We enjoyed our one night stay in one of Debbie & Dave & Daisy's cottages. Despite being in a residential area it was very quiet overnight. The cottage was ABSOLUTELY SPOTLESS and perfect for lovers of red decor! The location was an easy approx 8 minute drive to the centre of town and ideal for our stopover about halfway between Ashburton and Queenstown. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck and meeting Daisy the miniature Dacshund, and the heat pump and electric blankets kept us cosy. Everything had been thought of and the kitchen was perfect. The property would be ideal for two groups travelling together as there were 2 x 2 brm cottages. Highly recommended.

Consider yourself lucky if you get to stay with Debbie & Dave at one of their two cottages. They have thought of everything. The kitchenette is so well-appointed with some starter items if you chose to cook yourself. The bathroom was squeaky clean. It was just so clean and functional. There is a laundry facility available (for free!) which is great when you're on a longer trip. They provided good recommendations for where to go for good views of Mt. Cook. It was like staying with a local friend!

we had booked based on trip adviser reviews and availability. We were simply taken back over the fantastic place. Never before have we stayed in such a well equipped guestroom and everything was clean and functional. lots of room with 2 bed rooms one with a queen bed and the other with 2 regular beds. highly recommend this place - te host are also very nice and leave you to your privacy.

Apologies to Debbie and Dave for this late review. We stayed on 5 & 6 April in their comfortable and spotless cottage. The kitchen was well fitted with good quality equipment and stocked with plenty of cooking utensils. The sitting room and bed rooms were attractive and well presented, and everything was spotless. The cottages are in an excellent location, close to the local supermarket and an easy drive to Mt Cook. I can honestly say I preferred staying in Twizel to the overcrowded and commercial Mt Cook village some 35K away. I have no hesitation in recommending Rosedale Cottages.

When we first stepped into the cottage, it was soo clean! Very well managed and the owners were very friendly and approachable as well. If you are new to the area, you can ask them for eateries recommendations as they give very good recommendations! If you are in Twizel, the cottages are not to be missed!
