Our favourite campsite due to the fabulous setting. The views of lake wanaka are beautiful. We swam in the lake every day. Facilities were fine and we like being able to choose our own spot. A little outside Wanaka but this was a plus in...More

We were positively surprised by the price of our cabin. It was definitely the cheapest place we stayed in in New Zealand. They are in the process of renovating the facilities and that is really needed but if we walked a little further we could...More

Only good thing about this place is that it's rite by the start line for motutapu. Booked a kitchenette cabin. Got a standard cabin with no notice. Luckily we brought blankets with us as there is no linen or kitchen in the standard cabin. Bunks...More

Our camper van site was on a direct lake view site with incredible views and had a great breeze. Our neighbors, who were mostly New Zealanders, were incredibly friendly and informative. The old a new show block offered clean facilities and hot showers.

Hi It is indeed safe to drive from Wanaka to Glendhu Bay, it is a sealed road. The shuttle bus actually goes from Wanaka to Treble Cone. You could try giving Treble Cone office a call. +64 3 4437443 thanks Vicky
