Myself and my partner have just got back from our first holiday together and we stayed at this hotel. Check in process was very simple and our bags were taken to our room for us which was very nice especially after countless hours of travelling!

We were shown to our room which was amazing, we had air con, a king size bed, walk in shower and balcony. The rooms were cleaned on a daily basis, our do not disturb button did not work properly so housekeeping did come in every morning and it was a quick dash to grab something to cover ourselves with!

The food was ok, it wasn’t the best but it was ok. There could have been a lot more of a variety. People had to wear masks when entering the restaurant, hand sanitised and your temperature will be taken depending on how many staff are working. Masks can be removed when at a table and eating etc. There is a snack bar open from 12:00-17:00, they do chicken Döner wraps, burgers etc which was banging!

The pools were very good and clean, the flumes were a good laugh as well! 3 big pools in total all with sun beds (not enough!!). Talking of sun beds, people would get up at the crack of dawn, reserve sun beds with towels only to return 6 hours later after going out for the day, to use the sun bed for 30-45 mins before going back to their rooms. Very annoying and something that was never challenged by any staff. We ended up just going to the beach most days as we could get a sun bed and enjoy the views.

There is a hairdressers on site as well as a tattoo shop, supermarket, spa centre and jewellers. I had my hair cut at the resort which was very good priced and I highly recommend this hairdressers, they did a cracking job!

Some rooms had a jacuzzi, we decided to get a room upgrade for a night which cost £30
So we could enjoy this for the last night, very good experience. We also spoke to reception and managed to get a late checkout on the day we came home which cost £19-£20, we had the room all day and up until 19:00, worth doing if you have a late flight like we did (23:55 hours).

An all round good hotel, I wouldn’t mind coming back here in the future, it was clean, and just right for a good holiday especially with what is going on in the world at present. The staff could challenge more people about keeping a distance from everyone else at times, such as being in the que for dinner, people will just walk into you (May as well give you a hug as well), to get to dishes rather than just wait like everyone else, as you could imagine they annoyed a lot of people.

I recommend visiting a stall on the beach front, ask for a man called Steve, they will sort out any trips for you such as boat trips. Also a great cocktail bar as you go left from the main hotel entrance called Richards place, 2 for 1 cocktails here, great place!

Thanks for making my first time in Turkey a holiday to remember!

Arrived late within 5 minutes we were back at reception ,the room was small with a small bed , and major housekeeping issues, The night staff were unable to change our room so we had to go back in the morning , we slept on top of the bed . The next morning we went to reception with photographs and we were moved to another room this one was a lot bigger and better.
The food was mainly made up of stews we ate out a few times , there was no ice cream , a young boy sits at the pool near the restaurant next to a slush machine and ice cream cabinet , asks you for 10 lira each , so its cheaper to got to the shop next door on the main street.
You served yourself but there was hand sanitizer on every table so you could clean your hands after using the utensils .
The hotel was full of Russians , they are so rude and greedy
The entertainment was not what we were used to in Turkey ,we miss the sketch shows and there was no fire show either . It was mainly music and karaoke there was one belly dancing show during our stay .
The pools are a good size , we spent most of our time at the beach as it was so hot we needed the breeze.
The beer was good but take your own beaker as they are tiny the cocktails are poor The bar and restaurant staff do work really hard it really annoyed us watching how rude the Russians were.
Check out the Waterfall restaurant along the road from the hotel good food and beautiful surroundings including a little garden with animals.
will stay somewhere else next time

Great cheap holiday – We went for a week and were in Block C, room was modern and huge could have done with more storage space as there is only a wardrobe in a vast room. Check in was easy although you have to pay for the safe. There are no kettles in the room and you can’t hire them I think this is something that could easily be addressed by management. The food is repetitive but always something to eat and the snack bar is great in the day and cheap enough to eat out in the evenings, you get what your paying for and at the end if the day its quite a cheap hotel so can’t expect gourmet.

Due to COVID the sunlongers have had cushions removed and are cleaned every morning however they are not the most comfy but they are plentiful absolutely no issues getting beds even at 11am. The pool area is fab, great for the kids, lots of pools, loads of shade and very clean. Drinks are ok, beer is Tuborg, normal array of spirits and normal mixers I actually enjoyed the rose wine with lemonade. The shop onsite is 24/7 and pretty reasonable in price.

As a short break with the kids after all 2020 has thrown at us, cant complain and for what I paid for my holiday I defiantly feel it was worth the money, I think some people want on here want 5* champagne on shoestring budget. This hotel is central, fun and great for the kids.

