Nestled in downtown Seattle, the Mayflower Park Hotel comes highly recommended for its exceptional service, with staff often celebrated for their helpfulness and friendliness. While the hotel exudes a classic charm and historic character, a few guests suggest that certain aspects might benefit from an update.
Despite comments on the occasionally expensive valet parking, the overall value is acknowledged, especially given the hotel's accessibility to city attractions and public transit. The cleanliness of the rooms consistently earns praise, although opinions are mixed regarding room size and the modernity of amenities.

Valet parking staff wonderfull. Lovely lobby and bar. Great food in lounge and great service. Room was lovely very comfortable and had everything we needed. Stayed for 2 nights to see madonna. Close to monorail to climate pledge arena and space needle. Walk to pike place and the old part of downtown seattle. Wish we could have stayed longer, felt like we were staying in the Ritz! Thankyou so much will be back if we can get a price like we did. Just wonderfull

This was the perfect hotel for us during a 5 night stay during our Spring Break vacation. The location adjacent to the the light rail and monorail made it easy to get around Seattle, including Seattle Center, University of Washington, Pioneer Square and to the airport. It was within reasonable walking distance of Pike Place Market and the ferry terminal. If you are planning to use public transportation around Seattle, this is an ideal location. This area of town felt safe to walk about even at 9 pm. There seems to be lots of paid security around this shopping district. There are traffic noises from the road, including sirens at night, but the air circulation system in the hotel provides a good amount of white noise.
We made our reservation several months ahead and got a really reasonable rate on a room with two queen beds. The room was enormous and we enjoyed having the extra living space during our down time. Furnishings were worn - stains in upholstery, seams coming undone, chipped and scratched edges on wood and painted finishes. But things were clean and neat. Housekeeping was attentive and kept us stocked with towels, coffee and bottled water each day. The room included a hair dryer in the closet - which functioned well. Great water pressure in the shower and plenty of hot water.
We had a great view of the city from our room on the 11th floor. The windows let in lots of light, but also lots of cold air. There are extra blankets in the closet in case you get cold, as well as an electric radiator portable heater if really necessary. We had an ample number of outlets for charging devices.
The two restaurants on site were excellent and we enjoyed both Andaluca for breakfast, late night drinks and take out dining at Oliver's. Prices were competitive with similar offerings nearby and food quality was excellent. There are many good restaurant choices easily within walking distance. Shopping choices are also easy to access.

My daughter and I stayed at the Mayflower Park in Seattle for 5 nights in mid April 2024 prior to a road trip to the Tulip Festival and Oregon. We arrived at the Sea Tac airport late on a Friday evening, and managed to easily navigate our way to the light rail which took us directly downtown. Then we walked a couple blocks to the hotel without incident. Cost $3.50 per person. The hotel is located just one block from Enterprise, so it was very convenient to rent a car and exit the city.
The gentleman at the front desk greeted us with two Mayflower anniversary chocolate bars. My queen room request appeared to have been upgraded to a suite with a microwave (which was requested). What a great surprise. The suite had a separate lounge area and desk, and lots of outlets. The beds were very comfortable, and offered four pillows with a variety of neck support for a comfortable sleep. The hotel room was stocked with this awesome Antica Farmacista grapefruit shampoo, cream rinse, and body lotion. Door staff were always friendly. The garlic parmesan fries at the attached Oliver's Lounge are not to be missed. Check out Happy Hour for the best deals.
We appreciated the display in the lobby lounge giving the history of the hotel. Overall a historic gem at a reasonable price.

The Mayflower Park Hotel was the perfect choice for our spring break in Seattle. First, location was convenient to attractions that we planned to visit and to the transportation hub located on the same block as the hotel. We rode the Light Rail to and from the airport. We walked to Pike Place Market, the ferry landing, and to the monorail for our visit to the Chihully Museum, the Space Needle and the Museum of Pop Culture.
Most importantly, accommodations were first class, exactly what we needed. I reserved a two queen suite which included a bedroom with two queen beds, a parlor, and two bathrooms. This is the first hotel where we found rooms with two bathrooms which was a welcome feature because we travelled with our 15 year old grandson. The rooms were quiet, being a corner suite, clean, and provided comfortable furnishings.
The Mayflower Park Hotel offered a first class, elegant restaurant and bar. We ate breakfast at the hotel and enjoyed late evening drinks and desserts at the bar.
Finally, staff were responsive and welcoming, always pleasant and cheerful.
I would not hesitate to stay at the Mayflower Park Hotel again and to recommend without reservation the Mayflower Park Hotel. We found nothing not to like about this hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed the charm of the Mayflower Park Hotel. If you prefer big box, sterile rooms, this hotel is not for you.
Note: Seattle has an extensive public transportation system, but at our ages we rode only the monorail and the light rail. It nearly is impossible to hail a taxi in Seattle. We used the Yellow Cab app. Uber and Lyft also are available in abundance.

