The hotel is clean and very well located. Food trucks and the main strip is literally a 2 minute walk. Would definitely recommend. While there were mountain views from the room, they weren't the best. However for the price the view are a bonus!
This place is just awesome- comes with great location, great view, comfortable beds/amenities and excellent size room with balcony. Great for Kids, tourists and families looking for a time out. Jodie and mark at reception were very friendly and informative. Thanks guys. Will visit again.
Nice staff but the rooms are very dated and not welcoming. Maybe Wanaka is a an expensive location, but I was disappointed in the room - felt like I had gone back to the 1970's - bright red furnishings, small TV (and no Foxtel), no Wi-Fi, grotty kitchen.
We stayed in the balcony view family unit for two nights. The queen bed is in the bedroom and the two single beds are in the main area - not configurable as advertised, but we had phoned to check before booking. The unit was *very* clean and spacious. Shower had plenty of hot water. Flowing soap at the hand basin and in the shower, but no other amenities. No curtains or blinds to cover the door and kitchen window, so early morning light was a bit of a problem. Milk provided at check in only. Free wifi in the form of 500GB Zenbu vouchers. Payment required at check in, which may not be to everyone's liking but it is a lot more efficient than everyone paying at checkout time. Bins were serviced in the morning but not the towels. A great location with some food trucks…
Our unit was a downstairs Queen Studio for our one night stay. On arrival we received a friendly and helpful welcome from the management staff. While spacious, with a modernised bathroom, the remainder of the unit was showing signs of age. The carpet was spotty and appeared to be in need of a thorough clean which made us wary of the overall cleanliness of the unit. While we love the Wanaka area we would be unlikely to return to this motel.
