We booked the whole lodge for a birthday celebration and really wished we'd all booked a second night!
Jo and Rusty were really fabulous hosts.
My 15 friends loved experiencing the lodge, which is simply stunning, and a perfect location for such gatherings. A local caterer cooked dinner for us and they loved the large kitchen too! We even splurged out and had a small local band come and play for us pre-dinner, which was fabulous.
The yurts are stylish, comfortable and toasty warm, despite the cold wintery outdoor temperatures. The large kitchen/dining/lounge area was perfect for us to hang for 24hours, with its roaring log-burner.
Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to gather a few friends for a celebration.

Cannot recommend Oasis Yurt Lodge enough! We are from Queenstown and booked a girls night away and then ended up staying for 2. Jo was so helpful prior to making a booking and answered my questions straight away, she even asked what time we would be arriving to have the hot tub ready for us (one of the main reasons we wanted to stay)! The Yurt was beautiful and very clean, plenty of room for the 3 of us that stayed there. The shared toilets and shower rooms were close by and there was enough lighting that you could see where you were going in the dark, the toilets and communal areas were ALWAYS clean too. They use all eco-friendly products and have so many kitchen utensils available you could cook up a storm! The Yurts were lovely and warm with a heater and even had a cosy little fire, the communal areas were warm too so on a snowy day like we had we were never cold (except when running over to the hot tub)! I have already recommended to others in Queenstown and would recommend to everyone, I will definitely stay again - an amazing experience! Thanks Jo :)

We stayed in one of the yuts for two night in January.
We both agreed this these two nights we had the best nights sleep of our 3 week holiday.
The accommodation is really clean with a modern feel inside. The kitchen and washing facilities are great. The location is about a 5min drive from Wanaka which was ideal. Parking in the town is really simple and a taxi cost $15 dollars if you prefer to drink in the evenings.
If I’m lucky enough to return I’ll defiantly stay again

What an amazing, multi-purpose facility. We went as a family post lock down get together with a mixture of adults and young children. We all loved staying in the Yurts and the shared kitchen, dining, bathrooms were very clean and had everything you needed. Jo & Rusty were awesome hosts. The fires were a lovely in the cold weather and added another dimension to the overall ambiance. Great place for the kids with heaps to do and very safe, well off the road with plenty to explore. They loved the teepee at night! Can't say enough about this place, every detail is thought of and it would be suitable for any gathering whether it be family, business, workshop, wedding it has it all!

We were a group of 20 (with 10 children ranging from 0 - 12) and the Oasis Yurts were perfect for our family holiday. The yurts were super comfortable, very roomy and kept cool in the hot weather with the black out curtains, fan and opening rooftop! With the log fires I imagien they would be super cozy in winter too!
The central lodge was a perfect size and the kitchen was fit out with everything we needed.
The extra spaces such as the teepee, large lawn complete with lawn games and hot tub just added to the fun!
The location was also perfect - just a few minutes drive from Wanaka town centre, the lavender farm, puzzle world and Hook Salmon Farm.
If your looking for a group get away you simply cannot do better than the Oasis Yurts!

We arrived on a Sunday afternoon here as a group of 3 for a girls getaway for the night. The place was beautiful, well thought out, and felt like a little break in paradise. (We spent the majority of our time in the hot tub with a glass of wine admiring the surroundings!) Besides it being more than we could have imagined, high end and so well thought out with everything we could possibly need, we had such a warm welcome from one of the hosts. They are attentive for anything at all you need yet you also are able to make you feel you have the place to yourself too. We woke up on Monday morning to a lot of unexpected snow and realised we were pretty stuck. Joe went above and beyond to help us, offering a hugely discounted stay for the next night and also offered eggs from her chickens for breakfast, and a ride to the supermarket if our car was unable to make it for supplies.
We couldn’t be more grateful for the hospitality here and there’s no doubt at some point we will return. I will be recommending a stay here to everyone.

Oasis Yurt Lodge is a dream getaway.
Rusty and Jo were amazing hosts making us feel immediately at home. The Yurt was warm and cosy with its own fire. It was so well insulated we had no problems with temperature or condensation even in the middle of winter.
The shared kitchen is the best stocked I have ever come across and the fire was lit morning and evening every day ready for us.
And the fire heated hot tub under the stars was an amazing end to our days.
We will be back :)

Our group spent the weekend at Oasis for a wānanga. Oasis was the perfect place to appreciate the beauty of our natural world and feel connected to it and each other. At the same time sheltered comfortably in the yurt accommodation. The yurts are gorgeous and have a beautiful vibe to them, each with their own fireplace for warmth and ambience. The lodge facility has everything you could possibly need and incredible acoustics for singing or playing music. The hosts are super friendly and helpful. Only a few minutes drive from the town of Wānaka, it's easy to get or visit anything you need. Oh, and the hot tub!!! Overall an incredible experience we'd recommend to anyone wanting to bring a group of people together in a stunning location.

My wife and I have just spent 2 nights staying here in a yurt. That, on it's own was really cool but Oasis also has excellent facilities for our use. There is a huge kitchen and dining room with seating for 24 people. The kitchen cupboards contain everything you could want to cook and serve a feast for a large group. There are great bathroom facilities and a wood heated outdoor hot tub.
The yurt we stayed in had everything we needed for a great nights sleep. I am writing this review on our last morning at the yurt watching the the vista as the sun is rising over nearby hills.
If you want somewhere really nice to stay at an affordable price with awesome hosts then this is the place in Wanaka. We had this unique place to our selves for two nights so come and stay here and experience this fantastic place.
The yurt we stayed in had everything we needed for a great nights sleep. I am writing this review on our last morning at the yurt watching the the vista as the sun is rising over nearby hills.

Just the most amazing venue. We had our wedding there and everything was perfect, the hosts were also so helpful and friendly throughout the whole experience couldn't recommend more. The location is perfect over looking a beautiful river while soaking in the hot tub.
