The Silver Cloud Hotel - Seattle Stadium garners praise for its spotless rooms and lively atmosphere, which many guests find enhances their stay. Its location is particularly popular with sports fans, being a stone's throw from Mariners games. While the service is generally applauded for its professionalism and friendliness, some visitors have experienced occasional delays. The rooftop pool and other amenities are well-liked, although the high valet parking fees are a point of contention. Opinions on value are divided, with some finding the rates reasonable, but others are put off by the costly extras.

Absolutely fantastic! Every single interaction with staff was positive and fun. It is obvious from conversations and greetings from valet, front desk, security, bar staff, housekeeping that they are skilled, happy and well trained. Hotel is clean and the location is perfect for anything you want to do near the stadiums or waterfront. This was our first stay here and we will definitely be back.

Honestly, this place is nearly perfect if you need a place to stay after a show at WAMU theater, whether you want to not risk driving home after a long show, or it’s a multiple day event and you would like to remain close to return for the next event. Rooms were very well kept and clean, cleaning service workers were very kind and considerate, they work very efficiently. Beds were extremely comfortable. This may come off as extremely petty so bear with me for a second. But my partner and I were rubbed the wrong way when we found out the HDMI ports on the TVs were blocked off by plastic fill ins. It was a pretty damn shame because whenever we do staycations with each other, after a long day of activities, we love to come back to the hotel together and play on our gaming consoles, or cast our own entertainment onto the TVs. A lot of hotels don’t make it particularly easy, but it’s usually doable. It’s actually pretty common for people who travel to pack their own source of entertainment to consume while they are staying at a hotel. It was such a disappointment to see that this hotel intentionally blocked the ports. The booking prices for this place is definitely on the high end of hotel stays. As long as people respect the rules, the guest policy and the non-party policy and pay such a premium to stay, the least you could allow your guests to do is be allowed to consume their own source of content. I feel like this is a ploy of corporate greed to force customers to pay for on-demand services and my partner and I were not about it. Again, we might be a bit petty, but that’s just how we personally feel. Outside of that, this place is great. We would stay again, if this TV situation was the change. But until then, I guess we will have to find another place. If the HDMI ports being blocked isn’t an issue for you, then otherwise I very much do recommend this place.

We arrived our first day at 4 PM and went straight to the bar. We had amazing service and amazing food. We came the next morning for breakfast with friends. The food was excellent. The server was OK, I wish she would have told us that she could only split our check in half to begin with, but whatever. We had a comfortable stay in one of the best rooms we’ve ever stayed in and the front desk staff accommodated our late check out request due to our flight schedule. We would stay here again and again!

We arrived at 8pm with plans to get in, put our kids to bed and go to sleep. The room we checked in to was 80 degrees with no working fridge. After 20 minutes of trying to turn the temperature down it wasn't budging. We called the front desk and they sent someone that thought changing the air filter would help and offered to bring a new fridge. I called and requested to move rooms since it was so hot in the room and already later at night. They accommodated this request but likely it could have been solved with housekeeping earlier in the day noticing the room was set to 80 degrees.

We had asked before arrival if late check out was an option and were told to ask at the time of check in. We asked at the time of check in and were told to ask in the morning. I called in the morning at 8 am and were told there was no availability. The same thing happened with valet, we were told to ask in the morning if we could keep our car in the garage until after the 1pm baseball game. We were told valet parking check out time is the same as hotel check out. It seemed like they already knew the answer would be no as there couldn't have been that many new reservations overnight to change the answer and just was inconvenient in general in the morning to have to check with the desk and valet. We had to move our car at the time of check out, 12pm even though we were attending a 1pm baseball game and pay valet parking and then additional parking on top of it.

I would not recommend this hotel unless you are specifically looking for the location convenience being close to the stadium. For a 1pm game it doesn't make financial sense since you have to move your car unless you're staying that night. Might as well stay somewhere less expensive and just drive in and park.

Hello Heateliz, I'm sorry to hear about your stay with us and the inconvenience of having to move your car. We have made changes to our gameday policies since and we can allow the car to stay for the game now. There is an additional fee for event parking, but hopefully not the inconvenience of having to move. Best Regards, KJ Roff Hotel Manager

Bring your own water. For the price you pay for a room per night, they can't even provide you with a couple bottles of complimentary water in your room. Don't get there before your 4:00pm check in. I totally understand check in is at 4pm. Arrived at 12:30pm and was told they would text me when my room was ready. At 4:05, I went to the counter and my room was ready. The lady could not/would not tell me when it was ready or why I never received a text.

