Our introduction to this hotel was the fantastic front desk team - super friendly, informative, collaborative team! The set the tone for my family and I making us feel welcome and informed (they took time to give us directions and answer questions about the area). We parked in the underground lot which has an oversized area that fit our truck.

The large lobby is lovely, with a coffee bar, couches, and close to bathrooms. If you don’t like their coffee bar, Starbucks is attached to the lobby area and is easily accessible.

Our room was ideal for us. We are in a corner room with two double beds (perfect for families with big football sized teens like we have). The entrance area is comfortable with a small closet, and a vanity area with a mini fridge and coffee set-up. Being on the corner provided us with a large faux balcony window and two windows on each wall allowing us to see the intersection and fun night game vibe outside. It also included a sitting area with two chairs and a table, as well as a third chair over at the desk area. The bathroom is simple with a large shower and includes toiletries.

This is an older hotel but is updated and lovely. The rooms and hotel areas are clean, and as already mentioned, the staff are fantastic! Someone else commented that the elevators were slow but I didn’t find them bad. We did choose to walk the stairs when we returned from the game simply because it was super busy when we returned, and it was nice to see that the stairways were clean like the rest of the hotel. The location is ideal for anyone going to an event at Climate Pledge Arena as it is only a four minute easy walk away. There are lots of restaurants and amenities around the hotel. When in Seattle, I will use this hotel again!

We were given what I requested a quiet room, top floor and with a bit a of a view. I had booked a double double the room was spotless fairly modern with comfortable beds and a huge tv. Lovely bathroom and windows you can open for fresh air, blackout blinds were good and the view we had was really nice. Free coffee in the lobby and a garage if you have a car. Lots of restaurants in the vicinity and a starbucks on the premises. Staff were all really nice its an old building but well maintained and you can hear very little noise from the outside when the windows are closed. The view from the rooftop terrace was nice and you did get to see a lovely sunset. Close to the Space Needle and really in walking distance of most things. Lovely diner down the road as well as other restaurants and shops. Well as we were on the 6th floor the terrace on the roof meant we could hear everyone walking across it and people constantly moving furniture which at 6am was a bit annoying, We were there for 3 days and I have to say this did not happen every day but if I had been there longer I would have asked to move. The parking garage is very dark we parked on floor 2 to start with which was better but 4 floor on the day we were leaving 4 people were in there smoking joints which made the garage smell awful and if i had been on my own would have made me feel quite vulnerable. We had to pay a $30 a day charge for possible damages which I didn't know about or about the $27 a day charge for the car park but I may not have seen this when I booked it, The double double rooms are a bit tight and would not recommend for more than 2 people or 2 adults and a child. I would stay here again if in the area and would recommend this hotel, I would just ask for a top floor room not under the terrace.

This hotel is in a great location that made visiting sites like the Space Needle and Chihuly's Glass and Garden Museum within walking distance. The parking garage is kinda tight but safe so worth it to pay the fee rather than drive around the city. The staff work hard to check guests in (loads from the cruise ships when I came) efficiently with security cameras in all the hallways so I felt safe staying there. Mini-fridge and microwave in-room makes the stay economical although there are plenty of restaurants and a couple of grocery stores nearby. The rooftop patio has amazing views but accessible by stairs near the top. The rooms were clean and comfortable but the elevators were slow. Homeless folks are in the hood but they are everywhere.

The location of the hotel was excellent for our needs as my wife and I made a weekend trip to see a concert at the arena and do a little bit of sightseeing at the same time. If I were not disabled and in the wheelchair I would have practically no complaints about this location. However, there were a few issues that came up due to my accessibility needs.

The first issue was parking! If you have an oversized wheelchair accessible van it is extremely difficult and almost impossible to get into the parking garage without scraping the bottom of your van on your way out and in. This made me extremely nervous, especially when I heard the bottom of my van scrape the pavement.

We had an accessible room with a roll-in shower. The shower was so small that there is no way anyone could use a roll-in bathing wheelchair. It did however have a built in shower seat, however, the seat was at one end and you couldn't reach the controls or even the shower head because it was on the other side. It was very difficult to use and I required help from my wife to just get clean everyday because there was so difficult. The shower also had a small ramp up which was a real tripping hazard which also caused water to run out of the shower.

The room has absolutely no counter space just a sink attached to the wall. Yes you can roll under it in a wheelchair but you can't put anything down that you could reach. Also the toilet grab bars were installed so close to the toilet tank that you couldn't even use the bars to hold on because they were touching the tank. The grab bar on the side was so short that it was useless. This made toileting very difficult.

The final thing regarding the room for someone who is disabled was that I found it rather curious why they would put an accessible room for a wheelchair user on the third floor. In case of a fire there is no way you're going to get out unless somebody carries you out. I understand that there probably is no ground floor room however it should have been on the lowest level possible in case of emergency but that's just my opinion.

