A fabulous inn only a half mile from the entrance to RMNP on Hwy 34. With the new timed entry into the park this made is easy access to get into the park during the times when you do not need a time specific park entry pass. You will still need your national park permit. The Inn sits up high on the bluff so you have amazing views. Some of the units have outdoor hot tubs. We opted for an indoor jacuzzi and a full kitchen and living room and separate bedroom. The bed was extremely comfortable with good linens. It was a huge King bed and the bedroom is large - the entire unit is spacious and the windows with view from all sides is amazing. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes etc that you may need for cooking. The balcony is large with an unobstructed view that stretches for miles. It is gorgeous to wake up and have your morning coffee or tea and look out over the mountains and forest area. The office has extra supplies available should you need any extra paper towels, kleenex, towels etc, for you to just grab during your stay. There is also a large assortment of DVD's for you as well if you prefer. The unit we stayed in was immaculate. This was our second time there. We stayed several years ago. During our stay we saw elk, a few times right at the resort and deer. It was amazing. Cindy gave us helpful ideas of where to drive to see the most lovely views. We also went into Estes every day so you are just minutes to Estes and RMNP - location cannot be beat. Cindy was pleasant and helpful with everything we needed. It is a well run resort and she expects you to keep it as you would your own home and for me that is a plus! It shows pride in ownership and that is the kind of place I want to stay at when I am on vacation. Thanks for such a good experience Cindy.

I believe this was our fourth visit for the New Year. We are never disappointed! Our little "apartment" had a full kitchen including a dishwasher! Clean & cozy. Fireplace, hot tub on the balcony--who could want a better way to ring in the New Year? We will be back! Again & again. Thanks for such a great place!!!!! I wish I lived there! :)

Cute cabin that was very comfortable. Great location to RMNP entrance less than 1 mile / 5 mins drive meaning you could easily pop in after 3pm when you don’t have timed entry reservation. Very accommodating staff/owners who helped ensure we enjoyed our stay.

Worst. Hotel. Experience. Ever. Pre-booked on Expedia for 5 adults a two bedroom three bed cabin with a hot tub. When we arrive there is no front desk no one to help. We wait an hour and finally are given a "room" without them even mentioning they sold out of our room type (how do you sell out your such a small place) try to squeeze us into a single room with one bed and a pull out no hot tub no balcony no patio. No full kitchen. No two bathrooms. Nothing of what we paid for. We argued with them for hours and to be told to leave the property and f*** off and we are not welcome back because we wanted what we paid for and demanded a refund. I waited an entire month 27 days for this refund. These people are disgusting. I reported them to the local authorities I hope their hotelier license is cancelled.

Horrible experience with this place. No services were provided at all during our stay. After we left we were charged 200$ For vacuuming the room! Clerk lady was extremely rude and obnoxious and laid to us bluntly. There are plenty of other hotels in Estes park, I highly recommend for you to choose another place to stay in, somewhere that will respect you as a customer.

We have been going to Wildwood Inn since 2003 when my husband and I honeymooned in October of that year. We have been back at least 4 times since and even referred my parents. It used to feel like a “home away from home”, but this last time it does not anymore. There used to be so much hospitality and that is gone. There is not any communication to make a guest feel welcomed, only about how much more you will pay if you break any rules or regulations. It is a common courtesy to inform your guests (especially about RMNP since that is the main reason people stay in the area) so they will enjoy their stay, and when I called and emailed with questions, the response from Cindy was very rude and unapologetic. I was so nervous before we were checking out that the room was clean enough so that I wouldn’t be charged any more money(although my son found a moldy piece of cheese and lots of crumbs under the couch when we checked in?) It just feels like it’s just ALL about the money now for Wildwood Inn. We have had wonderful memories there and we had hoped to have many more. It is a very beautiful place in a very beautiful location, but unfortunately we will NOT be back or refer anyone, anymore.

