My family and I were in Atlanta for the Stray Kids concert at State Farm Arena. We chose the Embassy Suites as we are Hilton members and it was close to the arena. Unfortunately the band had to postpone the concert due to some members developing Covid. We contacted the hotel about checking out a day early. This started at the front desk where the lady we dealt with was very rude and categorically stated no if you check out early you will be charged for the duration of your booking. As I was walking away she made faces at me which was seen by other customers. I was not rude to the lady nor was I at any point during our interaction angry in any way. That she chose to try to demean me by making faces shows the lack of respect this hotels employees shows it’s customers. I next contacted the hotel through the HHonors app and again made the same request to check out early due to the concert being cancelled. I informed the hotel we would be back in Atlanta when the band rescheduled the concert and that our intention would be to stay in the hotel again upon our return. I ended up dealing with Murray the Ops Manager whose attitude towards customers was exactly the same as his front desk colleague. I ended up dealing with Hilton Honors Diamond customer service who were extremely helpful and reimbursed most of the points I used for the booking. Im sure Murray and the lady at the front desk thought they were doing the right thing by charging the extra night as booked. I understand that had there been no reason for checking out early then bookings may not be able to change but as our concert had been postponed I would have thought the hotel could show some empathy towards loyal Hilton customers but sadly in this case it was not to be. All Murray and his colleagues succeeded in was getting the extra night charge and not getting any return or repeat business from this customer. We will choose a different hotel on our return to Atlanta. The hotel itself is fine, the room was reasonable, breakfast was ok and the location great. It’s the staff who made this a 1 star experience.…
We waited a little bit to get checked in as this is a very busy hotel on the weekends but it was an absolute wonderful experience. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful . Checked in as a party of six with children and everything was on point. Clean, breakfast wonderful and the breakfast staff was so kind and fast despite the long line. The pool is on the second floor and it was really nice also. Great location didn’t need our car to have fun and eat. I definitely recommend
Arrive at my room and found stuff on the floor and very noise we couldnt even sleep of to check out the next day and lose our money because our check out was the Monday. Im still waiting to back my holding fee
The check-in staff and valets were extremely accommodating despite it being a very busy time of day. The check-in staff took great care of us. This kind of service makes a huge difference for people travelling with multiple kids
My trip started rocky when I discovered the lack of cleanliness of my room. Erin, a manager stepped in and made Embassy’s wrongs right! She went above and beyond to make sure that my stay was pleasant. Thank you,Erin!!!
Our family of 5 was very comfortable in our suite and pleased with the hotel amenities. Food options at breakfast were plentiful and staff very accomodating. Also enjoyed the nightly drink/snack reception. Hotel staff checked in with us daily via text to make sure we didn't have any questions/concerns. I had to call house keeping 2x during our stay. Both times they were there within 10 minutes. Only complaint was there's not a family-friendly restaurant in the hotel. I know this property probably caters to alot of business travelers but most average American families cannot afford to eat at Ruth Chris Steak House. There are not alot of other family-friendly restaurant options within walking distance of the hotel. Other than that can't beat the location. Georgia Aquarium a block away, Centinnel Park, World of Coke, College Football Hall of Fame across the street. …
This was our second stay at this hotel. We love the location; it’s close to so many attractions and restaurants. We love the size of the rooms. Everything is nice, clean and quiet. The only complaint I have about this stay was the location of our room. We were in room 447. It was a “premium” corner suite. The suite itself was amazing! The corner suite is larger than the regular suites, but we had no view at all. The view out our bedroom window was a tree. If we had been on a higher floor, the view would’ve been wonderful. I thought that a “premium” room would’ve been a room with a good view, so that was really disappointing. We will stay here again, but next time I will not book online, I will call and be specific about what I want.
The rooms were very spacious and clean! This is one of the best hotels I’ve visited because it’s walking distance from every museum and features hotel breakfast. The views from the hotels and the elevators are fantastic.
We were welcomed to check in early as long as our room was clean. The room was nice and clean and we checked in two hours early. All staff we encountered was kind and friendly especially Dariana, Andrea, and Liz. They had a big breakfast every morning with a variety of foods. Would definitely stay here again
I booked a last minute room for MomoCon and my stay was great. The hotel staff and valet were impeccable. I suggest dinner elsewhere as Ruth's isn't great on customer service, and unless you start with a manager, you won't get treated well. Other than that, there are many options for breakfast, lunch and dinner with beautiful views abound.
