My best friend who celebrated his birthday in Bali, booked one two-bed rooms villa for us. The place is cozy and we love the ambience so much. Only spent one night stay here and overall was great. I remembered taking a nap on the sun-lounger and it is so relaxing. I and my friends enjoyed listening to the music, having massage in the room and enjoyed swimming in the pool. We also have a very good sleep during the night. All the facilities are well equipped, kitchen set with dining table and I loved the open space around the shower area. We planned to extend the stay for another one more night, apparently the villas were fully booked so we need to moving out, luckily have booked other villa still around in Batu Belig areas. Location is superb, because there is Indomaret available right at the front of Awan Villas and easy access to nearby Warung or Cafe. The staff also friendly. Need to maintain the cleanliness in the kitchen area. Some cupboard or drawer seem never open in ages and smell bit dusty. Hopefully everyone will be always stay safe and healthy. Matur Sukseme Awan Villas..

The entrance to the villas is just along the Batu Belig road, so it is easy to find. There is also a small parking area in front of the lobby so that your transport(bike or car) could drive in to pick you up, instead of you having to wait along the main road under the sun.

The staff are all very friendly and polite. If you do not mind providing your mobile no and use whatsapp, you can communicate with the receptionist via WA instead of calling them thru the landline.

The villa is spacious. Bedroom has a king sized bed(i think), 2 bedside tables, a study table, a vanity table with mirror and a closet for clothes. The bathroom has a bathtub and an open shower area. Going out of the bedroom is the private pool. It is clean, except for the leaves falling into the pool. It is not a big pool but it is already one of the bigger ones in a 1-bedroom villa. You can have 3 complete strokes before reaching the other end. Lastly it is the living room and kitchen area. There is a sofa set and a TV, a kitchen with nearly all kitchenware. A microwave oven and a fridge are available. It has one of the most complete set of kitchenware as compared to other villas which I have stayed in.

The bed was comfortable with good pillows. Wifi was stable and there were sufficient TV channels.

There are many shops along Batu Belig, especially convenience shops. To get around, you can easily get a Grab or Gojek transport.

One of the cons in this villas is the mosquitoes and ants. The villa is clean, but as there are plants all around the villa and it is a tropical country, there are mosquitoes. I am one who "attracts" mosquitoes and I do hate them. The villa will provide 2 mosquito coils per day but i bought my own box as i need 3-4 coils to be lit throughout the whole day. I would recommend the villa to provide cleaner mosquito coil containers though and maybe leaving a whole box of coils in each villa. As for the ants, I guess the best is to put some ant killer baits to at least reduce the no of ants. I was lucky that the ants were only roaming the kitchen and living room areas and not in the bedroom.

Another thing is more of a design issue. The bedroom and the living room cum kitchen are 2 separate structures and one has to walk out of bedroom, walk on a short pathway and to the living/kitchen area. There is a small area(~2m) where there is no shelter and when it rains, one will get wet. Might be good to have continuous shelter.

Overall, I had a very good stay in Awan Villa and would definitely recommend it.

Amazing place with a private pool. The property was a bit old but well maintained. The bathroom was also very spacious. The pool was amazing. Ideal place for couples, family and friends.

The staff was very efficient and friendly. They even arranged a floating breakfast for us on request. We were able to rent a bike at a very low price from them.

The location of the property is also very good. Situated on the main road. Easily accessible.

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The villas are fantastic, the hotel personnel is friendly, helpful and competent. It may seem a bit far from Kuta but since it only costs $2 to $3 to get there by taxi, who cares ! And the hotel will drive you to all the restaurants in the Seminyak area. I would (and hope to) return to Awan villas without any hesitation. I highly recommend this place !

Like every newly – wed couple, even we wanted our honeymoon to be special, memorable and best trip ever.We zero down on our honeymoon destination “BALI”.

We had stayed in “The Awan Villa, Batu Belig, Bali” from March 13, 2015 to March 18, 2015. We had booked private pool villa. The accommodation was superb. The swimming pool is located in between the room, dining area and the sitting area which gives the surreal view of pool while one enjoys the meal or watches TV or listens to music. The hospitality, cleanliness and customer service was excellent. The villas are very hygienically maintained and well furnished. The service is very prompt with immediate attention and the requirements were taken care of positively. Since being vegetarians we had issues with the variety of breakfast served but the manager and the team gave us customized options that could fit in and was taken care that we are not left hungry.

The property is located near the Seminayak beach which is just 5 mins walk away where one can enjoy beautiful sunsets.

While one stays in the property they also provide complimentary drop facility by taxi to the nearby places located in the Seminayak area which is an added bonus.

The management team was very friendly and would always welcome us back after a day trip with a smile and would ask us "how was our day trip" which would give it a homely environment.
They would guide us about where and how to go, what should be taken care etc.

We would definitely recommend this property for stay in Bali. It was stay "At Home away from Home".