Our extended family convened in Estes Park from 4 states and England for a family celebration, reserving Wildwood Inn as early as February. We rented some of the large suites for several days July-August 2022. The family with the biggest suite seemed like a convenient HQ for meeting up as we arrived at various times in CO. But the evening before the last of us moved into Wildwood Inn they were shocked into tears by a hostile call, threatened with a substantial fine for having allowed us to visit them. This was in spite of management having received the ca $4500 paid in advance by all of us. No effort was made to understand the situation; they jumped to conclusions when they saw a couple of extra cars. In addition, there was no-one in the office most of the time; we were asked to walk up and down the steep hill to fetch our portacrib ($12 per day fee) and replenish toilet paper, etc. The golf cart maintenance workers couldn't be troubled for this basic hospitality. The rooms are nicely furnished and most equipment worked, but we had instantly dirty socks from our unmopped kitchen floor. Because of the continual feeling of suspicion, of being closely watched instead of welcomed, generated by the owners we do not recommend staying in this inn. Instead of experiencing 'comfort and satisfaction as highest priority' we were repeatedly made uncomfortable and uneasy during our stay.

We just checked out of the Wildwood Inn and left the room spotless. We cleaned the kitchen, vacuumed the carpets and left the bathroom used towels in a pile on the bathroom floor. There were no stains on the bath towels, but they charged us a fee of $50 for two stained towels?! Beware and read the contract thoroughly before signing pre- check-in. We travel often and I’ve never been charged a fee for anything. We’re incredibly clean and always return our cabins and hotel rooms cleaner than expected. I may have had a small foundation stain on a washcloth, but I can’t justify a $50 charge for something that minor. I’m my opinion, that is to be expected in the housekeeping department.

We enjoyed having you stay with us and are sorry you are unhappy with the fees, however you did leave two bath towels with giant stains on them that we hand scrubbed and were not able to get out after treatments and washing. We provide (dark colored) makeup washcloths in hopes of keeping our luxury bath towels from getting ruined.

We did not feel we got our moneys worth as when we came there were two bugs on one of the beds, the door to one of the bedrooms didn’t close properly, and the shower head in one of the bathrooms was very hard to use, yet they charged us a extra $50 cleaning fee even though they didn’t provide adequate service to us. We stayed there for 4 nights and they never came to clean the room. We cleaned up before we left. We have never been charged an extra cleaning fee anywhere else. We called to complain and they sent us a picture that showed normal cleaning. We think they subsequently blocked our call because they wouldn’t pick up the phone. The place needs updating and the customer service was awful.

We find it very interesting that you made no mention of ANY issues when you checked-out, It was only after you were charged a fee that complaints were mentioned. We reserve the right to charge for excessive cleaning that is needed and your units took our HSK staff double their normal cleaning time because of how dirty you left it. We could have charged a lot more than $50 ,per our policy that you agreed to, we think a $50 fee for the way you left your units was more than fair.

We checked-in online from home. There is no staff at the hotel. We got there and hadn't received instructions. We called the support phone number. It took a whole 45 minutes on the phone with one person and the supervisor. We had to upload five pictures, use two different phone numbers, enter credit card once more (after doing so twice at home), and finally they told us the room number and the door code. Forty-five minutes during which we considered going elsewhere.
It ruined my mood and I didn't sleep well. Which is a too bad because the place is nice.

We were in #35 and had beautiful views of the mountains. However, I wouldn’t consider our room or the hot tub on the balcony very private. Our front door was right next to the room beside us. The balcony had little walls going from the building, half way out the balcony. When standing at the railing you could see rooms and balconies/patios all around. When standing closer to the actual building (in our case, the door that led from our room onto the patio) it was a bit more private. Sitting in the hot tub, in my opinion, was only semi private. I still loved it though and will stay here again if I’m ever in Estes Park!
I think I see the one you're referring to. Our view was spectacular, and everything we experienced was more than we expected. I can't say much about the internet, we try to get away from technology when we're on a vacation, so that was not something we would have taken note of. It is a beautiful, spotlessly clean and convenient place to stay. I would not hesitate one second to go back again.
There are more places to choose from in the Estes Park area.
