We’ve just had a five night break in Denia at the Hotel Nou Roma. Such a lovely little hotel, tucked away in a side street, on site parking was available and is needed. The room was modern, clean and comfortable. The dining area outside is a little courtyard, some of it covered, with trees and plants growing all around, a lovely ambiance. There is inside dining should you prefer. Breakfast buffet was very good and we took advantage of the evening meal deal, which was also well prepared and authentic. The staff were very friendly and helpful, not speaking much Spanish ourselves and them not much English we muddled our way through and they were so polite and kind. The hotel is located a couple of streets from the town and we ventured in for drinks in the evening. The beach is a good 15 minute walk if you want to cool off in the water, the hotel does not have a pool. There are boat trips from the harbour and the Castle is worth a look around. All in all a great visit.…
I have been here several times, during almost all times of the year and in different parts of the hotel. The stay has always been enjoyable; the rooms are comfortable (and most of the have a fridge), the staff is accommodating, and the breakfast is delicious. The hotel offers parking (although the spaces are limited, to ask beforehand) at a nice price, and has a beautiful patio as well as restaurant service. Whenever we've encountered any problems, the staff have done their best to help, and I have never left with a complaint. The location is also great, close by dining, cafés and shops, as well as the old castle, and you don't have to go far to enjoy the beach or go on walks.
Wonderful from the moment we arrived, and our dinner (€20) was superb. Very central but in the older part of town. Necessary to pay for parking as nowhere in the nearby streets, but would otherwise definitely highly recommend
Fabulous hotel in old town Denia. Close to everywhere in Denia. Lovely ambience, comfortable bedrooms with massive bathrooms (we had 4 rooms in total). Staff could not do enough for us. Breakfasts are enormous and fabulous! Quality of food in the restaurant (La Spania) is incredible and so are the wines. Well Done Nou Roma!
We stayed at the Nou Roma hotel in old city for 2 nights and enjoyed it so much we wanted to extend our stay. Their accommodating staff got us another night in a nearby apartment—that was wonderful—but we were homeless over the busy weekend. Gracious front desk clerk Sophie found us another hotel near the beach for 2 more nights, the Hotel Daniya, another great option. The spirit of hospitality is strong in Denia, especially with Sophie and all the professional staff at this great boutique hotel.
Was hard to find this hotel as it is all one way streets and no place to park if your GPS takes you to the actual address. There is a bigger street and an actual carpark on a different street. No one was at reception when we arrived and saw a cleaner and asked them. Took about 15 minutes to show up, in that time a couple of tradies arrived and were waiting as well. We stayed in the annex, very nice room, modern, nice space and quiet. Breakfast was AMAZING! So much to choose from, so well presented and very fresh. Location was ok. We didn't pay to park in their car park so parked in the main street (free all day). The area immediately around the hotel is nothing wow. Short walk to harbour through a cool tunnel and then you re in the middle of everythng.
This delightful hotel is set in the old town of Denia. It is well appointed with excellent facilities, comfortable and spacious rooms, and a charming courtyard garden. The food served in the dining room is of a high standard and the staff are most obliging. There is also parking available at an additional cost of €10 per night. Thoroughly recommend this hotel.
A second visit to this hotel in the old Denia town, following a great stay last year. Beautifully clean, modern rooms with a Spanish style. A small hotel with a personal touch. The staff are all friendly and helpful. Breakfast is taken in a beautiful open courtyard and is typically Spanish in its flavour. If I was to make a constructive criticism to the management, more fruit and choices of yogurt would be welcome. But this was a minor matter. It's a hotel that is suited to adults, rather than children, but this suited is fine.
We stayed at Hotel Nou Roma for nights on a Bed and Breakfast basis. The hotel was very clean and tidy. Our room was in the annex on the ground floor and although on the small side it was clean, modern and well equipped. The breakfast was great, the staff were constantly topping up items and ensuring the freshness of the food items. The location of the hotel is perfect which 100's of bars and restaurants within a short walk. The carpark is tight but worth the 10 euors per night cost as it is a bit of a nightmare parking in the area. I would definitely return and recommend for a short break, just a pity there is no pool.
Arrived at this hotel and was pleasantly surprised. From the outside it appears to look quite historic. Once inside you are surprised by the decor, furnishings and rooms. Good restaurant offering an amazing breakfast and also evening meals. Good car parking facilities on site. Very close to local bars and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.
