Located just one block from world famous Waikiki Beach, the Waikiki Banyan is a perfect spot for your vacation, be it energetic or relaxing. The complex is made up of over 870 privately owned condos. It can be lively, bustling with holidaymakers going to the beach, playing on the tennis court, which doubles as a basketball court, swimming in the large freshwasher pool, soaking in one of the two Jacuzzis or the sauna, or watching the children having fun in the playground.
Darmic Waikiki Banyan unserviced condos are one bedroom, one bathroom with a fully equipped kitchen and lanai (balcony). Each sleeps up to 4 people using existing bedding, a 5th person can be accommodated at an extra charge (see additional rates on the Search page). The condos come with a fully stocked kitchen including flatware, crockery, utensils, pots, pans. You are not disturbed by a daily housekeeper – cleaning and laundry is done by the housekeepers on your departure.

We had a great week in Honolulu staying at Darmic Waikiki Banyan in 2905 in tower 1. From booking through to arrival at the apartments, the process was easy and communication with the team was seamless. Jamie, Sue and Kara were responsive to all emails and questions we had before and during our stay, ensuring we had a relaxing holiday. Our apartment was on the 29th floor, with great views out to Diamond Head and to the ocean. The 1 bedroom apartment was large, with a very comfortable king sized bed. The apartment was clean, tidy, and the kitchen well equipped, which was very helpful on the times we wanted to eat in. We used the pool on the 6th floor many times. There were plenty of lounge chairs available, meaning we never struggled to get a spot and we weren’t squashed in…

This is a suitable mid-range option but the property is showing its age for sure. The elevators are always too busy/slow and take some getting used to. My room had a window insert A/C unit which constantly was turning on and off (very noisy, day and night) and leaked a lot of water onto the smallish balcony, requiring a lot of mopping up. The location was very good, being only a short three minute walk to the beach. For a little more money, I would choose a nicer hotel on the beach with more services but I can see this as a great option if you have a small family and need more space and in-room dining options.

We had room 705 tower 2, and as always it’s a clean comfortable room, which suited our family. We love the free parking, and room is cool as it’s on a lower floor. Staff were lovely, and very easy to book

Wonderful place to stay. I stayed on the 21st floor In 2102 with the ocean view. I arrived at the foyer after long flight where I met Kara ( Darmic guest manager). Very pleasant happy friendly young lady who showed me up to my Condo. She explained what services and facilities were available and where everything could be found before leaving me to relax. Condo's are well furnished and have a kitchenette which helped save abit of money instead of eating out all the time. Easy walk to the beach a block away and plenty of ABC's near by for supplies. Pool and bbq facilities were great and located on 6th floor away from the public. Definitely will be staying again in the future and highly recommend them

Located 1 block back from beach, easy access by foot to Waikiki shopping area, bars, restaurants and Roman Catholic church. Safe area and ABC shops nearby. Friendly atmosphere prevails. Accomodation included kitchenette, lounge, comfortable beds and cooking facilities. Access to Tennis courts and swimming pool was included in package and BBQ's available at $2 per hour. Darmic management were easy to communicate with.
