My husband and I had planned and saved to celebrate his birthday in Ballard and we picked this place because of the reviews. The cost for the courtyard suite was hefty but we anticipated getting our money’s worth. The best part about the room was...More
Everyone at Hotel Ballard was lovely to work with. We'd always stayed downtown before and wanted to explore this neighborhood; the hotel was a perfect base. We had a blast at the Farmer's market and the massive home consignment store down the block, and no...More

Yes, it was a reasonable drive to the cruise port. We used uber from the hotel to get to the cruise port. The hotel staff was very helpful in setting us up with uber too! We were surprised that there were several couples also going on our cruise staying at The Ballard. Even ran into folks who just checked in after their cruise and got the "must do" list from them. If I ever cruise in or out of Seattle, this will be the first place I would try to stay at.
