Stayed for just one night recently but arrived to find the hotel closed. To be fair , check in was listed as 3pm onwards and one of the receptionists very kindly let me in to dump my odious rucksack. Having two hours to spare, I went to a couple of local terraces and wandered around the town a little. I understand that it is the capital of Apple production in Asturias. I found it a little rough around the edges, but the centre of town was charming and some very lovely historic buildings. The room was first floor, large and on the corner. No air con in my room , but not needed. Reception were very smiley and kind. I’d stay again and recommend to others

A little oldfashioned, but very nice and with well-equipped rooms. We had a room facing the street, but it was not noisy. Bathroom was also very clean, bright and delicate. Nice and helpful staff made us feel very welcom. The hotel is in the city-center, has a bar and a restaurant. We were late for lunch, but was told it was very good and with generous portions. Breakfast was also ok, a small and nice buffet.

We are cycling our way from santander to santiago and we were very happy when we arrived at this hotel. The staff we met (2 sisters) were delightful and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and the location of this hotel in the village is great. We really enjoyed villaviciosa itself and would definitely stay here again.

Would highly recommend this hotel. Excellently priced and the brother and sister duo could not have been more helpful to us offering us advice on our Camino trip. They went out of their way for us booking hotels In advance for us and arranging a taxi to take our rucksacks to our next destination .Comfortable and clean bedroom with bathroom. Oonagh and Damien

I've stayed here twice this year. Good price (about £40 per night). Nice traditional room. Powerful shower. Good wifi connection in rooms. Location is great too - right in the centre of Villa but still quiet at night (Blackpool it aint!).
