If you like this review please remember to leave me a helpful vote as Tripadvisor doesn’t pay anything for me to write useful reviews. The short version is I enjoyed my stay and it was like staying in an upscale version of an Aloft hotel. The long version starts here: I came up and stayed for 5 days for Tufts graduation weekend in May 2022. Staff was friendly upon check-in. I tried to do check-in via the Marriott App and was successful to an extent. While I was able to use the App to open my room door, you need an actual room key from the front desk to use the elevators, gym and pool area. So just using the Marriott App was unsuccessful and abandoned. I was assigned a room on the 4th floor. The room is self is modern in appearance and was very clean upon arrival. There was a small fridge along with coffee and tea maker available. There wasn’t a lot of drawer cabinet space available (2 drawers) but there were a sufficient amount of surface area, plus the room had a 2nd bed that I wasn’t using that I could just put my clothes on. In addition to power outlets there are USB ports available both by the desk and in between the beds where you can recharge your devices. Coffee, tea and water were free and always available by the front desk. The Wifi at the hotel was complimentary and had good download and upload speed. There were also 2 complementary iMacs in the lobby to use. Parking at the hotel is $25 a night, the breakfast buffet was an additional $20, and there is no daily house keeping service. That being said, there are small signs hat you can leave on your door if you need additional towels or just stop by the front desk to get additional anything for the room. Just for informational purposes, across the street is the Alewife Reservation DCR parking with 8-10 parking spaces where you can park for free for 2 hours when exploring the Alewife Reservation “AREA”. About a 9 minute walk from the hotel is the Alewife T Station where overnight parking is $9 M-F and $3 overnight on the Weekends. The room will be serviced by housekeeping on the 4th day of your stay. As I mentioned, my plan had me there for 5 days. While the room was serviced on the 4th day of my stay. I think it would have been more efficient for housekeep to service the room at the midpoint go my stay (day 3) rather then the day before my departure (day 4). I also mentioned that the breakfast buffet was an additional $20. That being said, they sometime offer a complementary breakfast buffet in the restaurant. I’d guess your chances are 1 in 30 maybe. There would be a sign outside the restaurant if that is the case. It happened to be on my 2nd day there, and I thought the breakfast at the hotel was very good (while yes it was also free that day). There were freshly baked goods as well as 2 different types of baked omelets, cereal, eggs, yogurts, and various beverages. While there is nothing “shopping wise” in this area, I also brought my bicycle with me. Specifically it’s a Cannondale Topstone Gravel bike. They let me keep the bike in my room, but the area is also very bicycle friendly, with numerous bike pathways available. I’m happy I went with my Gravel bike rather then my road or mountain bike. Remember even if you like didn’t like this review leave me a helpful vote as Tripadvisor doesn’t pay anything for me to write these reviews. Stay well & Safe travels!

The hotel is modern, well kept and usefully designed. Located directly within the Alewife Reservation is an added benefit. You're within a few feet of a natural oasis where one could plop down and read a book or do some yoga. Bring a pet - they'll love it! A quick walk gets your right to the Red Line T and you're one stop from Somerville witch is a great spot for dining.

Our stay was quick, only 2 days, as we were just passing through due to a change in plans. The room was very clean and incredibly spacious (we had stayed in the city the previous nights). There isn’t much around the immediate area but it is very close to the Harvard Campus and downtown Cambridge where you can find many shops and restaurants. We stayed here to drive out to Salem one day and Gloucester the next, both less than an hour away from this hotel, so it is a nice, quiet area to be in if you want to get away from the city but still be close enough. Overall a lovely stay. Amanda? the young lady that checked us in was very pleasant and sweet and gave us lots of information about the hotel. We didn’t get a chance to visit the bar but it seemed like a nice place to relax and socialize a bit during the week. Our only setback was my husband didn’t realize breakfast wasn’t included so he was a little surprised when he received a check for it.

Breakfast was fantastic. Not your average hotel breakfast even though it’ll cost you $20. Well worth it. Warm and cold options. Espresso. Kind staff. Beautiful hotel. Quiet. In good area with parks and running path. I would say this hotel isn’t marketed for kids/families. Outside of busy Boston but not far drive to get back into city.

The hotel charged my card two times, once at check-in and once at check-out, in April 2022. I called them three times, and each time they denied it, saying one charge was just for booking purposes and it would not go on my card statement. But it did. I filed a dispute with the credit card company and waiting for almost two months to get my money back! Be careful they don't do it to you.

Out of 300 hotels we visited or reviewed this one had the dirtiest rooms. We entered the room and there was hair and dist everywhere. The front desk was helpful and offered another room. We entered and saw 5 or six hair on the floor. I took a towel and swiped a random piece of floor and it was full of dirt. We were wary of touching anything. If rooms are like this imagine the kitchen. The front staff said that they would send photos to the management but nobody ever responded. The hotel has a good gym and it looks new but we will not return.

The hotel is very clean, in a quiet location close to a T station and next to a wetland park. Every staff member was so nice and helpful. Check in, bar tender, breakfast service and housekeeping staff. The breakfast was very good, better than I’ve had at other hotels.

The staff at the AC was great friendly and attentive. The hotel itself was clean and the room was great. And the hotel is in east walking distance to the T train station that connects with most of Boston.

First off, the staff at this hotel was fabulous. Everyone I met or passed had a smile and a friendly greeting. Because of a change in plans, I had to leave a day early, at exactly 12noon, and the women at the front desk asked if everything was okay, and when I told them that my leaving was not for dire reasons they were relieved; my check-out was quick and flawless and I was on the road in minutes. Now for the room: it was clean and fresh and the bed was comfortable, however... The heating/AC unit was without a doubt, the loudest piece of machinery I have ever experienced. Whenever it cycled on, it sounded like the staging of a jet getting ready to launch off an aircraft carrier; the room vibrated. Had the windows been able to be opened, I would have used that for fresh air rather than that unit, but without it, it was unbearably hot in the room. One of the things I missed was the usual booklet which shows local sites: restaurants, pubs, places of interest, etc. There was also no menu showing offerings of the in-house restaurant and bar. There was no listing for the TV stations provided, nor instructions on how to properly use the unduly complicated remote. My biggest complaint was that there was no direct access from the parking garage into the hotel. This poses a problem during inclement weather, and perhaps a safety issue late at night. I could easily stay there again if I was sure the room issues were addressed and fixed.
