We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit - very clean and spacious and free wifi. Motel owner was extremely helpful throughout and when one of our group left behind a mobile phone, she immediately rang us and assisted with arranging for it to be sent back to our home. Nice personal attention.

We stayed here on our way to cape reinga on a saturday night. The town was quite full but this motel had a family room available. Great facilities, albeit a little dates but very clean and comfortable.

Very pleasant owners, both accommodating and easy to deal with. Room was clean and good size rooms for family of 6. Good variety of channels to help with a wet day and young kids. Netflix, YouTube, Great movie selection etc. Offered free WiFi connection. Convenient parking right outside your room. Easy 2 min drive to Kaitaia township. Happy to recommend Capri motel.

Apart from needing a spruce up it was clean with all amenities. Bed was good and shower also. WIFI was dodgy and only worked outside. Three plus stars cos it was clean. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

We stayed here overnight after driving up from Auckland , ready for a tour of 90 mile beach the next day
We chose the Capri for its location and its price both of which were just what we wanted
The motel was clean, and provided everything we needed for a pleasant stay we had a comfortable nights sleep ready for our trip the next morning on the Harrison cape runner the offices of which is about a five million Ute drive from the Capri
Would definitely recommend the Capri to anyone visiting Kaitaia

This motel is currently run by a very friendly lady, Betty, and her daughter.
We found both of them to be really pleasant to talk to, and very helpful too.
The rooms we had were clean, comfy, quiet, and had everything we needed for the 2 night stay.
Betty made it very easy for us to book our 90-mile beach trip with Harrisons, as she regularly deals with and advertises that company.
Overall, a really enjoyable stay, and we'll definitely book to stay in the Capri Motel again when we're next in Kaitaia.

We stayed here for 2 weeks. The beds were comfy and the kitchenette was super convenient for making lunch or throwing together an antipasto dinner. Capri is close to the town centre so you can leave your car behind and walk most places. The rooms are older and need updating, if you can look past that, the price is right. The biggest trouble for us was the was no air conditioning and it happened to be super warm while we were in Kaitaia. I ended up buying a fan at the warehouse just to be able to sleep on the really hot nights.

The motel was very cramped and hot there where lots of bugs in the room. The WiFi was terrible and the TV was a small and old one. I would not go to this motel in less you are desperate. The bathrooms where not good and the bedrooms Where very bad.

We stayed in studio flat and it was awesome. Very spacious, has cooking facilities. Close to town. We got extra bed. Room comes with double bed and a single bed. Free wifi and sky tv. Parking is available right outside the room. Owners are very nice and friendly.
