Wonderful location right on the Avenida Mediterranean. One way traffic and peaceful past front of hotel - right by the sea and overlooking the beautiful bay. Room we had basic but comfy. Anything you needed was bought to your room immediately. Food and drinks were lovely and breakfast included. Staff were absolutely fantastic - friendly professional and welcoming. Always happy and smiling and willing to help. Really cannot speak highly enough of them. Had a 2 week stay and we were so sad to leave. Given a big picnic breakfast to take with us as had to leave before breakfast. Had dinner and drinks there which was lovely and the pool area was so nice to have. Wonderful all round.

Room Tip: Weekend obviously busier but not a problem - if car park gets full then roads nearby to park at.

Cannot fault this hotel other than wish they had tea or coffee (kettle) in the bedrooms ( a minor personal gripe) but to me the staff are the selling point could not praise them highly enough everyone is so friendly and welcoming honestly the staff are superb, The Hotel is also well positioned in Javea , lovely lunch at the pool honestly just a great clean welcoming hotel what else could you ask for except maybe a coffee in your bedroom ? Will return again Thank you for making our stay so welcoming

My husband and I spent 5 nights at Hotel Sol earlier this month and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It's perfectly situated a short walk away from both the Arenal and the Port with easy access to bars and restaurants. Our room was very modern, clean and tastefully decorated. Whilst a bit on the small side, it was perfectly adequate and had an amazing sea view. The breakfast choices were excellent and tasted delicious. We just wish we'd been staying for longer to work our way through the menus, which alternated every other day. The staff were amazing - friendly, helpful and professional. Nothing was too much trouble. There's also a lovely little pool area, which we made use of on a few occasions. It was never very busy but that might change in high season. Next time we're back in Javea, we'll definitely be booking another stay at this amazing little hotel.

This hotel is fantastic. It’s chilled and peaceful. The staff are brilliant especially Joel. Nothing is too much trouble . The breakfast was great even though the hotel was full there was no problem being served . The pool area is great . The view from our balcony was lovely and I recommend getting a room with a sea view. The hotel is central for the arenal and the port. The rooms are clean and the showers are hot . Every amenity you want is provided. The rooms are not big but adequate. I have nothing negativity to say.

The staff here are very friendly and helpful. Couldn’t have been more helpful when we checked in. Amazing sunrise. Right from the balcony or even the bed. Lovely bright, clean room. Short stroll to bars and restaurants. Would definitely come back here when it’s warmed up a bit to make use of the pool. An added bonus was being given a packed breakfast as we had an early flight. Really kind and thoughtful staff to do this without any prior arrangement.

We stayed at this hotel last week . It was only meant to be for 2 nights , but we decided to spend all 6 nights of our holiday . The staff are absolutely fantastic , they can't do enough for you ! The room was clean & very comfortable , the shower was so good I took 2 each day ! Breakfast was included in the price of the room , do not skip the breakfast at this hotel . It's amazing , great choice of dishes . Location of this hotel is great , only 5 mins walk to the Arenal beach & promenade . 15 min walk in the other direction leads you to the port . Parking is on site which is a bonus . All I can say is a huge thank you to all of the staff for making our stay so great . We will definitely be visiting this hotel again , even though we have a property in this area . Darren & Louise

We are currently on our mini-moon and very dissatisfied with this hotel. We have a fridge that isn’t a fridge but a mini bar which doesn’t keep anything cold so my husbands insulin may be rendered as useless, this morning there was no hot water, the door to the balcony is missing a handle and to cap it all we have just come up from breakfast to find ants. Even though the hotel is not busy when asking for a different room we have been told that all the rooms are the same. This is not somewhere we will stay again, back to the Parador next time we are in Javea

After a hiccup with the first room offered, which was far too small, we were moved to a very decent room with sea view, lots of space, large bed and sofa with easy chair and desk. The bathroom was large and very well appointed. Everywhere was very clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was good and plentiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful, bringing ice buckets for wine we had brought with us and for a very early they provided a selection of croissants and cheese and ham sandwiches for eating at the airport.

Last week we have visited the Hotel Sol for 7 nights. Aft one night we could change to a seafront room with balcony. If you can book these rooms and not gardenview rooms. The rooms are not very big, but well equiped. But for us the staffmembers are key to the succes of this hotel. Very kind, understanding and professional. A special thank to Aurora and Neus for their excellent service. The rooms were cleaned to perfection by the kind housekeeping staff. The ladyboss with Mercedes S, worked as hard as possible during breakfast. She is an example for the other staff members. We can recommend this hotel in Javea. Close to the beach area and port. Thank you all.

Reception - STINKS of SEWER..... an incredibly sickly smell throughout my entire stay. when challenging staff over how this will be resolved, a shrug of the shoulders, and an i don't care attitude. Food is literally from a freezer, and confirmed by the waiting staff, dressed up to look presentable, but poorly prepared and never ate there again. Breakfast was equally poor, a poor selection of cold meets that simply look way past there sell by date, chopped fruits that look like they were on special at the market because again of their sell by date. good coffee, but no bins or anywhere to put your spoons, sugar and coffee wrappings... so the place is constantly having to be cleaned.. this is no 4 star Hotel the english breakfast is quite simply an embarrassment, and have no idea what a sausage or bacon looks like. the room is ok, nothing like the pictures, a time double room, with a balcony that is so narrow that only two small plastic garden chairs fit.. The bathroom is shocking, you take a seat on the toilet, and smack ya head on the sink, you get up off the loo and smack ya head in the sink.. there are no shelves or cupboards for your personal items, and the hotel is so cheap, that the toothbrush glasses, are glasses, there so light and plastic, that everything then falls on the floor. cupboard doors don't open properly, and the sliding patio door, not only get jammed, squeaks so loud, you can actually hurt yourself trying to slide it open or closed.... mini bar isnt a mini bar, its a poorly powered fridge with two bottles of water..... Reception says its 24/7 and please do not hesitate to ask them if you need anything... unless its after 10PM and you want a soft drink.. its not possible... then the staff argue with you. EVERYONE NEEDS A LESSON IN GOOD MANORS AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. Reception today asked me to pay in full today, i have three days left of my scheduled stay, i refused to do so as i had already paid 1000e to the hotel on my arrival. i don't think they understand fully the terms and conditions of their own employer, and refused to pay in full this morning.... the receptionist then said that i will then have to leave the hotel! In all my 30 years travel and Hotel stays, I have never been insulted so much as i have here in the Hotel Sol De Javea, and feel while i want this review to go higher up the chain, it will simply be ignored. the POOL is more like a paddling pool, and the car parking is organised chaos.... STAY AWAY FROM SOL DE JAVEA and find elsewhere