We loved our villa and the staff at Awan Villas! the villa was large, we had 2 bedrooms and a large outdoor living area with beautiful and clean private swimming pool. It was very quiet and relaxing. The staff was amazing and would do anything to make you happy. The bathroom could have been cleaned a bit better, because the tub was not cleaned that well, but honestly that is probably my only staff related complaint. The breakfast each morning is served right to your villa. You order it the night before. It was quite good, and they offered several options. We were very happy with it each morning. The location is centreally located in Seminyak, so close to many restaurants, boutiques and beaches, though be warned not right on the beach. It is about 15 minute walk from the closest beach, which is not very nice. Overall we felt the beaches in Bali were quite dirty. That being said, this poeprty was great and we would recommend it to people wanting to stay in this part of Bali, but overall I would recommend going to the mountains, Ubud area of Bali. Believe me the beaches in Bali for the mosr part are pretty disappointing. We took a day tour with the Awan Villas and visited Ubud and many otehr parts of Bali and wished we had stayed there instead. It was a beautiful jungle type area, moer in line with what most people think of Bali being like I think. If we go to Bali again, we would stay in Ubub instead or Lombok, which we have also heard is beautiful. The trip we took was great though, offered by Awan Villas at a very reasonable price and the driver/guide, Oka, was exceptional!! We had an infant with us and he helped us with him all day!! Again, the staff at Awan Villas is really exceptional and they do also offer a free shuttle all over Seminyak pretty much on demand, which was very convenient.

We stayed there for 3 days as part of our honeymoon in Bali in August 2014.The 3 days were really amazing and memorizable.Staff there are very friendly and gives you recommendation for places to eat at or shops to go to , Just ask ! Once you arrive you have your welcome drink and they pick you to your villa. You choose time at which breakfast will be brought up to your villa and also type of breakfast you want. We took the American and it was really so big and so tasty. On our first day for dinner we tried their food, two spaghetti plates and both were so delicious. On other two days we tried nearby restaurants. Once was "PIDUH" sea food there was nice.On other day we tried "Mozaique" it is nice place with great view for sunset however so expensive and small portions.(and not Halal food serving as waiters there say it is but later on we found it is not).
For shopping there for souvenirs : go to "Krisna" it is not so far and also shuttle can drop you there for free BUT Take care they will not bring you back so you will have to go back by taxi or check if they can charge you for picking you up as we didn't know and also the driver wasn't very good at English so we asked if he will wait us and he said yes and seems he didn't understand our question and had to call them to ask where is the driver and by then knowing we shall take taxi and go back.
Villas are so clean and room service comes daily to clean them and the pool and check if the water dispenser need to be changed. Also on our day they made us the bed with towel "the Swan shape" also they made us "Aromatic bath" in the bath tub exactly as the photos. Which was really surprising and amazing
WIFI in villas are great.
Near beach was Seminak which I don't recommend to swim at as sand is balck and very high waves. Other beaches are far away and way better like Nusa Dua.
Tips: 1- many lizards (which by the way is in all Bali and also in Phuket in Thailand as per my freinds expereinces). The good thing that these creatures don't gp into the room. They just appear at night and stay still in there places or move around in the open area for kitchen and livining room so in general as an advise don't leave any food there or any uncovered plates, cups at night.
2- There is only one villa with high "pergoula" on the pool so if you want it contact them early and ask for it as upon our arrival it was already booked by another couple who were staying for 2 weeks.
3- In case you don't like you can ask for another one (we did that as we needed more private one with no high building around).
4- Bring your CDs with your favorite songs as the CD player there is good and don't worry the sound isolation between villas is good too so you don't hera music rom other villas
We stayed in Bali 7 days 3 in Awan in Seminyak area & other 4 in a Double room in another Hotel in Nusa Dua as we wanted to explore Bali more. So I you will do so I recommend to contact the tour Guide " Nyoman Legros +628123993994 " he is very amazing and friendly. Always smiling and will show you things if he passes by it on his way even if it is not in the program. Also come on time.
All over Highly recommended

Husband and I took the honeymoon package end Oct/early Nov and we had a great time at The Awan Villas. What they lacked in food, they more than made up for it in service and effort. I liked the effort they put in to our romantic dinner - tea candle and rose petals, et al. All the staff were friendly and made us feel welcomed. Travelling around from this villa is not really an issue, there's shuttle service to seminyak and they can call a taxi for you if you want to venture further. We will definitely be back because we are missing it already. Four days were just not enough!

Our honeymoon was brilliant & we will definitely go back to The Awan Villas Seminyak. Our villa with private pool was perfect, the staff were fantastic, services offered; e.g., on-demand lifts to anywhere in the Seminyak area was second to none, brekkie in the room, turn down service each evening, candlelit dinner in villa & 2 hour massage were all awesome & the villa was so peaceful & quiet yet only a stone's throw from Seminyak's tourist destinations, beachclubs & restaurants. We loved it!!

Staying at a villa in Bali is so affordable, it's hard to justify why not. I wanted to stay at a nice and quiet place for my birthday, and Awan Villas was the choice! It's walking distance from Naughty Nuri's and Watercress, and if you want to go further, just get one of the friendly villa drivers to send you to your location.

One thing I really loved about the villa is the friendly and helpful staff. I had an enjoyable stay at the villas, and was really touched when they prepared a birthday cake for me! They had wanted to give me a surprise on my birthday, but didn't manage to catch me since we were out for dinner. I also remember the staff who told me to wait in the room while he carried our massive luggage in the rain to the reception.

Unlike some reviews I read, the pool was really clean!

Breakfast was HUGE! They have options for you in different categories, and we selected something from each category for the first breakfast. We learnt our lesson after that and only selected what we can finish for the next breakfast.

Beach access is about 10 minute walk. For shopping it's recommended to use the shuttle or a taxi. There are a few restaurants but most are close to Seminyak village
