My wife and I check in on 5/9 to 5/15. We have stay at Coconut before back on February 2021. So we have come to expect first class stay and customer services. Our first shout out goes to Chenoa! She was very welcoming, professional and even offer some complimentary discounts. My second shout out goes to Robert Jr. who works the Valet. He always smiling, brings the car out fast and take great pride in his job. Even towards the end of our stay, we were still wow by Alfredo. Who was quick, responsive and accommodating with fixing a pricing error on our bills. I would definitely recommend this hotel to all my friends and family.
We attended a wedding at Kailua Ranch and had to make a last minute reservation after our previously booked lodging were canceled by the owners. We were wary but the reviews seemed good. My expectations were pleasantly exceeded. From the welcoming check in to the excellent room cleaning/tiding service to the comfortable beds, our stay was delightful. Waking up to a breathtaking view was a clincher as my pictures portray. Walking distance from transportation, highly recommend trolleys to get a good understanding of the island, to a bustling shopping experience along with beach access. We literally walked everywhere, getting our steps in, enjoying the safety of the area, then retreating to our hideaway. Will definitely recommend.
I originally booked a hotel that did not have a 24/7 front desk only to realize it probably wasn't a good idea since I had a very early morning flight with no place to wait for my ride (60 year old solo female traveler). The Coconut Waikiki Hotel is a cute hotel that is walking distance to many dining places, tour activity pick up locations, and the beach. The room was updated, clean and had a mini kitchen that included a small microwave, mini fridge, plates, silverware and a sink. The room overlooked the canal. It was a little noisy from the traffic but not bad at night. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe at the hotel and walking around the area. Would definitely stay there again if on Oahu.
We stayed at the Executive Suite on the 2nd floor, facing Lewers Street. I thought maybe it would be noisy but it was quiet and peaceful. The location of the hotel is great, it's a 10-15 min easy walk to all the main spots in Waikiki, with the advantage of being further away from all the crowds, allowing you to have a nice quiet time to rest. Thanks to the microwave and fridge in the room, you can easily store and warm any food which you can enjoy on the lanai, desk or in front of the TV. There are plenty of food options nearby. Everything in the room was clean and functioning. The only thing that was off for me were the pillows. They were all absurdly high so I just slept without them, however, I didn't ask the staff for different pillows so I don't know if they could have given me other options.…
Room was as described, beds were comfortable, and keeping in mind it is a very reasonably priced hotel it was just what we expected. Walls and bathroom showing signs of age of hotel but it was still very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. After check out at noon, they let us keep our bags in a holding area until we left for the airport around 6pm. After terrific shopping down by the water for a few hrs and lunch we still had a couple hrs before our Uber so we found a comfortable, cozy spot on the patio at the other end from the pool to relax. Very enjoyable stay, would return.
