Zach at the front desk was incredible! Our waiter was incredible, but I don't remember his name. It's the second time we've had him and we will request him again. The food was delicious! Overall amazing experience! I have already booked three rooms for March 27th :-)

Colonial Inn has a cozy feel. It is not modern, but that is what makes it so charming - includes fireplaces, antique furniture and the food in the restaurant was delicious. I had everything I could need or want and the employees were more than genuinely friendly and accommodating. I will be returning for sure.

This COVID-thing has me going stir crazy here at home. I needed to see some different scenery without having to leave the state. Concord was just great because we could go outside to walk around the downtown area and drive over to the North Bridge, Walden Pond and the DeCordova Sculpture Park in Lincoln and be outside in order to socially distance. We loved the Concord Bookstore downtown. We stayed just one night at the inn. The staff was great. Because of the slow season, I think they were thrilled to see guests. We stayed in rooms 205 and 206 in the Prescott Wing. I wish we had been able to get 206 and 207 because there are connecting doors between these two rooms. We had our two teenage kids in 206 because it has two double beds. Room 205 is rather small with one queen, and because of its size, it heats up very easily. Because of the hotel’s age, it doesn’t have individual heating units for each room. It runs on a boiler system, and so there are radiators in the rooms which can’t be individually controlled. So we had to run the AC in the middle of winter because the room was so warm. You don’t want to open the ancient single-paned windows in 205 because it’s right next to the road. Both bathrooms in 205 and 206 look great by the renovations they’ve obviously had. But be forewarned, the bathrooms aren’t very large, either—only have room for shower stalls: no tub. If I were to make a recommendation to the hotel for upgrades, it would be to invest in new windows. I noticed that there was cold air leaking in through those single-paned windows in room 205. But with a building with that many windows, it would be a hefty investment.
