We loved this B&B in a beautiful corner of Coronandel. The location was great, an easy walk to the beach, close also to Cooks and Hot Water Beach. The room was simply wonderful; spacious, beautifully decorated, everything you could need. The breakfast was delicious; and lots of GF options as well as care given to me as a coealiac, which was appreciated. The pool area (as if the beach was not enough!) was lovely and quiet, felt very private and calm. Everything is very clean and well looked after. You can feel how much love is put in by the hosts Phil and Sue. They were fantastic; warm and friendly, very helpful with all the tips and information you would need. We immediately felt at home and would love to return one day! Thank you again for a wonderful stay.

It was a real pleasure to stay at this lovely B&B, to meet hosts Sue and Phil and meet our fellow guests. Light, spacious, comfortable rooms, delicious breakfasts and a great location on the Coromandel. Easy walk to the beach, local shops and a friendly pub with good food. Just a one minute walk to an excellent restaurant, The Church. Had a really nice, relaxing time!

We enjoyed a perfect stay at Hahei B&B. We were welcomed by both Sue and Phil when we arrived and shown to The Palm Room. Our room was beautifully appointed, super clean and large. We also had a walk in wardrobe, balcony, and large bathroom, well stocked with towels, hairdryer and guest toiletries too. We had our daily breakfast with the other guests, enjoying fresh coffee, fruit juices, muesli, fruit, yoghurt, toast and a hot breakfast too…..delicious! It was lovely to meet up with other travellers and swap stories each morning. What made our stay extra special, though, were the hosts. Sue and Phil were delightful. So friendly and helpful, suggesting places to visit, providing huge beach towels for our trips to Hahei Beach, and even spades to dig our holes at Hot Water Beach too. Their local knowledge and advice meant we really made the most of our time by the sea. They couldn’t have been more helpful. We had a perfect stay, and can’t recommend this B&B highly enough. Phil and Sue were absolutely fantastic. Their recommendations for activities and places to eat were most helpful and enhanced our vacation to Hahei to make it one of our most enjoyable experiences. Their knowledge of the area and insight were most helpful in determining what we should do. The room and amenities were first class: clean, like new and well equipped with everything you might need. Breakfast was scrumptious with several different selections to choose from. The location is ideal and convenient to all activities around Hahei. They provided towels and shovels for Hot Beach, towels for our use at The Chums beach. We strongly recommend Hahei Bed and Breakfast and will stay here again upon our return.

A perfect accommodation with lovely hosts who prepare a perfect breakfast. The beach and restaurants are within walking distance. The beach is the most beautiful in comparison and exiting boat tours are available. The hot water beach is nearby - but overcrowded.

What a wonderful bnb in a beautiful place! Sue and Phil couldn’t have been more welcoming. The room had everything we needed. We were on the second floor so we also had access to a living area, a fridge and a coffee maker and snacks. The breakfasts were delicious and they helped us get a wonderful Zodiak tour of Cathedral Cove nearby. They also have beautiful flowers that surround the property and a pool. I wish it weren’t so far away. We’d love to go back.

Had a really lovely stay in the Garden Room total privacy. Sue and Phil are great hosts made us feel really welcome. Fabulous breakfast. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wished we could have stayed longer. Would definitely recommend to everyone.

Excellent little B&B! We stayed in the Hibiscus room which was an oasis of calm and tranquility! Beautifully decorated, comfortable and well appointed with views over the garden and pool and a dec on two sides with various chairs and a table. Sue and Phil were great hosts and nothing was too much trouble for them, with weather and travel advice thrown in! Breakfasts were really good with lots of choices. It was also lovely chatting to Sue and Phil and the other guests over a lazy breakfast. Definitely worth the long drive round the coastal road, as the main road closed because of the cyclone damage. Recommend staying here.
