I travel quite frequently and this hotel is by far one of the worst properties I have stayed. The hotel is tired and worn and in need of a full renovation. Room furniture, bed, etc., are in need of replacement. A negative value stay as...More
I booked 5 nights and after staying one night I decided to leave the next morning. I got a room that faced an unpleasant view of the area. It was very hot and impossible to sleep. There was also noise from the back of the...More
Paid 160 for one night. Basic Motel Budget Inn type of room.. One small squeeze packet of shampoo. No conditioner, no toothpaste. The pool does not look like it does in the photos. Must be an image of another hotel. Stay somewhere else. If you...More
Been here before. This hotel is a good option to the more trendy El Conquistador. Is clean and has a good location to explore nearby islands and El Yunque. But i would say it has a couple of flaws that need to be address. First,...More

I work in PR for restoration from Maria and I stayed here 1 night and I can tell you that I saw a lot of Mold. It may not be visible to the untrained eye...but I seen a lot. It is like this on most of the island.

The Fajardo has a parrot just outside the office that likes to start talking art 6 a.m. so I would ask for a room not too close to the office and restaurants but yes the main building is the best if you want too be close to everything. This past February we had a room on the pool side and we did not notice that it was noisy. This is because the pool close to the restaurants is more for adults - the pool for kids is down the hill and far enough away that you won't hear it. One of the things we liked about the upper pool is they don't play music through speakers. People can enjoy the natural sounds of birds and the breeze through the palm trees.
