Our camper van site was on a direct lake view site with incredible views and had a great breeze. Our neighbors, who were mostly New Zealanders, were incredibly friendly and informative. The old a new show block offered clean facilities and hot showers.

It is indeed safe to drive from Wanaka to Glendhu Bay, it is a sealed road.
The shuttle bus actually goes from Wanaka to Treble Cone. You could try giving Treble Cone office a call. +64 3 4437443