Once again I highly recommend this hotel it was awesome to be able to get to the arena for the concert as well as sightseeing with the Space Needle and monorail.

Hi Depechian, Thanks for staying with us. I'm glad we had parking that worked for you, and that the location and hotel itself was satisfying for you. I have read your specific feedback on the bathrooms; we have remodeled half of our bathrooms, and intend to finish the rest this winter. We'd have finished them all a couple of years ago, but covid put us behind our schedule (as we weren't sure we could even survive that period). Please know we have at least one accessible room on every floor, but our entire hotel is serviced by two elevators, and no stairs are required anywhere. Thanks again for staying with us. I hope you enjoyed your concert! Travel kindly and well -

Nice, clean hotel located near downtown Seattle. The room amenities were exactly what I needed. I loved that there was a refrigerator and a microwave in my room. My room was right across from the elevator, so it was a bit noisy. Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was very tight even though my car is small, but it was covered and secured. I stayed here solo for two nights and felt very safe.

Large and very clean rooms. Great staff that was very helpful. They provided dishes, coffee mugs, flatware and water glasses. No paper or plastic.

We could walk to multiple restaurants and the neighborhood felt safe.

The space needle and Chihuly were a short walk. The center for wooden boats at union lake was a little further but totally doable.

We really loved the location and the hotel.

A great smaller hotel with a nice, historic feel (intimate lobby) but perfect for a short stay prior to an Alaskan cruise out of Seattle.

Best surprise: Our flight arrived very early and check in was supposed to be at 4 p.m. but the friendly and welcoming staff member at the desk astonished us by getting us in a room immediately so we were able to go out and explore the city. If you travel much, you know this does not always happen.

All staff we met during our short stay were welcoming and friendly, the rooms were somewhat compact as you'd expect for an inner city hotel, but we had everything we needed and felt completely at home. Also, the rooms were very nicely decorated/updated with comfortable pillows/bedding and the bathroom and entire room were very clean which is extremely important to me.

There is an outstanding albeit small rooftop patio where you are able to take skyline and water pics and enjoy a peaceful and serene morning coffee/breakfast from the Starbucks next door at tables/couches/tables.

There is also a great view of Space Needle from the hotel and other parts of the city. It is located about a mile and a half from Pikes Market and a short way further is within walking distance to the waterfront from there with various restaurants. We opted for an Uber to the market area instead of walking and we were glad we did as there were a hill or two that looked a bit much for these flatlanders!

A shuttle to the pier from the hotel is offered by a 3rd party company for $10 per person, a great offering, but sign up when you book if you can, or at least when you check in. It was a bit of a circus because it was cruise season! Hint: take a shuttle leaving at least 30 minutes earlier than you think you should because the line of cars waiting to drop you off at the pier seemed longer than the ride from the hotel! Also, perhaps some patience for somewhat harried guy with the shiny gold tipped shoes who is dealing with a lot of cruisers who do not wish to miss their ship!

It was a busy pre-cruise weekend and it appeared the hotel was at capacity so the elevators were a bit slow, but hey, you're on vacay!!

We stayed overnight before a cruise at the Mediterranean Inn. With no exceptions, everyone we encountered was cheerful and friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The offered assistance getting our luggage to our room, getting a cart and coming up wit h to our room. They did the same for discharge. We used their shuttle service from the airport and to the cruise terminal. Fees were reasonable and drivers were helpful. Check in time was 4pm. The stored our bags in a locked room, carefully tagged, while we went down the block for lunch. When we came back, our room was ready early. All computerized things went especially smoothly, including online check out. The Inn's price is similar to other larger hotels with more amenities but if you don't actually use a pool, etc, and value personal service in a downtown location, this is for you.

Housekeeping started knocking on the room door at 8am. Do they not know who has checked out and who has not? After concert line for NON-GUESTS to pickup their checked bags were very aggressive to paying GUESTS trying to get in to go to our rooms. They were yelling, getting in our face, blocking the door etc. Quite scary, especially upsetting to the kids. There needs to be a better system for that!

My husband and I were so impressed with the quality of service we received as guests from all employees as well as the hotel and rooms being extremely clean. Such a great location where we could walk directly across the street to a Safeway to buy necessities we needed and short walks to fabulous restaurants as well as being so close to the Climate Pledge Arena which was the reason for our stay in Seattle. So convenient to just walk a couple blocks to the Climate Pledge and not have to drive and find parking there.

We do have a secured well lit parking garage located directly underneath our building that is easily accessible from our lobby and guest rooms via two elevators. It is first come, first serve. The front desk can supply you with a key that will allow you to access the garage even if your room isn't quite ready yet when you check in. Our guest parking is $27.00 per night and does include 24hr/day in and out privileges.
