Hotel's Favourite
Everyone at the front desk is always so welcoming and professional. Rooms are always clean. I brought a friend with me for this visit. She was so impressed with the breakfast served. So happy the bar has opened in the evening! I have a daughter that attends UW and have stayed several times. I wouldn't stay anywhere else! Great location too!

I rarely give a perfect 5-point score to anywhere, but I do so for here (Silver Cloud)! Our 5-day stay here was perfect in every way. The accommodations are comfortable, well designed (not 'fru-fru'), a style real people appreciate. The breakfasts are terrific, with a full array of anything one would expect in a quality buffet (bacon was tasty & crisp, sausage was excellent (high quality), and the staff kept things well stocked and clean. (In my opinion, the oatmeal, however, could have (should have) been notably thicker . . .) The staff was helpful and friendly, offering help and advice beyond what I was expecting. Thank you Silver Clout. Next time I'm in Seattle, I will be returning.

This was my 2nd stay and I had big problems both times. The first time, another guest crashed into my car in the parking lot and this time, my car was broken into. The staff was friendly and helpful. Maintenance vacuumed out all the glass and put up a plastic window so I didn't get soaked when the rain started. The bed was average and the room was quiet and clean.

Silver Cloud Hotels are always a safe bet for a good night’s sleep and a quality stay. This was the first time we stayed in the University District location and it was up to the Silver Cloud standards. Clean, comfortable, friendly, good amenities. Very close to UW and University Village Shopping and Medical services. All hotel prices seem astronomical, but this is good value for the dollar. Also, we were able to get right in as we were walk-ins for a last minute trip.

Came to Seattle for a family wedding, spent 3 nights in this hotel. We found this hotel clean and safe. Staff was friendly and helpful at every turn and we (5 adults, 2 rooms) enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel if you're in the area. My husband and my son enjoyed the wonderful running trail right alongside the hotel. Walkable to some great pizza across the street and University Village for more restaurants and shopping. A serious 'hat-tip' to the Silver Cloud-University District staff! PS: the complimentary breakfast was very well attended to by the staff (cleaning and refilling) unlike many other hotels. GREAT stay.

My father and I stayed at this hotel while visiting my niece and to say it was impressive is an understatement. Everything was wonderful. Location was convenient. Look of the interior was beautiful, our room was pleasantly spacious, the complimentary breakfast was generous and delicious. The restaurant staff were constantly busy cleaning, replacing, refilling items and it was run like a well oiled machine! The dining room was also beautiful and spacious leading into the restaurant which also had a wonderful bar. In addition, the hotel had a workout room with well functioning equipment which I appreciated. And the inclusion of a self serve laundry room was very convenient. There was very little that was overlooked in guaranteeing a comfortable and stress-free stay. All this at a competitive rate. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would come back again

Excellent accomadations if not outstanding! The parking slots are a little on the tight side that are best suited for small and mid-sized sedans (since 2 door vehicles have longer doors, meaning they have greater oppertunity to cause minor "ding" damage to adjacently parked vehicles. If you are tall and not driving, then it is advised that you exit & enter the vehicle before & after it is parked or driven out respectively).
The dinning offered an plesant experience, from atmosphere and wait staff to the food and beverage offerings. The room that I stayed in was plush and invitingly warm. The staff were friendly and accomadating.
I would definately consider another stay at this facility!

Tidy hotel and close to UWMC where I needed to be the next early morning. If coming from the airport, all you gotta do is board the link from sea-tac airport station and alight at Washington university station then connect using bus number 372 it’s about 4 stops and you get to this hotel. Just follow your google map directions when using public transportation. I then just back-tracked the next morning to go to UWMC and boarded the train again going to the airport. This only cost me a fraction of what would’ve been a $90-$100 lyft ride if i didn’t use the train and bus.

Making the reservation for an accessible room is usually worrisome; you never know if it will be big enough. This room was exceptional. It was wide enough to maneuver a wheelchair and the bathroom was complete with roll in shower and grab bars. Greg at the front desk was friendly and helpful throughout our stay!
