Predominantly a Russian hotel so English tourists are not a priority. Staff have attitudes, food is inedible, no snack bar, no easy access to water during silent hours, no lifeguard for the pool and no entertainment.

I know I was lucky to still get away but I wish I had read the reviews before I booked (it was not linked into the website I booked through). In my opinion, this is not an All Inclusive hotel as anything apart from the slop they serve in the restaurant, you have to pay for. They have shut the snack bar due to Covid but then allow the sale of corn & popcorn around the pool. They constantly ran out of Vodka in the bars and would not go above the quota of bottles dictated by management.

Be careful if you have booked here as the hotel seems to charge you for everything. I was lucky with my room but another 4 English families were all given rooms that did not have enough beds and then charged them for upgrades. Wifi is additionally charged, safe is charged, snacks are charged and even freshly squeezed oranges are chargeable in the restaurant - anything to get more money out of you. There is even a shop at the pool that sells drinks and snacks!

There was no entertainment apart from some music through the speakers which was on a loop and repeated about 3-4 times a day and was said to be down to Covid yet other hotels and bars had entertainment. They had aqua aerobics in the pool and had people massaging each other which clearly does not align with social distancing!

We had to move our own tables and chairs outside on an evening so that we could enjoy an evening drink and we had to put them back at the end of the night. There was limited aircon working in the hotel so you needed to sit outside on an evening but there was no lighting so you ended up sitting in the dark.

All in all, it is a fabulous location with some lovely bars and restaurants close by and a bus stop right outside that goes to Alanya, but the hotel is one of the worst AI ones I have ever stayed in. If you want a really cheap place to stay and will be eating out and visiting places, then this may appeal, but if you are on a tight budget, I would pay a bit more for another hotel as It will work out cheaper in the long run.

Not a 4 star hotel and I will not be staying here again.

First of all ignore all the precious English ppl who probably paid a fifth of a price they would for 5 star hotel, but still expect 5 star service.

No you don't get 10 course (different) meal every day served to your table, 3 infinity pools and champagne for lunch.

You get what you paid for. 3 meals a day where I think selection is basic but perfectly edible (rice, pasta, meat, salad, starter etc), room that gets cleaned daily, decent pool with 3 slides, 5 min walk to a beach with private sunbeds.

Judging by my 2 kids (3 and 5) I couldn't get them out of the pool and they were ok with the food, I would say it was a success.

Overall, more like a 3 star hotel and by no means perfect, but decent enough to have a good family time if you are the sort of person(s) that don't tend to complain about a colour of the sky...

I travled with a friend. We were to girls and didn’t felt safe at the hotel. The hotel staff always asked us questions and kept running after us, so that was very uncomfortable. We understand that men ask you questions when you go away from the hotel, but at the hotel you should feel safe and we didn’t. It was very hard to communicate in English and we even had to use translate, since the hotel staff just spoked Russian or Dutch. The hotel rooms was not clean at all. We used flip flops in the shower and it is something that should not happen in a hotel that have 4 stars. The only thing they cleaned everyday was the floor in your room and they took your garbage otherwise everything else was dirty. The food at the hotel is awful. We stayed there for a week and it was always the same food that didn’t even tasted good. When you asked someone about what they are serving, you didn’t get your answer. The plates was also dirty sometimes and that is a bad sign too. We had to go to the restaurant nearby to eat that we had to pay extra for, and the only thing we heard was that they often have guests from Arabella World Hotel. The pool team was not that bad but they didn’t respect when you said no to join there games and that is not that comfortable as well, when you just want to relax at the pool. The only positive thing is that the beach is only 5-10 min walk from the hotel so that is the only thing that’s nice. The hotel should have more like 2 stars not 4. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Do not touch this hotel we arrived at the hotel at 3:30am in the morning and took us to our room to find we had one double bed to 2 adults and 2 children after asking where the beds were he said this is the room you get for a standard room which is absolutely shocking so we asked if a bed could be brought up for the children just to sleep on for the night as we were all tired and bought the bed up to find it was filthy and had vile marks which was over the mattress along with little holes all over which was not suitable for a child to sleep on the bed look like it was going to collapse asked the hotel to move our room was told no rooms as speaking to other guests in the hotel who were English and found they all had the same issue and had to pay to upgrade to change the rooms even though the rooms we booked were family suitable rooms and told we didn’t. Food is absolutely awful a lot of people are eating out at local restaurants due to the food being not edible also there is no family entertainment on the evening which leaves you to find going out to find something to do on the evening. Do not touch this hotel they don’t English and don’t accommodate for the English they can’t speak very good English neither.

We stayed here for a week. We were 3 families. The reviews before we came started to put us off but on arrival we were happy.
The staff are friendly and nice however they just don’t speak English which can cause problems. Our room was upgraded however we were only given one key per family which soon became annoying and we kept having to get the caretaker to let us in at night as to not wake up the family. The pool is small but does the job.
Food and drink is where this hotel really lets themselves down. Breakfast being the worst and lunch and dinner main courses are not great and the salad bars have not changed in a week. We have spent most of the time eating out and buying our own drinks as the wine was terrible.
As I was writing this review I had to go report a stool but the side of the pool which was on top of the water drains. When I asked if the pool will be closed and clean I got a simple answer that will be cleaned tonight! For this I am changing my review from 3.5 to a 1!

