Stayed here a few times, I request a view over the airport for my boy each time and they always accommodate me. Good apartment lay out and features, washer, dryer and dishwasher if needed. This apartment needs an upgrade. Jug was broken and replaced the next day, lid was broken and reception asked if it still worked. Told them it was but unsafe. Couch was stained all over and needed replacing. Hairdryer was broken. They still show sky t.v available in the compendium but sky has been removed. Room was clean. $10 per night secure parking is great and too tight to drive around unlike some hotels. Will stay again, just needs a bit more tidying up in the rooms and things being checked. Price was good for a family. Good location too for central Manakau.

Had a two bed apartment. It was small but suitable for what we needed. The couch was only a two seater so someone had to sit on the floor or uncomfortable dining chair. Location was good for what we needed.

Snot on walls in bedroom and above kitchen sink. Hair in bed so sheets had not been changed. Shower was broken. Poo stains on toilet 🤮 see photos for proof below. Elevator wasn’t working correctly had to push button to the required floor multiple times before it would work. Wind howling outside windows.

We stayed on the 16th floor with exceptional views, however the nets were mouldy & the wind noise was unpleasant. The iron didn't work & the beds are relatively small. Location was great & service friendly.

Work trip and I wanted to be close to the airport for a morning flight. The deluxe 2 bedroom was nothing like the pictures. Not requested and not required, but, I had an accessible apartment on level 7. No room to get around the bed to the wardrobe, so, I’m not sure how it’s accessible.Two toned paint from all the touch up works, and very tired. Lots of missing grout in the bathroom. It felt like an 80s apartment, on the flight path. Positive is that it was clean and close to the airport.

I have stayed here before when travelling for work, as the location is good, and the room previously was adequate but most recently I was given a suite that was quite dirty. The carpet was covered in food crumbs and dirt and was very stained, there were dirty smears on many of the walls, sticky table surfaces and the sofa was quite stained too. Overall not a comfortable stay - as I don’t mind staying in older hotel rooms just as long as they are clean! This one certainly needed a deep clean and freshen up!

Room, parking, and service during our stay were all great. Review would have been a 5* apart from the fact the property lost or disposed of personal items left in the room, despite us contacting them the day after our stay. With over $600 of hair, face and body products and a large white toiletries bag not being able to be located. After numerous contacts we were finally told its not there and there is nothing we can do. Also note that parking is additional, but it was very secure, well lit and accessible directly to the hotel.

We have stayed several times and I can honestly say that the Proximity Apartments is the best accommodation we have used. Apartments are very well equipped like a home away from home and having a washing machine and dryer in the room is very handy. Staff are friendly and very happy to accommodate any requests. Highly recommended!

I stay here a bit for work, and there has been some renovations since i was last here, headboards put up against the beds and i think there are new tvs as well. Beds are better than what they used to be and are on the hard side but still reasonably comfortable. Staff are good, and the location is great, straight across the road from the mall, but away from the busy motorway.

Overall my five-night stay in an apartment on level 13 was totally satisfactory. The apartment had all the amenities for independent living, was comfortable without being lavish. Yes, the bathroom and bedroom were small, and the wardrobe inadequate if two people were occupying but otherwise it was all I needed. Secure underground carparking is a big plus. Washing machine and dryer also a helpful. The Westfield Mall is less than a five minute walk away and on its perimeter there are a couple of restaurants/bars which are the closest to the apartment that offer dinner. Next to the apartment building is a cafe and a sushi place. Supermarket is on the other side of the mall.
