The hotel facilities were nice and our room was very good with nice views. However, there were very surprising mistakes in the service: they decided to change my name in the bill and they forgot one restaurant reservation. The manager of the hotel did her best to solve cases, but the hassle was so bad tasting it was difficult understand.
We have stayed at the Marriott many times over the past 10-12 years and it has always been a pleasure to stay here. In 2019 the hotel had had a make-over whereby the rooms, the lobby and the restaurant have been modernised making sure the hotel would meet the new standards. This stay was probably the best of all the stays in the Marriott. The staff is excelent, the rooms are big and offer all the confort you could wish for. We really enjoyed our stay and will certainly come back (again).
Another great stay at the Marriott hotel .the food in mongo restaurant and Thai restaurant was excellent.breakfast very good.the rooms were clean and the staff where charming.I believe that this hotel as a 5star is great value for money will be back in October Richard W
I enjoyed the stay. nice Golf course (a bit neglected comparing courses around) and WONDERFUL golf area TEAM... thank You for that. but it wasn't the 5stars quality in the hotel. the weakest point? poor breakfast. We had been there 10 days, after 3 days "they were out" of sunflower seeds; pumpkin seeds; chocolate flakes ... and every day till the very end of my stay, so over a week, I was told they are out of those. eggs? I asked for an omelet (i tried every day !) not from the tetra liquid, as I can not eat such products. I have asked for 2 eggs a day! did they have the eggs? yes, but they were not allowed to do it for me... yes, I could have fried egg :) where's the difference? tell me! please! unfortunately, I just do as it is fried in oil, so having the best SUITE with breakfast included, I could not have any of the 2 breakfasts I eat. It was not so complicated to make me a happy guest. don't you think? SPA is old and needs urgent renovation. We only went once as we didn't feel comfortable in there, although the weather was just for the SPA. (watch out for the sauna flor, made of stone, hot! will burn your feet, but you cannot use flip-flops) and the external pool has no heated water. My room was good. Spacious, Clean, We had a good view... (You need the garden/golf view, in order to be happy with it) The staff (out of the breakfast area ) was really nice, helpful, and open to doing all they can. The reception was stunning! Good job with this division. housekeeping stuff is good too. The manager wasn't available when we needed to talk about things we dislike so much, too bad. Maybe my review would be all different, if only we had gotten his attention when needed. Do I recommend it? Well, yes, try it, you don't have a much better option in the area anyway :) I do hope my review will help them to correct some details, as I will need to be there from time to time.. :)…
We, a group of 4 golfers from Ireland, first visited this golf course in 2017 and it very quickly became one of our favourites for our trips to Spain We visited on the 2nd April this year and were thoroughly disappointed with the condition of the course, There appeared to be some flood damage and this was very extensive with the result that there was little or no grass on many fairways and indeed green, which were hard as concrete, The 18th green in particular was completely unplayable , What annoyed us most was the fact that there was no mention of the condition of the course when we were checking in. If we had been advised we may have revised our plans. We did cancel our planned second visit. It is a crying shame that such a beautiful and well designed course has been allowed to deteriorate to such an degree.…
Our second visit, to this lovely hotel situated between Denia and Javea with Jesus de Pobre within walking distance. We spent a week in the hotel, and then three weeks in La Sella Residences apartments. Both have a great level of accommodation. Guest relations Manager Henriette ensures high levels of guest satisfaction, assisted by the lovely Marina and Cristina at reception, who were also great during our stay. We will be back and recommend a stay here, Thank-you.
Great hotel .. rooms are modern enough with very comfortable beds. excellent staff who are all very accommodating and attentive. Breakfast is really good with plenty of choice. Only downside was the room was quite hot and the air conditioning just blew one temperature. But all in all and nice place to stay and well placed for Denia or Xabia. We’ll done Marriot !
This hotel is wonderfully managed with all staff friendly and helpful. The superior room we were is is beautifully appointed in its simplicity. It meant it was spacious with good wardrobe facilities. The bathroom was spacious and the walk-in shower with cascade shower head really excellent. The lounge and roof top terrace facilities on the 1st floor were really lovely. The breakfast room was bright spacious and well attended by the staff. The choices if hot and cold food was excellent and constantly replenished. The Nespresso coffee machine meant wonderful espresso with hot milk available and with three machine, unlike other hotels I have stayed in, no queuing for coffee. All in all a wonderful relaxed stay. Add to that, my partner, a runner found the running around this hotel really great. Hope to return soon.…
Excellent service, great room and good food. We can not find anything wrong with this hotel and it’s most friendly staff. For sure I would recommend this place even to family and friends. Of course especially nice for golfers since the hotel is adjacent to the golf course with the same name.
INCREDIBLE HOTEL! If I could have given 10 stars I would have. Cannot recommend this hotel enough - it is not only superb in terms of facilities, ambience, location and style but its staff make it a really special place to visit. Rooms are stylish and modern with really comfy beds and ample towels/ lovely smelling toiletries and free daily water/ hand gel! Pool area is much better after the renovations of a few years ago - with ample, high quality sun beds and space to relax. The pool areas are overseen by Ismael and Moad who always greet you with a smile and happy to chat - nothing it too much trouble for them and they are a credit to the hotel. There is a good sized pool bar area with a great menu. Karim is a real asset here. The breakfast is amazing! Full range of full English, continental choices, egg station overseen by the wonderful Nadia, plentiful fruit and delicious pastries all laid out with good flow and friendly staff quickly and efficiently clearing and laying tables. Nancy is fab! The hotel overlooks some stunning scenery as well as the beautiful golf course. Reading some of the (few) negative reviews makes us wonder if they stayed at the same hotel as us! Never had a bad experience at this hotel and we’ve been staying here for over 15 years! Absolutely outstanding hotel!…
