but you won’t get one from the bedroom, from our room we could see the lake and each room has its own little terrace and the grounds lead down to the lake
