We stayed here on the weekend wit a group of friends We stayed in the pukeko cabin on the beach front. It has a nice big table outside for eating at could fit easily 10 people around d it. Rained the whole time but we still used the kyacks and went swimming. Cooking facilities and showers were new clean and...

Our first overnight stay in NZ was at this pretty spot. Clean facilities on a muddy stopover made this first night in our campervan great. Great walk along the water in the morning looking at all the permanent cabins etc along the way was the perfect way to start the day. Highly recommended.

The park is a strange layout of pitches, old vans, and chalets. Many of the new buildings have old shop fronts to make the site look like a village. The facilities are clean but the toilet block is separate from the showers. The showers had a push button timer but the water temp varied. Not really worth $40 a night

It is a shame about this place it is a beautiful setting and great for small children. Spent the weekend there and although beautiful the sites are small, the owner is arrogant and not customer service friendly it appears unless you are a permanent resident. The smell from the septic tanks when you are trying to eat your dinner is...

We are sorry that you did not enjoy your stay in our holiday park. You were advised of the sizes of the sites when your booking was made and I did come down in the evening to help you to re position your caravan, van and gazebo to best suit these 2 sites you booked. There were no septic system...

Spent all of 20 minutes there before we decided to pack up and go home. Very disappointing for our whole family. Reasons: No space to fit tents and a gazebo for a family of 4 (never-mind my car) on the super super small campsite. Drain smell hanging in the air. Manager informed me that the road was too busy for...

Thanks Paul D, Your booking was made late in the season and was 1 of only a few sites left. You advised that your tent was 3 x 6 and the site you were put on is 7 x 7 so plenty of room for the tent and gazebo. Space for your car could have easily been sort if it...

I was firstly disappointed on arrival as I had booked a self contained cabin to discover that the unit did not have a bathroom only a kitchenette. The parking in the cab ground is impossibly tight as cabins/caravans and tent sites are jammed in all together. The cabin that we were in was absolutely filthy. The surfaces and skirting boards...

We stayed here for 3 nights, on unpowered tent pitches. PROS - the staff were all lovely and helpful with any requests. We really couldn't fault them, so thank you! - the kitchen is large, clean and modern - free kayaks is a great bonus and there is a small library too - we never had to queue for a...

This camp has a relaxed attitude to campers checking in and out but they carry it too far when you arrive after check in time to find someone’s tent still on your pre-booked site. We had to wait nearly half an hour for the owner to pack up and vacate the site. Be aware that the size of sites varies...

I booked this park as it seemed wonderful by the discription online. Maybe I was just unlucky. I also dont usually camp over the peak season as it becomes very busy and crowded in most camps. I booked almost 6 months in advance knowing I want to go over New Years. After paying at the office I drove twice around...
