Stayed in a one bedroom motel which was very clean, well insulated and refreshingly modern. Outside our room there was a massive fenced lawn area for the kids to run around in and chromecast was attached to the TV so you could play the kids' favorites whilst you cooked dinner. Service was fantastic! After a long drive we were greeted by a cheerful face who provided all the information we needed and they even offered to post a lost toy for free after we had left. Loved their dedication to recycling and compost. Just a short walk under some beautiful trees to the lakefront. We will be staying the next time we are back in Wanaka.
It's the bees knees.. in my one night I froze my 2 bottles of cable-bay sea water (for my chilli bin), enjoyed a nice hot shower, washed all my dishes in the bbq area sink, charged all my devices and battery packs and had a wonderful night's sleep. The cleaners go about their duties and all staff give warm welcomes with their presents. Very, very comfortable here. A safe haven before continuing the south island tour
Amazing! Park is lovely, facilities are some of the best I have ever seen in a holiday park. Everyone very helpful, nice and quiet and showers / kitchen and everything else was wonderful. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone!
We stayed only one night while in transit but the camp lived up to the usual high standard of Top10 sites. The sites were quite closely spaced but the ground was level and facilities fine. The kitchen had fewer utensils than some other sites but we had plenty of our own
Well placed and well designed camp. Free Wi Fi much appreciated - this has been lacking in some Top 10 camps in past years. A compact camp, which we enjoyed, though it might be a problem for very large towed caravans. Just the right size for us and we felt very welcome.
