Motorway (State Highway 1) on and off ramps make for easy access to us and to and from the rest of Auckland. Auckland Airport is a 10 minute drive. Just a short walking distance to the Manukau Mall, McDonalds, Wendy's, Subway, Burger Fuel, Countdown and Pak'N'Save.
We intended to stay for a short period, but a medical issue arose and the receptionist rearranged other bookings to make sure we could stay in the same room.
The staff, including the cleaners were very friendly.
The only reason I gave a 4 rather than higher was that WiFi was hit and miss

The location of this motel is quite good, not too far from the airport and walking distance to Westfield. There is on site parking.
The one bedroom room was quite good with modern kitchenette however the sofa was so sunken that without a cushion under you you were sitting on the frame. The sofa was also quite stained.

We stayed for one night on business before our flight to Wellington and visit to Wharekauhau Estate (which to be honest is at the complete other end of the luxury spectrum).
The room itself was clean and functional, but pretty basic. The bed was too soft (although we're used to sleeping on a futon) and there were no tissues in the room. There's free on-site car parking (one per room) but the spaces are quite tight with most of them angled.
Overall we felt it was a bit pricey at NZD$140 for the night (via an accommodation aggrigator site) but the location is good and it's close to supermarkets, Manukau shopping centre and Good English Roasts for a quick NZ lamb roast dinner.

It is summer in Auckland and we did not realise that the motel does not have aircon in the room. It was so hot in the room.
The fan available in the room is so weak. The wifi during peak hours is useless.
The TV remote does not work properly.
On the positive note, the room is claen.

Great reception the lady at the front desk was very kind and helpful as we got lost and needed to call. The rooms were clean and had all we needed. Comfortable bed , enjoyed the spa and a relax before going out. Very close to the mall and food amenities.

Awesome place to stay. Super friendly staff including cleaners. Pool was great and loved our room. Met all our needs. Shopping within walking distance which was great. The only thing missing was air conditioning although there was a ceiling and stand alone fan it was still quite hot. Overall though it was a very pleasant experience.

On our way to Roratonga when flight was cancelled. Stayed at the Manukau motor lodge very handy to auckland Airport. Comfortable a tad warm as no aircon. I left the fridge door open!! Inexpensive at £90 per per per night

Rooms are super clean and have everything you need. Good parking and local amenities, restaurants and supermarkets close by. Staff very friendly and efficient. I only needed a one night stay but studio room would be OK for a week for 2 people.

Agree with above comment. Book the Sudima or Jet hotels sudima is nicer. -they are close to airport and they have free shuttles and all you need.
