Detailed Reviews

We spent 2 nights of our 9 night trip to Bali at Imani Villa and it was easily the best stay of the trip. The place was clean, tidy, very well kept and we had nothing to fault it. Budi and his staffs service was top class as well, always keen to assist with our questions or requests for advice. The villa is just 15 mins drive from Canggu where there's some great places to drink and eat.

Fabulous setting and price, we felt like we'd won the lottery. The attention to detail and service is outstanding.
Arrange airport transfer in advance - the taxi fares are relatively expensive.
Only downside is not much else around.

Very nice as always. This time we had a small villa. Nice private pool. Two very large, spacious rooms with outdoor bathrooms. Kitchen well equipped, we didn't use it. Fridge, Nescafe in the room. Small pool with fish. Very nice, helpful staff.

I am actually at a loss for words. 250+ USD per room and the place is a disaster.
Mold, cobwebs in the rafters, no corkscrew, parts of doors just falling off. Water monitor in the pool hot water hardly to be had and then the water stops.
Staff doesnt speak English, doesnt know soap or detergent .... the list goes on and on and on. The Italian couple in the adjacent villa had to rush their 2 year old to hospital after he fell over backwards while walking on the pool edge when the tiles fell off.
To top it off, the villa management did cosmetic adjustment, ignored any and all phone calls and then responds to the travel agency: As we found that they are difficult clients with very demanding girlfriends (who make them maybe even more difficult).
Having visited Bali some 30 times since 1992 this is BY FAR the worst accommodation I have had. I highly recommend avoiding any villa operated by Bali Villa Wordwide

Happy to provide pictures and email threads by the way

Dear TorstenRode, Thank you for your comment. This is valuable for us. We are now moving forward with the best management team. Imani Bali Villas has been getting much more better in the services and property maintenance with Wayan Budiasa on site as full time Villa Manager and Swaha Indonesia Hospitality as per January 2014. We believe your stay would be much more comfortable with us now. We look forward to welcoming you again. -Swaha Indonesia Hospitality Team-

Bali has a huge selection of villas in a similarly wide range of budgets. Having stayed in at least 10, i clearly know what to expect for a given price range. Most of the time, a premium price translates into a premium experience. In this case, it translated into a huge disappointment.
Planned a trip kind of last minute with some friends and we went for Imani, which was recommended by a local operator. The general state of the villas was of decay. Crumbling ceilings, unkept gardens, dirty sofas, non functioning water, the list of things to improve is quite long. What makes it worse is the reluctance of management to accept the situation other than "give a discount on our next visit" and have an attitude that is borderline insulting and condescending.
Put simply: there is no reason to stay here. Worst value for money in my 3 years going to Bali.

Pleasantly surprised with the experience upon arrival up till the day we left. Tucked away along a quaint street in Seminyak, it didn't take most taxi drivers much trouble to locate the villa. it's only about 10 minutes drive away from Seminyak Square and 30 mins journey from airport. The villa had all that we wanted - private pool, rainforest shower, luxury of space etc. we arrived in Bali only with a rough idea of key places on our wishlist but the villa manager, Budi, heard us out and provided good recommendations to craft our daily itinerary. Traveling around was a breeze, be it with their recommended driver or getting us a taxi whenever we needed a ride out. The team was always attentive to our needs, making the overall service impeccable. We even had the luxury of having breakfast (choice of intercontinental or local) prepared and served at the mini kitchen in villa every morning. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay in the tranquil environment, certainly felt like we owned the place as the only occupants. Super satisfactory stay, highly recommended to everyone out there!

Everything was perfect. We booked for 3 nights but ended up staying all 6 nights. Didn't regret it one bit. I'd like to commend the manager Mr. Budi for his kind hospitality and ensuring that we were very well taken care of during our stay in Bali. Also credits to all the staff for the great food, and tip top service. Since we decided to stay for the whole of 6 nights, we got a feel of all three villas i.e. Ariana, Mahesa and Malika. All villas were well maintained, each had different set ups but still amazing in their own way. What you see from their photos are what you get. Let's just say you won't regret picking Imani Villas, and I'll let you discover on your own what great surprises they can offer you.

Spacious rooms, lots of space around the big pool. Nice décor, good furniture. Very clean, full credit to the staff who diligently clean the villa before you wake up in the morning; and cleans up thoroughly after every meal. The staff is amazing, very attentive to details.....you will find your rooms cleaned, yet your personal preferences and habits preserved! You have got to experience it to understand what I mean. And oh, the chef! He served us such amazingly delicious food that we decided to eat in for few consecutive nights instead of eating out at good restaurants (we come to Bali often so we know the so-called good restaurants). Chef is the best! My daughter is a foodie, and she definitely wants to come back to this villa again. Mr Budi, the villa manager, has done a great job in giving us our best experience in Bali. We will be back for sure, Pak Budi! Thank you!
