They had a strike for one day a few months back, and they brought in a replacement group (task force) to step in. As of now, no one know exactly when the strike will start or how long. But I would anticipate some delays at check in, housekeeping, restaurant at hotel and other union positions. Good luck. Not ideal situation for your first visit to Hawaii.
