The main reason for choosing this motel was it's location as it was close to where my husband needed to go for some dental work. We stayed in room 23 which was surprisingly quiet for being at the front of the hotel by a busy road. While the room could do with a freshen up it was clean and roomy for the 2 of us. There was a queen bed and a single bed. The TV was on a wall that meant if you were on the bed you'd need to turn your head. I was comfortable sitting on one of the chairs with my feet on the bed. The bathroom was small and you had to step up into the shower. Water pressure was good. We could hear the planes taking off and landing at the airport which didn't bother us as much as it could have. We would choose to stay here again if the need arises

The hotel is clean, spacious and bright. Easy parking, easy access. The front desk of the hotel is warm, attentive, efficient and quick to check in. The room is very clean, the bathroom dry and wet separation, the overall is very comfortable. Room sound insulation is very good, very quiet, does not affect sleep. Prices are affordable. Live very satisfied!

I have stayed in many rooms at the Camelot Arms during the COVID lockdowns, and most recently I stayed in Room 4, which has a new marble bathroom. David and Michael are very hospitable and always go the extra mile if you ask them for anything.

I highly endorse the Camlot Arms, which I consider to be a home away from home.

Say hello to their cats if you get the chance.

The room was spacious, but the room was dated nevertheless the location of the motel was excellent. The bed was comfortable, but the Wi-Fi kept dropping out. The parking was sufficient. and the management was friendly, having a kitchen was a bonus as well as a heat pump/AC and a sky decoder in the room

一家近奥克兰国际机场的宾馆,干净整洁,我们非常满意地选择了这家宾馆。老板非常热情!可以中午交流!交通也非常 方便,对面就是公交车站。We were quite satisfied to choose this motel because it's close to Auckland Airport. It has nice and new Premium one bedroom apartment. Helpful and friendly management and staff. The staff did laundry service for us and it's really appreciated that. We highly recommend our business people to stay Asure Camelot Arms Motel. Thank you once again.

We stayed in the two bedroom apartment for one night for easy access to Rainbow’s end night rides. We had a lovely friendly welcome, there was lots of parking and settling in was easy.

The rooms were a generous size, the beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The decor is typical of a motel of this era, it was comfortable and had great amenities in the kitchen and bathroom. A definite bonus was that the suite had a heatpump/ac in each room. The temperature was mild for our stay, but that would have been great in Summer.

Shops are very handy and Rainbow’s end is less than 5 mins drive away.

There is only one key so if your family is doing different things as ours was the people at reception were very happy to let the ones without a key in the room if they got back first.

A good clean, functional motel, well serviced with friendly staff.

Terrible service. Incredibly rude staff. Very disorganized. We felt as welcome as a fart in a space suit. Won't go there again and won't recommend it. Staff need to learn people skills. Also they take $250 amount off you plus all payments before they let you in. Unheard of practice.

Thank you for taking the time and trouble to review our motel. We’re very sorry you had problems during your stay. Perhaps you haven’t heard of “payment in advance.” It was recommended more than 10 years by the then Motel Association as a way for members to deal with guests who leave without paying their bills. At the time there was a lot of problem around the country with runners. I think since members adopted the prepayment method the problem has stopped. We’re sorry that you disagree with such a method but I think you’ll find that it’s fairly universal around the country for obvious reasons. Mostly we only charge a $250 refundable bond/damage deposit for Debit card holders. You tried to bluff that you had a Credit card when you actually had a Debit card. You must have known that you had a Debit card. We could tell by the card number that it was a Debit card. So why try bluffing? Others gave up your bluff line a long time ago. I think too that you’ll find that charging a bond for Debit cards is also fairly standard around the country at least in main centres. It is also accepted by other guests from around the country. Kind Regards

Totally rude and unhelpful staff member who obviously felt he was too superior to give assistance with anything. We will never ever recommend this place to any friends or family. Definitely go elsewhere if you want to be treated with respect.

I’m really sorry that you took offence at what I was trying to say. I was trying very hard to give you good advice. You shouldn’t need to call up just shortly before your date of check in. When you make a booking you should get a confirmation email fairly soon after or within a few hours. Once you have the confirmation it is up to the hotel to provide you with accommodation regardless. It’s up to them to provide you with alternative accommodation if things turn to custard. If you don’t receive a confirmation email within a reasonable time something has gone wrong. That’s the time to get in touch. Once again sorry. I get on with most people. Kind Regards
