This was the first time me and wife took a trip without the kids and this place was awesome. Erin, our host at the swell pool bar was the best. Not only did she recommend great resturants but her service was second to none. She made us feel at home from the second we arrived. The live music and scenery was the best. Will definitely be staying here for our future trips and hopefully Erin is still around. Siaki & Sunshine
The location of the 'Alohilani was absolutely stunning, perfect, and easy for beach access, shopping, and dining. I loved we were able to take advantage of the partnership with Beach Candy so we could have complimentary rentals of things like coolers and floats for the beach. There were a few too many kids in the pool and hot tub, and it would have been a better experience if there were adult-only hours for the hot tub after 7pm. It was hard to enjoy Champagne and a romantic experience with little kids jumping in and screaming. The front desk was very nice and accommodating, and went out of their way with recommendations from everything as off-resort breakfast and nail salons. I was never able to get the concierge on the phone, but there was a texting service that was helpful. The rooms were fantastic- clean, with comfy cozy bedding and lovely Japanese-style toilet/bidets. We stayed for three nights and it was a way better experience than our previous five days at airbnb's. Absolutely lovely. …
I would be remiss if I didn't start my review with a shout out to Alyssa and Renee. These two staff members truly went above and beyond to ensure we had an AMAZING experience during the week we spent at the Alohilani. There were pre-arrival, and mid-stay check-ins to ensure we were happy, comfortable, and feeling welcome. The Alohilani is an excellent place to stay in Waikiki if you are looking for a central and walkable location, an infinity pool overlooking the beach, excellent amenities such as daily equipment rentals included at absolutely no charge, pool-side cabana rentals, unlimited towels, and great happy hour drink specials by the pool. I especially appreciated the ABC convenience store and Momosan restaurant located in the lobby, and the lobby's aquarium was a very nice touch as well. The hotel gym was incredible and spotlessly clean with free weights, bench press, machine weights, and all the cardio equipment you could want (except for maybe a rowing machine). There's even a separate fitness studio with complimentary classes offered, as well as tennis courts. Our Diamond Head room (38th floor) view had an absolutely breathtaking view and was a great way to stay central in Waikiki while experiencing almost no city noise. Best part is we were just steps from the fantastic Waikiki beaches. I would 100% return here thanks to Alyssa, Renee, and staff. Thank you for making our trip so memorable!!…
Anuhea the young lady at the front desk was so amazing. She made our stay great just because of her hospitality. This is by far the best resort in wikiki. We plan to visit again. The atmosphere of the entire resort was such an amazing experience.
