Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed in our camper van for 2 nights. The site was very nicely laid out. Showers and toilets the cleanest we have experienced on our 3 week trip. The proprietor even took approximately 15 of people (including us) on a night walk through the local wood to see the glow worms. We would highly recommend this campsite.

We stayed here after being recommended by friends. It was a perfect location to walk to see the glow worms. We were only there for one night before traveling onwards and it was clean and tidy and had everything needed. It was close enough to walk to get a coffee in the morning. If staying longer and with kids there wasn’t anything there for them.

A basic parking lot for campervans - a small area that is well serviced with excellent showers and laundry and kitchen. There is a barbecue for use and a free glow worm tour. It would have been nice for the hosts to be able to include Māori knowledge of glow worms - especially being immigrants it is very important to acknowledge the indigenous people and knowledge of this beautiful place

Good little.spot. The park organised a night glow worm walk. The kids and my hisband said it was a lovelt walk. The camp.kitchen is a good size. The showers block is clean. The RV spots have space between then brillant place to base yourself to.go see the sunrise over Lake Matheson.

There are 2 sites in Fox Glacier and this one was the better located and it is just ideal. A 100m walk to a really nice restaurant and all the bars. It cost us $40 for the night for 2 of us and a large Campervan which included some wi-fi. Highly recommended

We chose this place because it's right smack in town. But still beautifully appointed. The wooden cabins look comfortable and pretty.
We stayed in one of the powered site in our caravan.
Unfortunately it was raining very hard when we were there overnight. I can only look longingly at the nice picnic table and the view outside.
We used the washer and dryer.
Toilets and bathroom are there but I did not use them so I cannot review that.
Such a nice location. Would definitely stay there again.

Would highly recommend this facility. Hope to return soon for another camping trip. The kitchen and showers were very clean and organized. Very close to Fox and Franze Josef Glacier. Tent site well located in trees. Peaceful surroundings and helpful staff.

Dark haired woman rude and unfriendly in the extreme.. Told us that the park was empty of camper vans , then when we asked about a particular spot she said was there a green chair there then that reserve didn't work she then went on and on about how we don't get it we felt very insulted and she made us not want to stay. Who ever owns this property get rid of her as she will turn all of your customers away we only stayed one night because of her CHARMING !

A small site in the middle of Fox Glacier where we were made to feel very welcome. Its location makes it more convenient than Top 10. The showers and toilets were very clean and enough to cater for those on the site. The pitches are level and some are grassed. A minutes walk from the site is a restaurant (The Last Kitchen?) where we had an excellent meal. The owners of the site booked our helicopter flight over Fox Glacier without any fuss and we were up there with in an hour of arriving in Fox! Super friendly and we would highly recommend it.
