Excellent value for money, especially in Cambridge. Rooms are clean and good. I slept like a baby, no neighbours or traffic noise (despite being close to a busy street), breakfast was basic but good. I‘ve stayed in far worse hotels for far higher prices. I will be back.
Don’t let the view fool you, this place is a great value for Boston. Clean modern rooms, friendly staff, and significantly cheaper than other brand hotels in the area. It’s a great room in general, but a phenomenal room for the price. It is right in the edge of where Cambridge turns industrial so the neighborhood looks sketchy, but I assure it is not. I walked to and from my work on Main Street daily, with no issues. My only complaints is that it’s just far enough off the beaten path that Uber Eats can be a bit unreliable, and they may have the slowest elevator I’ve seen in the wild. It’s not as centrally located as some hotels, but for the cost savings you can afford the $10 Uber to get to downtown Boston or Cambridge.
The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The location was good, the service was friendly and helpful. I was probably in a not- renovated floor because the tap of the shower came off at every shower. Also the water pressure was far from ideal. The bathroom was dirty. The number of hangers was insufficient. The curtains were very very dirty. I would have loved to open the windows but it was impossible. The breakfast was ok but the choice pretty limited
Had a wonderful stay at this location! Room was very spacious, clean and all amenities were just what was needed. From efficient check/in with Deyli, to checkout, everything was just what we hoped it what be.
The room of your average Holiday Inn. Scary and slow elevators. A sub average breakfast. And an inflated price like everywhere in Boston. Public transportation is available within a 5 minute walk. The area can be a bit intimidating at first but, after having been out a few times, it seems nothing shady is going on.
Overall, we liked this hotel. Check in was quick and they were very welcoming. Room was clean, blackout curtains work really well, and the location was good especially if you need the T. it is a 5 minute walk from the hotel to Lechmere on the green line. The Lechmere station does not have turnstiles so you need to validate your ticket at the ticket machine. We were only there for a weekend (Fri - Sun) so we got a 1 day T ticket and were able to get everyplace we wanted to. Tip: When going back to hotel, take the train that goes to Union Square. There are not many places to get a bite to eat near the hotel but if you take the T, it's not an issue at all. Breakfast was standard and was fine. My only complaint about the breakfast is that they do not have decaf coffee. Probably not enough of a demand. The only thing I did not like with the hotel is that they did not advise us that they do not clean the room daily. I know that since COVID many hotels do not do daily housekeeping but normally I have also been advised of this when I have checked into hotels. It wasn't a problem that the room wasn't cleaned but it would have been nice if we had been advised. Overall, I would recommend this hotel if you need to be in Cambridge.…
The manager Brian was great! I was treated with respect and the hotel staff was friendly and customer service oriented. The room felt like an apartment! Plenty of room and well appointed. Great hot breakfast and loved the pancake machine! I'd stay there again in a heartbeat!
Brian and his team were excellent and attentive. Brian in particular went above and beyond checking in each time he saw us to ask if we needed anything and if we needed our rooms turning over. I also left my suit and two shirts at the hotel after checking out and Brian located and sent them to me folded. I would recommend the hotel and Brian in particular.
Estella, Alex, and Brian at the front desk were all amazing. The service we received at this hotel was what you would expect at 5 star luxury hotels. The level of professionalism and dedication to service is evident in every interaction. We truly enjoyed our visit and would definitely stay here again. The decor in the rooms was a bit lacking, but everything was clean, comfortable, and in good repair. Breakfast was very good, with all of your standard continental breakfast items and pancakes available everyday plus a rotation of hot items such as cheese omelets, scrambled eggs, bacon, turkey or pork sausage, and breakfast potatoes that changed daily. There are plenty of good restaurants within a short walk and also a grocery store. We recommend the Lexington. The nearby train station was under construction, but Uber was easy, quick, and cheap because this hotel is actually quite close to downtown Boston and the tourist sights.…
Excellent check in experience. Front desk person on the day we have checked in Saturday June 5th in the morning went above our expectations to accommodate our request. Hot breakfast is very good. Clean and quiet location in Cambridge. Thank!