We went on the Jeep Safari this was really good for us and kids even the 5 year old but be aware that the food is horrible, pasta, breaded chicken and salad and you have to pay extra for chips and you don’t get this till 14:00 after being on safari at 09:00 so make sure you eats plenty of breakfast plus you don’t get drinks so take some with you but you do stop a few times to buy some

Having holidayed in Turkey for about 9 different times I read previous reviews of this hotel and as usual decided to make up my own mind when I got there........Oh how I wished I had taken notice......Upon arrival at 2.00am we were shown to our cells, erm I mean rooms (1308 and 1310) and were greeted with a quite large lizard running across the floor. We then had to wait about 10 minutes whilst the bellboy preceded to leap around the cell, sorry, room to try to catch said reptile with my wife informing me that there was no way we were going to stay in this hell hole. Joking aside the room was literally not much larger the the double bed inside it. The bathroom and shower was covered in mould and the view from the tiny balcony was of the side alleyway and the air-conditioning units of the neighbouring hotel. We agreed to stay in cell 1308 until the morning whereupon we were told to meet at reception at 9.00 to discus changing the rooms. When we enquired at 8.45am the following morning we were told in no uncertain terms that the hotel was fully booked and that only one of us could change rooms? We could however upgrade both rooms to their 'deluxe' suites for an additional £300 per couple. Sadly and due to the disgusting state of the previous rooms we had no option. Whilst much better than the original rooms allocated we felt that the additional cost really just allowed us to stay in a level of comfort and cleanliness that we would have expected in the first place. For any 'non-believers' or keyboard warriors out there I am happy to upload photographic evidence of the horrendous state of this hotel.

The restaurant was not much better and a vast majority of other guest staying there that we spoke to also decided it would be safer if we all ate out. The choice and quality of the food was abysmal. The bar offerings were also pretty crap. One particular barman handed drinks over with one hand whilst simultaneously 'tapping' the tip box with the other hand. Now we always tip our waiters and usually to the tune of about £80 per couple but since it always seemed too much of an effort for the staff to be nice. Even a smile would have helped. This was our first time in Icmeler as well as our first time staying in a Mirage World hotel. Icmeler itself is a beautiful part of the world and I would not hesitate to come back again, I have never, ever felt like I would not stay a second time at any other hotel I have stayed at until now but to summarise unless you are happy to stay in a room with a multitude of wildlife and that has scratch marks all around the room where people have been trying to swing a cat and you are happy to eat stone cold slops consisting of chicken or fish every single day I would not choose this hotel. The staff are rude (with the exception of the young lady in the pool bar by reception who was the only only to bring a tiny spark of sunshine), the rooms and amenities are filthy, the food poor quality and the poolside loungers are mostly broken.

Some people want to moan for moaning sake. Holidays are to be enjoyed and are a state of mind.
Listening to several people moaning about this hotel in the pool, I thought I was staying in another hotel.
We are regular visitors to Icmeler and picked Mirage World for a 2 week stay as our normal apartment wasn't available. For the priced paid we thought the hotel offered good value. We didn't try the buffet restaurant for an evening meal as we always intended to go out for our evening meal, however we did eat breakfast and lunch at the hotel. The restaurant could do with getting a proper toaster as a panni grill doesn't work. Drinks available provided us with soft drinks, beer, wine spirits tea & coffee whenever we wanted. 3 bars 1 service 10:00 - 17:00 other 2 10:00 to midnight. We had a large room with a spacious bathroom, this was cleaned daily, sheets changed every 2 days and fresh towels every day. Rooms in older blocks are dated and could do with some storage drawers but otherwise no worse than other hotels we have stayed in. All staff were friendly and helpful. If you are pleasant to them they return the same vibe. Maybe the people moaning about rudeness should look at the way they speak to people. The pool areas were kept clean and sunbeds washed down daily. There were a number of sunbeds broken and the sunbeds could have been better if mattresses were provided. Would definitely consider going back to this hotel again if out normal option wasn't available.

Location: beautiful bay, hotel surrounded by picturesque green hills. Dolmushes stop near the hotel (15-20 minutes to Marmaris). The territory of the hotel is large, beautiful, you can always find places near 3 pools.
The beach is 3 minutes away with a lazy step. The only thing, if you want to sunbathe on a lounger, you should take it at 6 in the morning (or rent neighboring ones). The beach is sandy, the water is refreshing and transparent.
The food is typical for hotel - a large selection of vegetables, meat, fish, barbecue, fast food, fruits, wine. Tasty, it's hard to stay hungry. Attentive and polite waiters, strict mask regime in restaurant.
Special praise to the animation team! These friendly, cheerful guys won’t let everyone get bored: dances, contests, water aerobics, darts, tennis etc. On request, transfer to Bar Street.
We checked in late as the hotel was full. Rooms are cleaned daily and of high quality (one day we forgot to leave a tip, while the quality of cleaning remained the same).
Wi-fi is intermittent, but available.
We are definitely satisfied with our rest!

