Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I was deceived by previous reviews.
The entire building smells unique to China, and the lobby landscape is different from the picture. The three lobbyists chatted with each other even though I stood there without answering. I asked for a check-in and only then they responded unfriendly.
They even demanded a $200 deposit to stop smoking on the spot.
The staff assigned the room upstairs, even though we were checking in at 3 o'clock, to see that we had three very large carriers. I had to take the stairs because there was no elevator.
And it was noisy because it was not soundproof. On the last day, when I checked out at dawn for flight time, the lobby desk was empty. I rang the bell for a long time, but the staff didn't show up. A middle-aged Chinese female worker came out of the lobby with a very frowned face when a safeguard who had seen us called her on the phone. She was irritated to wait when I urgently asked her to check out and return the deposit. And after checking the room for a long time, I gave it a refund without sincerity.
She didn't even say hello to the end.
This hotel provided the worst service in Saipan, and I will never use it again.

The room smelled, ants, weird gun shots outside, key didn't work, safe failed, etc.

The actual colony isn't that great either. Just save your money and either check into the Hyatt or go to Guam.

I understand they were recovering from a typhoon a few months back but they could do better.

The beds were very uncomfortable!!

I only stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The staff that was checking me in was a bit rude. I liked the way the room looked. It was simple yet modern looking. Im assuming it was newly renovated. I couldn’t even watch TV because there there ONLY CHINESE channels... There was only one American and one Korean and they were both news channels. When I opened the closet’s sliding door one of them got stuck. Also, funny thing is that there is a hot pot and tea cups but no coffee or tea given. Expedia says city view but I would say that none of the rooms are city view due to Saipan being very small and still urbanizing. There are 3 floors with no elevator and at night time there is no housekeeping. There are also bugs that come to the room and when I brought it up to the staff’s concern, she just simply told me that it’s because of the weather. I’m from Guam and we don’t get that kinds of bugs swarming in the room from the walls to the ceiling to the bed sheets and the pillows. In the end, there was nothing they could’ve done about it since it was night time and I didn’t want to sleep inhaling bug spray.

I think that the hotel should have a mini laundry room at least and change the SQUARE TOILET seat. I don’t know if they’re trying to be fancy but it was not comfortable at all sitting on it.

I had a rep who was visiting and staying at the Paradise Hotel. There was not telephone in the room. No phone in the room. Impossible to connect with guest. Ridiculous. How are you supposed to call a guest if there is no phone.

All other hotels were full and this was my last resort. Had to pay $115 per night in advance and when i arrived they wanted another $100 dollar security deposit. The lobby smelled like mildew and looked like the 70's. The room furnishings were very cheap and there were only 5 channels on the TV that were Chinese and Korean. The only nice thing about this place was the bathroom that shows it had been remodeled and was very nice. Any place is better than here.
