The Hotel Neo, (which should not to be confused with the Neo + Hotel), is a modern small hotel and after reading the number of reviews about the friendly the staff and hotel, I decided to give it a try.

However I was disappointed and found the reception staff very unfriendly and unwelcoming and cleanliness had a lot to be desired.

The staff are lazy and couldn’t careless and have no sense of customer support.

After sitting around for ages with no offer of any use of the wifi, or a drink or anything I was eventually checked into the room which is quite small.

Pros:

Modern cheap hotel
There are tea and coffee making facilities,
There is an LCD TV with a reasonably good selection of English-speaking channels

Cons:

The check in process was painfully slow
Staff are very unhelpful and are very poor at their jobs
The rooms are small
There is a small bar fridge which keeps things cool but not cold,
The housekeeping is very poor.
There were disgusting stains all over the seat/ bench in the room,
There were stains on the floor and a build up of dust and muck in the corners  of the room.
There was a small window which was useless as the view was  looking straight into a concrete wall, absolutely no view at all.
The bathroom in the bathroom was really grotty and disgusting and it hadn't been cleaned properly in a very long time.
There was mold and grime all over the floor and in the corners and on the  floor and wall tiles and all around the drain in the shower.
There was a small box containing a shower cap and cotton buds and it was absolutely gross & disgusting and it was filled with a huge amount of build up of filth and muck stuck inside it, so there was no way you would dare use anything that was provided in that container.
They do not provide face washers or hand towels

The cleaning was poor and it was quite disgraceful the way they had not cleaned the bathroom properly in.months, and even the glasses provided in the bathroom were not clean and you would not use them true fear of picking up some sort of sickness from the germs.

The bed was quite firm and a little uncomfortable, and maintenance was poor as the shelf beside the bed was damaged and bent down on an angle, and it would break off with any sort of pressure or weight applied to it. It was unsafe.

There were limited power sockets for changing your devices.

On the website where I booked the hotel it book the hotel it stated there was a pool and there is No pool, and the air conditioning was small and inefficient and struggled to keep the room at a comfortable cool temperature in the heat of the day.

Overall the very poor hygiene in housekeeping would put many people off of wanting to stay here. There are numerous properties all around this area at a similar price and kept much cleaner in a better condition.

The rooms are clean, the location is close to anywhere. The food is delicious according to my taste. Maybe the hair dryer is getting old so it's not too hot. Facilities must be renewed. In my opinion the price I can get for a hotel is enough with existing facilities.

Hi, good evening Neo Kita Jelantik Hotel..
Thank you for all the hospitality..
All the employees here are very, very humble...
At this time I want to say a lot of thanks, especially to the Front Office..
Mr. Joni was the first person to greet us with a warm and friendly smile. Which made us immediately feel comfortable at this hotel.
Mr. Agus Darma is a very humble person and really makes us feel comfortable here and thank you for continuing to bother your little one to draw together. (thanks for the compliment Apple 🥳🥳🥳).
Mr. Sudira and Mba Lia, thank you very much for your hospitality.
A hotel will not look good if it is not supported by initial staff who can make guests comfortable. And this Neo hotel manages to have very good quality Fo staff.
For housekeeping staff. It's also no less the best. From Bli Panji, Bli Adi, Bli Fendy and those I can't mention one by one, thank you very much, thanks to you, we were very comfortable in the room. The cleanliness is the best... And the most comfortable thing is that people often smile because they make character towels...
For security staff...
Mr. De, Mr. Lingga, Mr. Kevin, and Mr. Novan, thank you very much for being very friendly too.
Thank you Neo Kuta Jelantik for making us as a family feel very comfortable from what initially only wanted 2 days to more than 1 month yesterday. I hope you have more success and more success. See you on top Neo Kuta Jelantik. 🤍🤍🤍❤

(+) The Staff, i am sorry i can't found many good think, or maybe the smoking area at the front of lobby, quite cozy.
Since me & my partner could talk about lot of things, perhaps it's the atmosphere.
At first when i booked, it was b'cos the location, but after the pandemic, seem the surrounding not that good anymore.
(-) We found many ants in the bedroom at the television credenza & at the nightstand perhaps it's the juice drops from previous guest & did not wipe properly. The toilet was dark & the dustbin at the toilet was rusty & at the 2nd night, they move it near the bed. The 1st breakfast was A la Carte & it was awful the rice so cold, the chicken like stone. The 2nd breakfast was better A la Continental, not many variations, just better.

What to expect from a low-priced hotel?
Buy it through the application, and it turns out that when you want to enter the room, the key cannot be used, after 4 complaints to the new reception the hotel attendant came and tried to help.
The bedroom small, bed linen does not seem to have been replaced by the former previous guest.. It can be seen from the hair on the bed.
The bathroom needs to be cleaned .
The barrier glass of the shower is very dirty.
Parking only fits 2 cars, there is parking but you have to walk .
And the window has no view at all, just the concrete wall .so what window is it for?

Friendly and helpful staff. Ample motorbike parking. Easy acess in and out for travelling to avoid traffic jams. Ambient music on the floors, quiet room with sunset views from 3rd floor up. Close proximity to Shops, Restaurants, Bars and Warungs. Small fridge is ok, no wardrobe or drawers just a small hanging rack with coat hangers. Suited us. 6 weeks have flown. Excellent Value for Money.

The room had no windows ( only one to the dark corridor) and there was no mentioning of this in the booking site. Also there was a picture with a rom full of light and a beautiful view. They couldn’t help me to change my room.

The building is not even close to the reports and pictures.

Staff was very friendly and they did a good job during my stay.

The rooms are good, clean and worth the price. Comfortable stay here.

Suggestion, please improve the security system, if necessary use CCTV so there will be no misunderstandings which harm the guests staying. Every staff member who works should be directed and equipped in a good, polite and wise manner in serving guests.

Good hotel and very near to the Kuta market with a good service in budget price. Safe for single woman too. And it's couple friendly hotel just in case you need to know.

Breakfast is complimentary and locality is also safe.

Yes it has mini fridge and kettle, the hotel can organise a bike for you. Most of the guests seemed very friendly. I’m not sure if you are allowed local visitors to the hotel

I'm afraid they don't have any balcony but you can dry it in the bathroom since they have the exhaust or maybe inside your room, hang it on the hanger area, they have direct access to aircon. I did like this and leave the aircon on and your swimsuit will dry. Also, they have kinda huge window, if Bali is so hot it can help to make them dry quicker

Hi! It depends on your booking, but we didn't like breakfast there because it was mainly focused on "east taste"!!!
