Another great stay!!! We were here for 5 nights. We are Diamond Hilton Honors members. We did use our points for the whole trip. Check-in was very efficient. Our room was very clean. This was the first hotel that we stayed in that had everyday cleaning service since the pandemic. The employees were very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed having the included beach chairs and umbrella for our day in the sun at Kaimana Beach where we also snorkeled and saw the state fish! It was very convenient to have a microwave and refrigerator in the room since most of the local bento plates are so huge!!! We also took The Bus, there was a stop right by the hotel. ($3.00) We took it to the Iolani Palace and Chinatown and to the Kaka'ako Farmers Market the next day. So convenient! Thank you HGI Waikiki Beach for a great vacation! Oh and the best part...you are right across the street from the International Marketplace!

For what you pay for this hotel, it really isn’t anything special. Wifi drops out constantly, the ‘continental’ breakfast is very limited. We paid full price for a room that was facing the construction zone next door - loud machinery starting from 6am every morning.

Rooms are clean and modern, beds fairly comfortable but again nothing special/ luxurious. Location good.

Overall just an average stay, probably wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

We were pleased with this hotel - service was good, room was clean, close to restaurants, shops and short walk to the beach. On our first night, we had an issue with late night noise from people in a connecting room - in the morning, we asked for a change of rooms; staff were very apologetic for the noise issue and moved us to a new room that same morning; the cafe on the ground level is convenient for "grab and go" items; there is a resort fee of almost $30 per night but that appears to be similar to hotels in that area so you need to be aware of that cost before you book. Concierge staff were helpful in answering our questions; bus stop and trolley stop are right outside the main door; overall, we would recommend this hotel as a good place to stay in Waikiki.

The best part of this hotel was the cleaning staff, they were friendly and always willing to be helpful and get whatever you need. Sadly the front desk staff was quite underwhelming. There was no Hawaiian ambience in the lobby sadly. With the construction right next-door starting at 7 AM and the very loud elevators double ring every time the doors open, I honestly couldn’t wait to get out of the very small room. A phone at the little desk would be helpful, the coffee maker was a nice touch as was the little fridge. The Internet went off and on all day every day for the 9 days I was there. I’ve been very fortunate to stay at Marriotts, Hyatts but even when I stayed at less expensive resorts all over the world I have never encountered such uncomfortable pool lounge chairs, the two bars under the chair would stab your neck area and back, one man stood up and he had the imprint of the bar across his back. They did have a pool bar serving drinks so that was an added bonus but not able to order food from there which was too bad. The general manager who was serving that day was very nice. The location was good being close to the international marketplace and just a 2 to 3 block walk to the beach.
For an extra 40-50.00 a night you can stay at a much more comfortable, quiet and friendlier hotel closer to beach.

I would not recommend this if you are bringing children. The pool was filthy. Our son always wears swim goggles and after one day, refused to go in the pool because it was very dirty. The extra charge of $25 a day for amenities is a joke. We also got taken on booking a few tours after agreeing to attend their “time share” (Hilton Grand Vacation) presentation to receive a discount on the tours. I checked the same tours with the same companies on line and found it would have been cheaper if we had book on our own. Real scam.

After 20 hours of traveling, maybe I was a little critical but I expected more. Things started off great with a bottle of water and a cookie for all 6 of us. Since I reserved a room for 6 people, I expected the room to be ready for 6 people. The sofa bed had no linens and there was only 1 tiny bottle of shampoo for all of us. After 3 calls to the front desk we finally got all of the sheets, pillows, blankets and shower products that we needed for a traveling family of 6.

Next morning, only 2 get the complimentary ‘continental’ breakfast. Doesn’t matter that my reservation was for my husband and I, and 4 of our kids. So, only the small selection of muffins and bread to make toast and bananas. All of the hot stuff around the perimeter is extra. The omelette bar, potatoes, bacon, etc is an extra charge. By the time all of us ate a hot breakfast My room cost me almost another $100. Add in another $40 for parking and my “bargain” $325 room ended up costing me $475. Should have gone with my 2nd choice that probably would have turned out less expensive.

One good note, the bed was super comfy!

The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly - everyone of them from the bellboy who just went out of his way to carry our heavy luggages and we had to wait til he came back the next day to give him his tip. Don’t upgrade to any views cause theres a huge construction going on right beside it. The rooms were super clean but really small. My room had a king bed so it filled the whole room with just a bed. It didn’t have a luggage rack so you have to open your luggages on the bed or on the carpet. There’s a balcony on all the rooms we got (3 rooms - 1 king, 1 double and 1 suite) they place a sticker to make sure no one comes in after its disinfected and you can really tell that the rooms were super clean. I was close to an exit door so I can hear it bang when it closes so stay away from corner rooms. The staff made a big difference. Overall it was ok. By the way, its easy access to the stores across the international market and a block and a half to the beach. Its also surrounded by ABC stores. Theres a shop downstairs and coffee shops and restaurants close by.

I stayed here for work and the original plan was to be one week, but I actually caught covid while working, so I isolated in my room for 5 days, and ended up staying at the hotel for 2 weeks.

The room and bathroom were very clean and I found no traces of mold in the bathroom. Upon check-in, they ask how often you want your room cleaned and they stick to it.

While my room had a balcony and I was on the 18th floor, I was on the backside and faced other buildings but still nice to have the patio door and balcony. I found the bed comfortable, but if you are working at the desk, having the large TV right above you didn't really work for me. The room had a small fridge, safe, and ironing board.

The hotel is on a busy street, so parking is done via valet which charges $50 a day to park. At the same time, there is a resort fee of $30 a day, so you will have $80 a day in charges and that is not even your room.

I ate at the hotel restaurant which was fine and also purchased a few things from the hotel store which was also good. All in all, I would come back here for work, but not for a vacation as I would probably want a better view.

The hotel is well located, very close to the beach, in front of a mall and shops,
the cleaning service works perfectly, every day they left the room clean.

The only problem was that one day before my check out they left a letter saying that there was a water cut, when I wrote to the number that was in the letter I was attended by a lady named Andrea, who was super rude and never responded with manners, And her suggestion was that I take a bath earlier before the water was turned off, even though I had explained that I had 10 hours ahead of flights and airports.

Many guests when I made the check in, I asked if there was the possibility of making late check out and the people at the counter said a resounding "NO", for this reason I wanted to enjoy my stay until the last minute.

After this inconvenience, Mrs. Nani wrote to me, who was very kind and gentle, the opposite of Andrea.

Parking is $ 45 per day, in addition to the tip that you have to leave to the staff, and you do not have any kind of benefit for being hilton honors which does not make sense, And if you do not want to pay the $ 45 plus daily tips for parking In this area it is torture, the parking lots are always full.

We booked a king bed city view room originally but was offered the email standby upgrade option. We selected the king bed partial ocean views room and ended up with an awesome room. Room 1937 to be exact. We were on the 19th floor, room is small in terms of where to put large 4 suitcases. But makes up for it by having a large wrap around balcony. It was a corner room with floor to ceiling windows. Just laying in bed and looking out was breathtaking. Housekeeping and staff were friendly. Pool is small but has a neat beach towel dispenser that you just swipe your room key to get. Location is perfect. It’s literally next to the mall, you can see saks fifth avenue from the pool. An ABC store is across the street as well. Beach is just a block away. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. No complaints about this hotel, I would definitely book again.
