We had a great time at furama! We chose furama primarily because of its location, its just across the beach not too crowded at anytime of the day, with lots of restaurants, mini marts, everything you need. They are also very kid friendly with a mini waterpark(free) and indoor playground (paid) that my kids and their friends (from other hotels) also Enjoyed. Plus point goes to most of the staff, Reception is very polite and Accomodating. I made a mistake on my booking (bed settings) and didnt know the 2 bedroom suite i booked only had 1 bathroom and With 4 adults and 2 kids will be very difficult!🙈 but they were very helpful and gave us a free upgrade to a 3 bedroom penthouse instead!😍 i was very pleasantly suprised and we really enjoyed the extra space they gifted us. The rooms and facilities are decent, needed better maintenance though but with the price and inclusions they offer, im not complaining much.🤗 but to maintain the quality and standards of their property i hope they look into it as well. Staff at the restaurant and housekeeping are also very nice and helpful. There was 1 staff member though (a lifeguard/pool attendant) who was less accomodating and polite compared to the rest. I understand he wanted to Keep safety precautions at the pool but i believe there are better ways to do that especially if done with a balinese aura and smile..🤗

Back to this place again cos it made many memories for us despite lacking in some areas. This time, cos they upgraded their pool from one depth to a swimable depth for children too. Were given a room we had back in 2016 when my second kid my jus 6mths and delighted to know however what welcomed us in the room was not what we expected. The missing lounger and set of tables outside like what would u do with just one lounger? Had to call twice to hav someone set it up for us. Like where did it go? LOL We even sent an email to the reservations team to share our feedback but there was NO reply until i approached a different front desk manager to feedback my room.
Room was a little rundown u have cracks on the floor and dusts on the bed near the window w small sandflies Fridge had no shelvings to place our medications.
They solved it after much feedback but thing wud never made me forget about. Our room got flooded on a rainy night. I woke up at 5 to have our masterbedroom with a pool of water Called them up and requested for extra floor mats and hav someone wipe it off while my husband still asleep. Thot it stopped there but i woke up with the room this time, full of water on my checkout day! Im so pissed Out of word Jus unbelievable! So i continued my day packing and leave the room for checkout. Ready to move on to another area in Bali.
Repeated thrice to the front desk with no surprised look at all . Even the front desk manager with no reaction. Like guys, is this how u guys deal with such thing?
The manager came forward to ask how we getting on, i said we waiting for our driver. He wanted to offer a transfer or lunch. I said no thank u, we had our day planned except for the flooding mess in our room.
Days gone by Nothing Nothing written from the reservations team or anyone from the hotel team. So here’s my conclusion :
Maybe, im not a Bule Maybe, i dont book directly to the hotel despite me going back and forth with the reservations team on regards of the booking but we are all entitled to price choices dun we? Its a shame if these are what its all about.
Memories made, disappointment included But thank u, sorry not sorry to share my disappointment here for ure not tactful over handling this issue.

We booked for 2 adults and 1 infant (10 months old) and were given a room on the first floor with access only via steps. This meant we had to carry the stroller up and down the stairs every time we went to and from the room.
Accessibility is a real issue here with the only access via very steep ramps, and when you're going down with a baby in a stroller, it is very dangerous. There is also no access to the restaurant or bar area with a stroller. You have to carry it up a number of stairs. The manager suggested that we ask staff for help every time we wanted to go over the bridge to leave or return to the hotel.
Our first room was situated right above a venue that played loud music, which went on until 10 pm, which woke the baby up, so the next day, we had to move rooms to a quieter room with better access. This time, via a lift, I didn't need to carry a stroller.
Whilst we were there, we were informed of maintenance works being carried out on the staircase. This was to be done during daytime hours. This wasn't an issue until the lift broke and the only other access up or down was to use the stairs which were a building site and a health and safety risk as some of the railings were removed.
Watch out for the pool tiles. They are VERY slippery, especially on the stairs where you get into the pool. I nearly fell with my son in my arms getting into the pool, and I observed one many slip and fall and hurt himself. That being said, the pool was great and there was always space, the staff were friendly and attentive and the service was good.
Breakfast had a good choice of food and I'd say there was something for everyone. The only downside was that there were numerous occasions where they would run out of plates. For the number of staff this shouldn't happen. Also, we had to ask for things to be replenished again, something that should happen automatically.
The rooms were very spacious which was good and the rooms had everything you could need. They were cleaned daily and the housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful.
Overall, despite encountering some issues, the hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and it was in a good location.

