Check in was about 1 1/2 miles away with friendly curteous staff. Cabin (#3) was very small but comfortable. King size bed was comfortable. Coffee, creamer, sugars, paper plates, paper towels and plastic utensils were provided along with all the toiletries and nice large towels. Unit had a fireplace, but it was too warm to use. You can buy ice ($3) and firewood at the check in facility. Easy to get to RMNP. Only minutes away and not crowded like the Beaver Meadows entrance. Towels, etc can be refreshed upon request. Wifi was good. TV reception ok. DVD player. You can check out movies at the check in facility. Overall, not a bad place, but over priced for what you get. It's old but decent. Microwave, and tiny refrigerator. Very tiny. They do supply coffee (both regular and decaf) but no tea. BBQ grill is there to use. No hot tub in this unit or on the property. No extra amenities.

Thank you for taking the time to review your experience. I’m sorry to hear it wasn’t all you’d hoped for. We do have units that offer personal hot tubs but no community hot tubs are on site.

Overall great place to stay. 6 of us stayed in #17. Beds were comfortable, kitchen area worked for us and an overall good place to stay. The outside of the buildings are becoming a bit worn but it worked for us.

I read the reviews before we went to Sunnyside Knolls.... I have to be honest I was so worried because of what people said on their reviews. We just got back home today and I have to say everyone's reviews are extremely harsh! We walked in to check in and the lady at the desk was helpful friendly and knowledgable. A quick check in proccess.... We then went to our cabin and we stayed in cabin 11.... We walked in and was pleasantly suprised ! Everything was clean looked new and not one thing I could complain about ! We also had our own personal hot tub outside and it was in a private area which was nice ! Pretty clean as well. We brought both of our dogs and had a fenced in area for them. We stayed two nights and had a great vacation up in the mountain the location is very convienant. Overall we will return to Sunnyside knolls and stay in cabin 11 ! I have no complaints about the cabin or staff !
Also it was very clean for a pet friendly cabin .

Stayed in unit #8 oct 2020. Significant mouse issue inside the cabin!! Had to ask for mouse traps to be set, rarely slept due to having to get out of bed and clear traps over a dozen times during the night to make room for more mice coming in. We found the hole they were getting in. Not our job to do but we did it and asked for it to get filled. They filled it on the last day and no mice that night. Horrible experience. Asked for at least two nights of refund and did not get it. Property manager should have figured out the first day we complained that they were getting in through back of unit by kitchen. This was not one or two mice. We trapped over a dozen and would have been more had we not given up at 3:00am because we needed to sleep. Ridiculous. I am beyond sick of poor business. A good business would have at least refunded.

I have reviewed the reservation notes and spoken with the involved staff. This guest is correct that mice found their way into this unit. I apologize we did not locate the entry point sooner and are grateful to the guest for pointing it out once located. As we border a national park in the mountains, these situations can occur and we are always adjusting our preventative measures. Staff offered to move this guest to another cabin during their stay but that offer was declined.

Stayed 2 nights in number 8. Very cozy cabin, plenty of room for 2 people. Loved that it had a blu ray player in the room, we brought some movies with us. Plus, the office rents out copies of The Shining (honestly, what is better to do in Estes Park on a snowy night?). Loved that they are dog friendly, my dog loved it. Only real complaint I have is that the mattress on the pullout couch was very flat and hard. Other than that, there was a pretty constant cold draft in the living room, but never found where it was coming from. But those few things wouldn’t stop us from coming again. Wonderful experience at this place!

Just recently stayed at this resort in Cabin 15, and sadly it was not a great experience. The bed is non existent, in that it is probably 10 years old. Lee also lied about offering a dif room. Stay at the 4 seasons down the street with Mark. Bed was amazing, and is clearly someone who cares about customer satisfaction, but if you fancy some back aches Sunnyside Knoll is the place to be. Hot tub was nice, location to park is good, maintenance response is immediately, and Bruce was wonderful. Lee however, lied about what was done, and clearly can't take criticism, maybe a change in occupation is in order since the service industry doesn't seem to suit you.

We just got here but we're loving it so far. We chose #16 because we could bring our fur baby! Nice private cabins and houses. We have a real wood burning fireplace. A very spacious 1 bedroom super king. Grill and hot tub on the large deck. We're excited for a relaxing weekend!

After reading reviews on multiple sites about this resort, I began to worry. We stayed in cabin 15 and everything was amazing. Perfect for family of 4, great service, great location. Would definitely stay again, and would definitely recommend.
