As a return visitor of 40 stays at Sheraton Fiji Resort, since 1987, I could not believe how the ambience was gone. The young staff did not know what they were doing. I filled out review form during my stay, the reply letter was like that of a school child. Where the experienced staff were I don't know, but sadly, I will not return.

Our family of three (two adults and one thirteen year old girl) ended a beautiful week in Fiji with two nights at the Sheraton. We were pleasantly surprised by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and the welcoming nature of the people all over Fiji. The hotel is a beautiful sanctuary and our room (we had an ocean front larger guest room) was nicely appointed with a stunning view. Next time, we'll stay longer!

We have stayed at many hotels around the world and I would have to say, as a family, this has got to be one of our favourite hotels EVER! We had the most phenomenal 6 days at the Sheraton Villas. I cannot recommend it enough. The staff were the friendliest people we have EVER met! Everyone was so kind, friendly, helpful and accommodating. Even down to the super friendly security. Everyone smiled at us and said, “Bula”. The buffet breakfast was the best buffet we have ever experienced. The options were endless and having singers every day was just so special. It was my birthday there and the staff sung happy birthday to me. A moment I will never forget. The pools were amazing. There were activities galore (my favourite being the water aerobics)! The restaurants were great. We did the Farm to Fork cultural evening which I would highly recommend. Everything about this hotel is amazing. The only thing the would make it slightly more perfect would be better blinds in the bedrooms as it did get quite bright in the morning! But that was so minor. We cannot wait to come back!!! Went above and beyond to celebrate an event. However, extremely busy, the staff don’t seem as happy as they were pre covid. Sad to see some travellers treating the Sheraton staff like slaves. Highly recommend if you have young children, not for adults. Buffet breakfast was great. Lacking variety in restaurant options and cuisines. Mainly Asian .

We arrived early on Fiji Airways from Los Angeles, long before our check in time, and expected a lengthy wait to access our room. We were therefore very grateful and impressed when the check in girl went out of her way to get our room service brought forward and handed us our key card well before the advertised time. Breakfast next morning was everything that you could wish for and well organised. Similarly, the towel bure attendant was very pleasant and well organised. We noted that dinner in the main dining room is a series of themed buffets, and is fixed priced and not including drinks. It requires you to book in advance. This sort of regimentation at what should be a relaxed tropical resort is unappealing and we did not proceed further with this option. This left the beach front restaurant, which we assumed would be more relaxed, but on enquiring, we were told that we would be required to book and that there were three sittings. To dine in house, we booked. When we arrived at 6.00pm, we were subjected to extremely rude treatment by the hostess. We were told that our booking at 6.00 would expire at 6.30, that we were to sit in a designated seat in the corridor, that if we wanted to change to a seat in the restaurant it would be inconvenient but huffily would be done. This all in a restaurant that was 80% empty at that “sitting”. We dined in silence, very angry and will never go near that restaurant ever again. Before I had finished my wine, the waitress was wanting us to get our bill and vacate. My suggestion is not to dine in, but take the bulla bus to the marina for all evening meals.…

The hotel itself is fabulous, the entrance is wow, the service is wow, the facilities is wow.Sheraton Fiji is a proper 5 star experience. I have to not let the buffet breakfast pass. It has to be the best buffet breakfast we have had and we have travelled to locations like Maldives. To top it all off we were served like stars by the pool by Lanieta, she was so accomodating and made us feel like at home. She was real and kind. She made us want to stay at Sheraton for longer. Go to Sheraton and look out for Lanieta and Inia (the security guard) for a good time and feeling like a star.

WOW PERFECT TO CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS. We arrived very early Boxing Day morning after our overnight flight from Melbourne to a warm, friendly & very hospitable staff. Of course our room wasn’t ready so we had wait around till mid morning for our room but that’s ok we were given early check in which was lovely. We had full buffet breakfast every morning DELICIOUS HIGHLIGHT OF EVERY MORNING for our 2 adult boys haha. Definitely worth staying here. We had a self contained apartment which we never used always ate out with full size fridge used constantly with our drinks & water.

My wife and I arrived late evening for a conference at the Sheraton for the week. Lovely welcome by the team, to only get to our room unfortunately to find there two doubles rather than a Queen. No issues, so called the front desk to ask for a room change. I was initially told it was the conference organizers fault with little ownership taken by the Sheraton. I then spoke to the Duty Manager, who was friendly enough but vague a about a resolution for the week we are here. I decided to contact Yvo the GM for assistance and he and Walesi the Duty Manager this morning sorted for us with a lovely room, some champagne and a room with one bed. Lovely example of customer service and ownership in action. A relevant reminder for my own business. The Sheraton is lovely, the people warm and I would suggest based on what I have experienced the leadership is highly responsive and cares. We will be back and thank you to the team again. …

Excellent Garden view room with partial sea views. Services is always kind and welcoming. Room was clean and accommodated to our needs. Few issues with the bathroom sink not draining well and tap loose and hand towels not replaced, but ordered via Marriott app and was promptly delivered to the room. Buffet breakfast is good with a variety of foods from roti , curries and eggs and toast. Buffet dinner was ok, we missed out on Fijian night as the theme night shave been changed around. We didn't enjoy the Indian night as the food overall lack flavor and was too spicy with not much to offer in desserts. Overall pleasant stay with minor improvements. The service was truly amazing!
