A pre-booking for our first day in Cromer well organised set and one way system. Local beer was great and food was good too, great staff. The beer was so good we ventured back on Wednesday to the rear car park with an really good service in tents with good seating served by an attentive waiter

Just enjoyed a lovely meal here. The hotel chowder as a starter was excellent with plenty of fish and flavour. I had a smoked fish platter for main which was really interesting, a little different and again full of flavour. Pretty good value, great service and our two dogs were more than welcome. Well worth a visit.

Having booked to stay overnight at Cromer on saturday 17/10/2020 my wife and I visited the Red lion Hotel during Saturday evening for drinks.Due to the Covid regulations seating for drinks was situated outside in the rear car park underneath a large marquee. We were fortunate to get the best table in the car park right next to a giant burner which helped to dispel the cold night air.I ordered our drinks from a serving hatch at the end of the car park from a staff member who also took our contact trace details for Covid.I ordered a pint of Latte stout and Lager for my wife. The drinks were delivered to our table within minutes by a waitress. The stout was excellent. The service throughout the evening was excellent and we had several drinks which were always promptly served with a smile. The atmosphere was very convivial and the area busy with contented drinkers.I must admit that during these strange times my wife and I really enjoyed our evening at the Red Lion snug and cosy at the side of the burner.there were fairy lights inside the marquee to add to the great atmosphere. The pub in question is our favourite in Cromer and serves an excellent selection of real ales.I have never eaten at the Pub but I understand the food is excellent as well.

Stayed here for a night whilst visiting Cromer. Beautiful room over looking the sea. See a seal from our room which was fabulous. A few things that were not great and unfortunately made my review here just average. For £160 a night I would expect my own mini fridge in our room supplying milk to be able to make a hot drink... even if it was small cartons not a jug in a fridge in a hallway to help yourself.... bottles of water which again were in funny looking like recycled bottles. The toilet in the bathroom was very tight with a red hot radiator situated so close..you may wanna look at moving this?! shower pressure wasn’t great Internet/WiFi not existent up in our room. Breakfast was ok.

Lovely furnished and large size of room overlooking the sea. Staff were really friendly and Welcoming of our dog Bailey. Good breakfast and reasonable priced evening food although limited menu. COVID means that the bar is now in the car park with heaters and lights which is a slight shame as having been before it is a lovely evening bar. Will definitely return.
