The Hyatt Regency Seattle is celebrated for its modern vibe and spacious rooms, providing stunning views and abundant natural light, a detail that hasn't gone unnoticed by guests. Despite the occasional mixed feelings on value, with some guests mentioning unexpected fees, the hotel's prime location is a consistent hit, placing visitors within arm's reach of the city's top dining and attractions.
Amenities like the fitness center add to the appeal, and while most experiences with service and cleanliness are highly commended, a few guests have pointed out room for improvement in these areas.

The staff at the Hyatt Regency in Seattle went above and beyond. Upon check in (I had not previously requested) I asked it if was possible to get a room with a bath tub. The young man immediately upgraded us to a corner room with a fabulous view facing the water and a lovely bath tub. We wanted bananas when shopping at the Market in the hotel, the cashier informed us that they had sold out for the day. I believe the manager over heard our discussion with the cashier and personally delivered bananas to our room within 15 minutes of our visit to the Market. We loved the location of the hotel, walking distance to many restaurants and Jazzy Alley for live music.

Great stay at the Hyatt. I’ve stayed at enough hotels that I’ve come to realise when a hotel has dark carpets and it is fully carpeted, it may not be of the best class and to check heavily for dirt and other things. Coming into the room, the hallways were wide, no smells, and fairly well lit. Coming into the room was a breeze because I could either unlock with my key or my app. Walking into the room, I saw that they had a hard surface before they had carpet, but their carpet it light so you can also see if it’s dirty/how dirty it is. This was great news to see. I also checked the bathroom, caulking, pillows, sheets, etc. everything was clean, no stains, and it looks as though the covers for the bed are the anti microbial ones that they change out fairly often. The showers were rust free, and the handles looked like they were very clean (no streaks or heavy water marks!). The room was very nice (I started on the 42nd floor). I think the only thing is that if your phone automatically has private relay, be sure to turn it off because it will interfere with the WiFi that Hyatt gives you

An overnight stay at this hotel was an excellent choice as we disembarked from an Alaskan cruise. The location was easily accessed from the cruise terminal, and it was located within easy walking distance to shopping and the famous Pike's Market. Our team of adventurers enjoyed the hotel for its easy access to sites as well as the helpfulness of the staff and cleanliness of the hotel.

We stayed from 11/27/2024 through 12/02/2024. Whoever was the housekeeper they did an amazing job!! Room was always clean, fresh and well appointed. The housekeeper ensured the coffee was always stocked and water bottles were always replaced. Housekeeping ensured my room was always clean and I was very happy that every time I returned to hotel that my room was cleaned. Soap dishes were always cleaned and bed sheets were changed. Additionally, at the check in the option of morning housekeeping or afternoon housekeeping was offered. This has never happened before and was extremely happy that it was offered. I selected afternoon housekeeping since i tend to stay in the room in mornings. Additionally, at check in the that lady working there was extremely polite. Being able to check in early without hesitation is nice after arriving from Orlando, Florida via SeaTac. Allowing guests to check in early sets the example and that started my vacation extremely positive. Showing compassion and care to guests is what Hyatt Regency Seattle does. I am happy to have spent two vacations here in Seattle at this same hotel. When I return to Seattle in the future it will be my third time there as I will surely visit Seattle again. I believe this hotel is part of the reason why I chose to vacation in Seattle. Staying here makes a huge difference and the staff is exceptional!!! Thank you!!!

We are here for a conference. Arrived Friday and staying five nights. Staff at check in were great. Housekeeping has been excellent.
Why the three star rating? On reviewing previous posts, there is an overwhelming complaint regarding the lack of water pressure and shower facilities in the rooms. It begs the question - why isn’t this being addressed?
One person commented, “Taking a shower is a chore” Absolutely correct. And when you are short - 5’ 1” - it is even more of a chore. The shower head is so high, the weak stream of water is cold before it reaches you. Truthfully, the water never got warm., despite having the handle turned fully clockwise. The water coming from the bathroom sink has better pressure and a warmer temperature. The lack of a shower door means you are never warm, never comfortable and dreading the entire experience.
How are families with small children managing? It wouldn’t be hard to make this adjustment. I can’t wait to get home and stand in a real shower.

A great hotel in a great location. Check in was a breez, the lady working the front desk was lovely and explained everything about the stay. The room on the 38th floor was nice, everything was clean and the room was quiet. If I could have asked for something more it would been more storage space, a couple of hangers, that’s all there is. A couple of drawers would have been nice. You could choose to have the room cleaned every day or every other day. The cleaning staff did a great job every time. All the staff we interacted with was very friendly and happy to help. Visited the gym everyday and for a hotel gym this goes a long way, enough machines and always clean. Had breakfast at Andare everyday and it was good, hade dinner there one night and it was delicious! The hotel’s location is great. Westlake/Monorail i a 10 minute walk away, Pike Place another 5 minutes. Buses around town is a block away and you can buy a day pass for 6$. When we’re coming back to Seattle we’ll probably staying here again.

