Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was the worst hotel i have ever been to..... Water pressure so low it didn't turn on the instant hot water system every time, so every 3 shower was hot .... if i was lucky, Middle of Nowhere and nothing on site, No cooking ( eg microwave, kettle) appliances allowed in rooms..... only stay as a LAST resort... Staff we good knowing the restrictions and being only staff had no power to change the situation...

The hotel with poor maintenance, not much choice for food , only with water, instant noodles and price is expensive. Far away from town and no transport is available unless you rent a car or pay high taxi fare. Room light not adequate, no lift and I have to take my 25kg diving gear to 3rd floor ...well a good exercise for me though..

We rented 2 rooms.
None of them was clean, both were so old that there was not even protection on electrical wires.
You could get electrocuted while taking your shower, despite notifying the management this did not raise any concern. The first night there was an electrical fire with the water heater and we had to take a 3rd room that turned to be as unsafe and dirty as the 2 others.
Rooms were not cleaned and towels not replaced until the 3rd day when we expressly request for it. If you forget to ask for it the room were not done. There was no soap or shampoo until we requested for it. Each and every time we were ask in what hotel we were staying the locals reacted with a mix of compassion and embarassment.
Such a business is a threat for Saipan' tourism. It is amazing that local authorities tolerate such unsafe and dirty place. We spent 5 years in China and never experienced such thing. The only worst experience was in rural India but for a room that was 1/8 of the cost we paid at Prince hotel.
It's a scandale to call such a place an hotel.

We enjoyed ourselves, it was a bit of a shock at first, but as we settled in and gave it a chance, we were great! It was clean, quiet and a great new pool. Everyone was very friendly and wanted to be helpful. There are no frills, but for $73.00 a night, we did just great. For breakfast they served, fried eggs, a vegetable crepe, fresh oranges, pickled potatoes and rice. Different, but it was fine, very different but fine! Air Conditioning worked great! We called it our own Marigold Prince Hotel and had a great week traveling and taking in the whole Island!