This is a serviced apartment aspiring to be a hotel. They falsely claim to be a 5 star hotel which is not right. It is decent as a serviced apartment: spacious rooms, great location,polite staff, adequately equipped kitchen. The pool is nice and has a couple of water rides for kids which is good. However, you’ll have a setback if you expect hotel/resort like amenities: service is slow as it’s most left to a bunch of trainees who appear to be overworked. Spacious washrooms but the shower is designed in a way that it cannot stay dry. Shower pressure was too low as well. We had booked 2 rooms about a month in advance and were given them on different floors and while the person at the reception was very polite but very difficult to reason with on this issue or anything else. The breakfast menu is limited and it became quite an activity - they’d run out of juice glasses every now and then, getting cutlery would require you to chase a trainee staff at least thrice. They did try an Indian counter top at the breakfast buffet but it didn’t work. Other things like you will need to get a card from the reception to collect a pool towel next to the pool if you needed one and you would be responsible to return it else you’ll be charged. We accidentally broke a glass tumbler in the bathroom and got a bill for IDR100,000 for it before we could get a band aid. I found it cheaper to buy them a new tumbler later to compensate. Expect a small fee every time you come to the hotel by any vehicle at the beginning of the lane, very strange but the hotel staff also says that you should pay. Overall a good service apartment, but not a hotel yet.

We were a group of 7 which was two families with adult children. The 3 bedroom penthouse suited us perfectly as it meant we had a communal area but still all the benefits of a “resort”. Our room was at the back of the property and was very quiet with no noise from other rooms or from the street (and we could still see the ocean). We know the area as we normally stay at the Jayakarta and wanted to be nearby as it’s right near the beach and lots of food and coffee options close by). It’s very different from the Jayakarta, not traditional, more modern and definitely 4 star vs 3 star. Having said that, I think the pool area is not as nice and the resort is quiet tired (leather lounges torn and worn, sliding door was off it’s tracks when we arrived, blinds in poor condition). We weren’t advised until we enquired but the rooms are only serviced every two days and on one of those days they ran out of towels and didn’t replace the towels they had taken. We arrived home from a bike ride in Ubud at 9pm to no towels and had to wait for the delivery which was about an hour. It may just be a sign of labour shortages at the moment but it was a little frustrating. The breakfast was good with a range of options including an egg station. The staff were really lovely and it was good value for money compared to similar options available at the time. I would stay here again.

Checking out tomorrow , and i just could not wait to review this. Im beyond shock. Been to hundreds of hotels as it used to be part of my job for years, and this, by far, the most disgusting experience. Dead maggots on the microwave door. Tried to clean them but realised they were actually in between the glass. Inner part of fridge broken and in bad shape. Of course its still usable. Im totally disgusted but had to just 'brace' it on our 6days here due to many reasons. The whole entire 2 bedroom ocean view apartment was filthy, right to the shower area. The floors, (omg) i cannot emphasize much on basic cleanliness when you get maggots hanging inside the microwave door. You get my drift. Im not even exaggerating when i showed my son my feet after 30mins entering the apartment. Stains, dust, sand ...you name it. I did ask them to mop , on day 2 , when housekeeping were right infront of ours. 2 of them took literally 4 mins to mop the kitchenette and living room floor. Thats it. What can i say. You got a nice beach front location with family friendly facilities, but basic hygiene and cleanliness ? Definately will not be recommending this to anyone. I still could not believe that we stayed in Furama!

This has to be the best value for money beachfront hotel in Bali. Rooms are apartment styled and a little dated but spacious and clean. We were on the second floor in a 1 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment with ocean views. The room was enormous.I surf and there was a great little break right out front. The staff here work hard for you and are fantastic. But remember this is Bali and you have to go with the flow. Pool area caters for youngsters and is family friendly. In the foyer the information desk offers the same exchange rate as the best bank rate transportation and bike rentals. Restaurants everywhere as well as convenience stores. Awesome location.

When booking with Agoda the hotel shows included 'Kid Club' and 'Internet'. The internet went out many times each day we were there (4 nights). Also the Kid Club was not included and was a separate place that required us to pay each time we visited. The hotel even went as far as to show the Kid Club in their included facilities photos (half a dozen photos of the place) which led us to believe it was part of the hotel. I would have simply stayed somewhere else and visited the club if this was the case. Furthermore, they did not clean the room every day...normally I wouldn't mind but for a place on the beach that gets dirty it was a huge oversight on their end.

I was staying in 1 bedroom Suite and it was beyond my expectations. Every room has a balcony. Big living room, dining table with complete dining set, big refrigerator and also they put an extra 1L mineral water with additional charge, that’s perfect so I wouldn’t go outside to buy more water. The bed, the room and the toilet all are clean. A little problem to be fix that the main door in room 429, sometimes it’s stuck and find it hard to open. Kiddy pool with slide are my kids favorite, lovely place. Last, Thank you for the complimentary cake upon my arrival. 5 star for this Hotel. Will comeback for sure!