My stat was fine. I was informed during check-in that I got upgraded to a corner room, which meant I had more space and views from two sides. Thanks, HR Seattle!
Everything in my room worked as expected and the hard inventory was generally complete. No complaints there. Similar story for the bath. No finicky water heater or frayed towels here. Everything worked.
The Destination Fee includes a USD10 (or is it USD15?) credit that can be used in the Market. At least, unlike in other hotels, the fee has some real utility to it. Among others, I used the credit to buy dessert (an ice cream bar) and a sandwich at the Market. The sandwich was edible. That's about all I can say.
The Hyatt Regency Seattle is quite a large hotel with hundreds of rooms and extensive meeting and banquet facilities. It's also literally across the street from a new wing (?) of the Seattle Convention Center. As such, it's quite busy, with lots of people milling around the lobby during busy hours. The feeling all this gives off is impersonal, corporate, and cookie-cutter. At least the hotel also seems to be efficient. I never had to wait long for elevators, for example and check-in and check-out were quick.
I had dinner at the Italian restaurant (a spaghetti and meatballs) and it was quite good, as was the service.
The lackluster sandwich at the Market and busy lobby are what stop me from giving the hotel a 4.
In summary, the Hyatt Regency Seattle does its job and does it well but there isn't that little thing that can elevate a good/very good hotel to great.

The hotel is very clean and quiet. Housekeeping is every 4 days unless you request it which we did. We flew in a few hours early so our room was not ready but we were offered a room with 2 queen beds instead of the king we had reserved which we took and appreciated the hassle free efficacy in checking in. The view from our hotel room was beautiful. The bed linens, the floors, bathroom etc. were very clean and spotless. The hotel is very organized. There are quite a few elevators all around the lobby so as to avoid overcrowding. Elevators go from Floors 1-26 are separate from the ones that go from 27-45th floors. The latter also has up to 8 floors that take you up no matter which elevator you choose. Daniels Broiler is on the 2nd floor along with the Market. Market serves breakfast and lunch (both hot and cold) and Daniels Broiler with a bar is for dinner reservations only. The other on site restaurant is Andare which serves breakfast buffet but the queues are terribly long and it is overpriced at $37 too. The food isn’t worth the price. The queues were long and it took about 40 mins standing and waiting to be seated. Market or any other close by breakfast and coffee shops are a better option. The location of the hotel in downtown is perfect for doing a ton of activities within walking distance. Be aware though, there is not a lot of restrooms around downtown and the hotel ones are of course key access only. There is a lot of homeless people in the area and were surprised at the sheer numbers.
Our flight got canceled because of the snow blizzard in the Midwest so we had to stay an additional day. I booked the same specifications again so that we didn’t have to move to another room for the extra day. To make Adam at the desk understand this was a task in itself. I wanted him to merge the old reservation to the new one which seems simple but we went from him asking me whether I had some random guy (can’t remember name) staying with us to ‘can’t check you in because the room is dirty’ to ‘do you have 2 rooms booked’ to ‘a new person checked into your room yesterday’ to ‘someone is supposed to check into the room in a few mins’- after 20 mins of this and me missing the breakfast cut off time, an Indian guy, clearly his senior comes in and says ‘just press that button and merge the 2 reservations’. Anyhow the inefficiency of one person should not affect how I feel about the hotel in general.
If you need a car booked to take you to the airport it can be arranged via the bellman for about $80 which is a bit more expensive than booking an Uber or Lyft which I was told stops if there’s any snowfall. We used Uber and had no issues. The price is more or less the same around $80 whether you book via the bellman or Uber which we used. All in all we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

It's about five years old, so it was fresh and clean. The beds are soft. I slept better on the waterbed level. The bedside footlights were good for motion sensors. It is a shame that the showers are fixed and the water pressure is low. The fact that the pillows were greasy was surprising, probably because they are close to the convention center and are often used by businessmen. (Ah, I remember the hotel.) I stayed on the upper floor (40th floor), but the elevator was surprisingly fast. Four bottles of PET bottled water for two (replenished daily) and plenty of coffee and tea are provided in the room. There was also a refrigerator. For a quick bite, there was a convenience store-like corner upstairs called MARKET that sells snacks and drinks. They could make Poki-don and hot chicken, and order delivery to your room. ← You could order it digitally. (Prices were horribly high in Seattle) Seattle is so hilly, it was convenient to be close to the Linkrail (Westlake). Pike Place Market is also within walking distance and close to Starbucks Roaster. Overall, I recommend it.

I stayed at the Hyatt Regency as a conference attendee, so I did not choose the hotel. That said, I can't think of any place I would have rather been! The hotel was beautiful, bright, and clean. The rooms were modern with plenty of light, outlets, and a gorgeous view. We couldn't believe how well we slept. My only complaint would be that the modern shower is basically half open to the bathroom without a door/curtain over the "entrance," so it can be hard to stay warm.
The hotel is conveniently located to Pike Place and many other attractions. As late risers, my husband and I frequently have issues with ensuring we get housekeeping service if we leave the room at 11am or later. The Hyatt housekeeping staff were on their game and on the one day we refused service because we were working remotely from the room, they left a note on our door letting us know who/how to call if we changed our mind. Issues with housekeeping are frequently a complaint of mine after a hotel stay, and the Hyatt team anticipated all of our needs and delivered excellent service. We also ordered Door Dash to the hotel and they had a conveniently located table in the lobby that made it simple.