This is an absolute gem of a hotel, we were greeted at reception with big smiles and a super friendly receptionist who gave us some great recommendations for food places around Seattle. The hotel has an elegant charm which is rare to find, location is absolutely perfect for traveling around the city as it is super central and easily walkable to many of the major attractions. The rooms are perfectly sized and exceptionally clean. Breakfast in the restaurant was tasty and the perfect way to start the day. We could not have been more happy with our stay and will definitely be back.

I love hotels like this. Old school charm in a great location. Room was very roomy and clean. Guys at the door helped bring the luggage to the room and parked our car for us. Valet parking is expensive but saves the hassle of finding your own parking and car was spotless.

Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay with us. We are happy to hear to enjoyed your stay. Yes, parking is a scarce resource in downtown and since we do not have a garage of own (design flaw from 1927!) we do have to use a off cite garage. We do our best to have the best valet rate in downtown that beats out other overnight valet services in our area. We hope to host you again in the future!

Liked: The hotel was beautiful and our room was spacious. The monorail was extremely close to take us over to the space needle and museums so very convenient. We took a city tour with Get Your Guide and the pickup location was literally next door to the side of the hotel. And we were able to walk to Pikes Market and all of the other waterfront attractions (ie, harbor cruise, aquarium, etc.) There was even a movie theatre, drug store, and restaurants close by so extremely well situated hotel. They provided free bottles of water every day which was also really nice. We ended up calling for room service 2 min before they closed and they still made our meal and delivered it. Highly recommend.
Disliked · Our bathtub didn't drain very quickly. Parking was $40 per night so pretty pricey, although I know all the downtown hotels charge a fee. Its valet parking off site only so don't leave anything in your car or you will have to call and have them bring the car all the way back to the hotel to get your stuff just to have them have to go put it back. Call for your car 15 min before you actually need it because it will take them awhile to retrieve it.

We loved our stay at the Mayflower Hotel and appreciated in particular the location and friendliness of all the staff that we came in contact with, as well as the cleanliness of the hotel. The first room we were allocated was not to our liking (we had the air conditioning units right outside our window and we are light sleepers) and within 15 minutes we were allocated a new room, no problems (thank you!!) And although this is an older hotel and I believe they are limited in the changes that they can make, the rooms are extremely clean and well equipped, from toiletries, to a room safe, an iron and ironing board, to a small fridge. We stayed in Seattle for a concert at the Climate Pledge Arena and we were able to walk to this venue (about a 1.2 mile walk) we were able to catch the train from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (and back) very easily (about a 30-40 min train ride, $3 one way and about a 3-5 min walk to the hotel) and we were able to walk to many of Seattle's fabulous attractions very easily for example Pikes Peak Market and the harbor. The hotel also has a wonderful cocktail bar named "Oliver's Lounge" and a lovely restaurant for breakfast and dinner called the "Andaluca Restaurant." I would highly recommend the Mayflower Hotel.

The Mayflower is right downtown. The downtown area of Seattle is disappointing because so many stores have closed. It's across the street from Macy's which closed in 2019. It's just sad the way downtowns everywhere are being abandoned. But Seattle is trying to revive its downtown with concerts and events, and it's not like it's empty - during cruise season it's vibrant! Even though we stayed in one of the small rooms, we really liked the hotel. It has class and atmosphere and you can tell the staff take great pride in it. It's been kept up beautifully. The best part of our stay was the restaurant - Andaluca. The whole atmosphere was just lovely. The food was fantastic, and the wait staff were great. Very personable. We ate dinner there, and breakfast the next day. Both were very good. Pike's Market is within walking distance - I'd say 3-4 blocks down the road along the waterfront. There is a shuttle to the cruise ships for $15 per person which was very helpful.

The Mayflower Park Hotel is a rare find - a timelessly classic luxury hotel that is beautifully maintained and staffed with outstanding individuals. The public rooms are absolutely beautiful, filled with stunning fresh flower arrangements. Our king suite was spacious with 2 closets and 2 full bathrooms. The sitting area was a distincly different living space and could be closed off from the bedroom using a French door. The rooms are quiet and well sound-proofed. We heard little, if any, street noise and not a sound from the hallways or the adjecent rooms during our 4 night stay. The rooms were maintained in a spotless manner with plenty of fresh linens. The location of the Mayflower Park Hotel is excellent with many activities a short walk from the lobby. There are excellent restaurants and shops in the area. The monorail to Seattle Center and a Link metro stop are both within a 3 minute walk from the hotel. We will definitely stay here again upon our return to Seattle. Thanks for a wonderful experience!
