When you are looking for a comfortable, modern “home away from home” in the Eastern suburbs Amberwood more than fills the bill. While the property is handy to amenities and attractions it is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac street – it is certainly one of those that we all look for but seldom find – just perfect! Leonie is a wonderful host who cheerful looked after all our needs and provided a truly great NZ breakfast. Highly recommended we will certainly book again.

Leonie is such a welcoming person and nothing is too much trouble. The room was comfortable and clean with a shower and hand basin in an ensuite. The toilet was just outside the door. The breakfast options were amazing and we were appreciative that she had gluten free options. Parking on the quiet no exit street was easy. There is a large lounge with tv and plenty of books to read. The two dachshunds were a delight. We will stay there again.

A pousada é muito boa: quartos muito limpos e amplos, cama ótima, chuveiro bom, café da manhã também muito saboroso. A proprietária também, Leonie, é muito atenciosa e solicita, sempre alegre e disposta a ajudar. Apenas uma ressalva: as vezes, é possível sentir o cheiro dos cachorros na casa – eles ficam junto conosco, apenas não entram nos quartos. Nada tão grave, mas para quem não gosta, pode ser ruim.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Leonie is a lovely, welcoming, friendly person. The house is spotlessly clean and the breakfast was amazing, with lots of choice. It was lovely that we were able to take our two little dogs along with us and they got on great with Leonie's little ones. Would definately recommend and would definately stay here again.