If you are going to a baseball, soccer, or football game, this is the place to stay. Right across the street from T-Mobile Park and Lumen Field. Front desk staff was very helpful when we checked in, and our rooms were ready even though we arrived early. Comfy beds and pillows, large tvs with lots of channels, very clean room. Also, if you've ever been on a girls trip where there weren't enough mirrors (or mirrors with outlets near them for curling irons, hair dryers, flat irons, then this is a great hotel for you. Lots of mirrors and multiple outlets. Also many outlets and USB ports in the nightstands. The restaurant, Jimmy's on 1st, is also quite good. Try the cheese curds or the pretzel. Room service for breakfast was quite good and reasonably quick at only 30 minutes. Definitely will stay again for other sporting events.

Hotel was great . Front desk and person checking us in , Katelyn was friendly professional and efficient . Our room was on the same floor as the pool , no problems with noise or elevators getting up or down . Room was spacious, the bathtub was deep and great for a hot bath . Nice bath amenities, comfortable bed, working remote and fridge. Great location for the stadiums, access to the ferries and cruise ships. Despite it being a food market desert and The $150 for incidentals charged up front is excessive ( even Midtown NYC hotels cap at $50) , it’s a new favorite to stay when in Seattle

My son and I stayed at the Silver Cloud Hotel -Seattle Stadium this week. We chose the hotel because we didn’t want to battle the traffic downtown Seattle. The hotel was so easy to get to. They have valet parking for a fee but it was worth it. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. We took a Lyft into the city each day and the prices were pretty reasonable (avg $20). The hotel also has a great rooftop pool and hot tub with a view of the harbor and into T Mobile Stadium. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Dear C705HTlisao Thank you for your wonderful and thoughtful review of our hotel. I’m glad you and your son enjoyed your stay with us. Main downtown Seattle is pretty close to our hotel. There are also different options going into the city such as light rail which is two blocks walk from us. Our roof top pool is open year round and I’m happy you got to enjoy the wonderful view of the Puget Sound. Thank you again and we hope to have the pleasure in hosting you in the near future. We came into town to attend a Seahawks game—this is by far one of the best locations you can find for that specific purpose. It is a bit of a hike to Pike’s Place and true downtown Seattle but it’s a quick Uber ride or drive if that is preferred. The restaurant in the hotel is just ok, but I will say the dessert was delicious. Room service and promised service to the pool was non-existent, so it is best to go to the restaurant and just dine-in for good service/quality. The one time we did get the breakfast to go.. it was disappointing. The rooms were nice, everything worked as needed and we liked that you needed a key card to use the elevator as it added an additional layer of safety. Location is absolutely key, and our game day experience was seamless and exciting due to not having to park or navigate traffic—the price for this hotel is truly the location.

We came up for a Mariners game which started at 12:40. Our room was available for early check-in, so we were able to get freshened up before the game. The hotel does offer to hold luggage if the room isn't ready yet, which is a nice option. We did use the valet parking, I found it a little disappointing that this service is now an upcharge (our previous stays it was included). The room was very clean and the beds comfortable. Jimmy's on 1st had great service and good food. I had the eggs Benedict and the eggs were cooked perfectly (restraunts seem to struggle with this). The service was outstanding, coffee was good too! We enjoyed our stay.

The pool and hot tub are open, but the number of people allowed in each area is limited by the WA State Health Department at this time. Until the Governor announces new guidelines and removes restrictions, we have to adhere to these rules. We have monitored the situation and found that our guests have been respectful of these regulations and have cooperated so that all can enjoy this wonderful amenity. We look forward when these restrictions have been removed. Thank you so much.

How much is parking?
Answer from Bill W

Our parking is valet only with as many ins and outs as you need. It is $42.00, plus tax per vehicle, per night. It is among the less expensive in Seattle. Your vehicle will be secured on site in our locked, non-public, monitored garage, with 24 hour access. Thank you.

My apologies we do not have a room or Suite with two bathrooms. Our bathrooms in our suites will have a sink, a stand up shower, and a tub in one. I hope this helps, please let me know if I can answer any additional questions for you! Thank you!!
