Our unit was amazingly clean- one of the nicest cleanest places we've ever stayed. Grounds were lovely too. And really convenient location in Hahei. Great fish and chips at the ice cream shop, and coffee at the little blue penguin pop up- makes all the difference! Hosts were very nice friendly people. gave us some flexibility too after booking which was appreciated. We'd certainly stay again and have already recommended to a friend.

Had a really good stay here. The owners are very nice and helpful. It is in a great location for getting to Cathedral Cove, the beach and the town. Plenty of room for your car. Kept very clean and tidy. Were offered beach towels. The bed was comfortable. Would stay here again.

We just recently visited Cathedral Cove and Hot Water Beach and stayed at Tatahi Lodge. We absolutely loved our stay and I can’t recommend this gorgeous place enough! The rooms and all the facilities were spotless and what I really loved - very cosy and comfortable! The kitchen/bathrooms - very clean. Beds and linen - comfortable and good quality. We travelled with kids and they loved it too! There is a cosy lounge with books and games they enjoyed in the evening. The lodge is located right in the midst of the town, but it feels very private and quiet. Everyone who we met at the place were super lovely, kind and helpful. We were able to borrow the spades for the Hot Water beach. I will be recommending this place to everyone who is heading that way!

Cottages are superbly appointed, friendly service, it just felt so comfortable immediately. The hosts were just so welcoming and nice to chat with. Felt like home, but right by some amazing beaches with great short walks to explore. Thank you Tatahi.

The owner became very aggressive and rude when we had visitors for the day, standing arguing with me in the doorway, telling me I needed permission to have visitors there. The beds were hard and uncomfortable and pillows very thin. It’s positioned well but that is something you don’t have to do anything about, however you can do something about host service and guest comfort, which in this case is lacking. Definitely over priced and for that I have scored it a poor, if it was better value for money I would have rated it average.