Arrived at 00.45 absolutely knackered. Went to check in which was a bit unnerving as the receptionist obviously wasn't expecting us. We did get a room. A superior room but without the whirlpool we had paid for. Thanks jet2!
We didn't see the rep for the entire 10 days we were there. Apparently she's there at lunch time which isn't particularly helpful.
Anyway the room we got was lovely. I recommend D block top floor. Your bedroom is upstairs giving you more room to move around downstairs. Nice comfy sofa and a TV. Very clean throughout.
The food was very basic. Quite tasteless to be honest. If you're not a fussy eater you can find plenty to eat. The local restaurants are cheap and the food is excellent. We particularly liked Your Place right outside the hotel.
The bars are open 10 am til midnight with local spirits and beers, wines etc. All I can say is that we were well served! You can get snacks (chicken wraps, burgers etc) if you don't want to go to the restaurant for lunch.
The Turkish take their safe tourism certificate very seriously and will fine you £90 if you haven't got a mask on in the street. There is hand sanitiser everywhere and you can only remove your mask if you're eating or drinking in a restaurant. I managed pretty well in the heat. My husband. Not so much.
All in all we had a great ten days holiday. Lovely friendly staff, clean modern room. Would definitely go back!

The hotel is in a great setting surrounded at the rear by mountain forests, however the setting is the best thing about the hotel.

The food can only be described as disgusting! Clearly catering for the Russian guests judging by the stew served for breakfast, some of the guests were incredibly rude! Poor food choice and our party didn’t eat there at all after the first day. I would’ve cried if I didn’t have the money to eat out and wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all unless it was room only.

The rooms were average and in some cases in need of decoration and updating. We had to ask for towels and toilet rolls twice and the room was not thoroughly cleaned at all. We had to ask for one of the beds to be changed as effectively it was a camp bed! There were 3 of us in one room yet only 2 glasses and balcony chairs. The other 2 in the party were in the room next door and they had to request towels 3 times without success, clearly disappointing. We paid extra to keep the room and the staff were knocking more than an hour before we were due to leave wanting us out!

Our whole party felt this hotel particularly catered for Russian guests. There are way better places to stay in Icmeler.

I was very anxious when my original holiday to costa rica was cancelled due to the pandemic, I never really fancied Turkey but after all the additional quarantine measures in the UK we decided to book last minute.

Honestly I was very pleasantly surprised at the size of the hotel and icmeler and Turkey as a whole.

The hotel food was good, with lots of choices available. You may need to be open minded as there were lots of dishes I hadn't tasted before and had no idea what they were but found nearly all dishes I tried were flavoursome.

Restaurants outside the hotel are amazing and very reasonable, so well worth leaving the resort and trying some local restaurants. Most do food followed by entertainment so don't rush off after eating as you'll miss out on the whole experience. Richards, Venice, majestic and the steak restaurant opposite friends bar are great for food (we had 3 x calamari , garlic bread, fillet steak, a huge 48 oz chateaubriand, 2 x carbonara, 5 ice creams and a couple of drinks each for less than £100!) and daisy dance bar is a lively party atmosphere with waiters dancing.

The rooms are a decent size (we stayed in one on the main path by the shops with a jacuzzi upgrade. The biggest downside to the rooms (and actually the holiday as a whole) is that the walls in these rooms might as well not be there! One size were party animals playing loud music until the early hours (although the staff did have complaints from other guests apparently and asked them to keep it down, and they did) and the other was a crying child from early every morning (this cant be helped, but as the walls are so thin they sound like they're in your room). You can hear literally everything! The Aircon works great, but it is a little temperamental and seems to get colder early morning for no reason so I got some extra blankets from reception.

The hotel staff are generally very helpful and attentive but special thanks to the animation team who looked after us from day 1. Alex, cemra (I think that's how you spell her name) and mustafa were amazing but Chris and Cobra will have a special place in our hearts forever, they are such beautiful people that could not do enough for us ♥. Not just with what i would consider their jobs, but on more of a friend/personal level, generally caring about our feelings checking we were happy and showing interest in learning about our family and lives at home etc. They showed us around icmeler when they had a couple of hours spare and didn't complain once. We would defintely come back, especially for the fantastic animation team. They are worth their weight in gold and should definitely be paid what they are worth as they made our holiday so enjoyable and memorable, it would not have been as good without them!

Nice hotel and pool area, people on the bar dishing out drinks in disposable cups were on the whole friendly. Rooms are basic but liveable.
The food in my opinion was inedible, we tried a breakfast and a lunch and eat out for the rest of the fortnight we were there, nothing was labelled and the quality was poor. The Russian and Ukrainian guests who made up the majority of the scrum at mealtimes lapped it up. The pool areas are well maintained but be prepared to be constantly mithered by the resident hair salon and on site Turkish Bath with the latter to be avoided. The usual sunbed scramble was made much more interesting as 70% of them were cracked and broken.
The on site Jewellery shop and 24 hour supermarket were fantastic and we made full use of them.
We will be returning to Icmelar next year but not in this newly annexed part of the red empire.