Currently here at present for 10 days with my family of ten. From the off we have been treated like crap . It is a Russian hotel nobody speaks English. No offer of water on arrival. Taken to wrong rooms . Air conditioning doesnt work shower floods. Drinks are served in a paper cups one mouth full so if you want a large drink you have to go to the shop and by a glass and tip them to fill it. We bought our own glasses then they were removed from our rooms There is no entertainment or kids club the food is inedible unless you love vegetables and watery scrambled egg for breakfast. And do not get trips from the reps they scare you because of Covid into booking with them and it was 45 pound an adult for a boat trip which was up and down a river. In alanya we paid 9pound for an amazing boat trip.currently fighting to get a refund.
Poor internet in lobby only otherwise 5 pound for 5 days.
Alanya it's self is running pretty much as usual and out of the hotel food ect is lovely and very cheap .
I never moan especially during Covid but English are not welcome at this hotel at all. Tried to change hotel and wasn't able and even considering cutting loses and flying home early.

I’ve just got back from an amazing holiday in Turkey at the Arabella World Hotel. After reading the reviews I was a little bit concerned but I can tell you that our experience was nothing like this and we had a fantastic holiday. Our room was lovely and clean, with pool and sea views, not bad for a standard room. The facilities were excellent, my kids loved the pool and the slides, which we used every day. The food was fine for the money we paid, most days we would eat from the outside BBQ And have omelettes or pancakes for breakfast (I’m a vegetarian so this suited me). Please ignore the rude comments about the food, the cuisine was international and if you stick to pasta, salads and the BBQ you will be fine. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Ozzie in the shop. The spa was very good and I enjoyed a Turkish spa and several massages. The beach is a ten minute walk from the hotel and is absolutely stunning, you can get free non alcoholic drinks here. We are hoping to go back to the hotel soon and have another holiday, it was superb value for money!

Not for the English. We was the only couple there everyone else was Russian or German. The food was terrible we had to budget and just eat out every night and use the supermarket round the corner called bams which is really good value for money. We also found a little restaurant round the corner near bams called garden bar and restaurant they are very good value for money the most we payed was £25 for 2 people. We also walked up to a little village about 15/20 mins away where there are shops and restaurants. The hotel was clean and some staff very helpful and polite where others were not. We wouldn’t go back but it wasn’t the worse holiday ever the food just let it down.

Would not recommend if your only language is English, mostly German hotel guests and the food is also catered for that region along with the entertainment being mostly in Turkish and German. Beach is definitely further than I imagined it would be and the loud music played by the hotel and the hotel behind is extremely loud till very late at night so wouldn’t suit light sleepers especially as the hotel sits on a very loud busy road. There is virtually no kids club and even though all “ “inclusive” the bar closes at 11.30pm and nobody really knows how to make a cocktail unless it’s in a pre-made bottle and they add sprite to further water them down . Food is not available 4pm-7pm and then again after 9pm-7am unless you count midnight soup? Also ice cream and kids snack are charged at all events and by swimming pool.
WiFi is also 4euros a day for a single device and have to pay extra for any other device.
Taxis around this area are also very pricey the nearest pharmacy is around 12min walk and a 3min drive this would cost around 20euro but that’s not the hotels fault.
I do have to say the entertainment staff even though mostly spoke in just Turkish are very enjoyable and did a great job with the mini kids dances and making it fun at the swimming pool and if it wasn’t for them the hotel would be getting a much lower rating. The older gentlemen at reception is very unhelpful however and kind of brushes any pleas for advice or help with any situation

Me and my wife booked a last minute holiday 2 weeks before we went I seen Arabella world it was reasonable priced for 11 days in October and we had been there twice before so we knew what it was like . All I payed was 770 all inclusive for 11 days what is very good. Nice big rooms clean ours this time was on the second floor in the round building. Food is not brilliant we found the food was better for us in the outside bit we always found something. You can drink beer or any drink from 11 to 11 . To get to the beach you have to walk out of the hotel turn left then under the subway turn right and walk about 200m down that road until u see there sign. There is a bar you can have soft drinks free but have to pay for the beer then above the bar is a snack bar you can have chips burger chicken nuggets or you can walk back to the hotel to have lunch. Breakfast is 730 to 10 the same as before the better food is outside omelettes fried eggs pancakes. The woman chief was ok the man chief didn’t like making omelettes so had to make him so he wasn’t happy. Every Wednesday there is a market turn right out the hotel then turn right walk down that little street then turn left and u can see it up the road you can get better bargains in the market than in the shops. If you want to walk to the shops and restaurants in the night you can walk the same way as the market there is loads of shops and restaurants down there or you can turn left then under the subway turn left and there is more shops there. If you want to go to alanya to left under subway then left u can catch the bus there to alanya central takes about 25 mins costs 2 euro there is loads of shops and restaurants there and if you want to go to manavgat where there is a massive market it takes all day to walk round it with plenty of bartering and bargains you can catch the bus right outside the hotel entrance or walk down the road there is a bus stop it costs 1 euros 70 to go there it drops you off at the bus station to get to the market just walk straight up the road it takes about 10 to 15 mins then for going back walk back to the same place show your wrist band and he will stop at the hotel. If you want to get something from a shop there is a little shop turn right out of hotel turn right again there is a shop that sells most things there. All in all for the price the hotel is not bad there is not a lot of choice for food it’s best to get in there early not late to get the best food but we would definitely go again as the hotel is very clean and value for money where can you go anywhere for 770 for to people all inclusive sun sea and loads of free beer.
