Detailed Reviews
We booked 2 suites in the month of June, 2017. The hotel is ideally located within the city. The suites were very spacious and clean with good service round the clock. But lots of improvement needs to be done in the buffet menu. The food quality was average and the spread was very limited. A small and basic swimming pool facility is also there but no bathrooms are provided near the pool. The pool water was full of chlorine and Alum that made swimming very difficult. The free wifi signals were very weak.

Lonavla has an array of accomadation options right from 5-Stars located far away (14kms) from Lonavla to the ones right in the middle of the town.
Having shortlisted a few options from the net, I wanted to carry out a recci personally, as frankly "what you see on the net is NOT exactly what you get".
To cut the story short, we found this place perfect in most ways.
Location: 15 minutes walking distance (3 minutes by car) from Hotel Ramakrishna.
Bang opposte food joint Kailash Parbat and close to Rhythm Lonavla. Close to the centre yet away from the crazy traffic and honkings.
Accomadation: Cottages and Suites: Cottages are super. They have a heritage look, as can be seen in the pics. Yet very very luxurious and spacious. Poster Beds, Kitchenette, and high cielings were the added attractions. The Suites were sprawling too. The suite we stayed in was virtually a 2 BHK house with huge rooms and well equipped furniture and AirConditioned.
Other attractions: Squeeky Clean Swimming Pool, manicured gardens with colourful hammocks to laze in with a book.
Food: They have a restaurant, again well designed and equipped with home theatre kinda music system. We could play / dance to our own music from our cellphones, connected using Bluetooth. Food spread is good, but vegeterian only.
Connectivity: All rooms have free Wifi.
Cost: Was actually the Best Feature: Look up the net and Be Surprised for this kinda sprawling property.
My Recommendation: Go For it.

If you are one of those who loves a private residence amidst lots of greenery and well grown trees in a quiet location where the only noise you hear is birds chirping--- then this would be a good choice for you.
Stayed for two nights with family, rooms are excellent, beds very comfortable, service prompt and courteous, adequate facilities including a good pool, and homely food..
Bathrooms are very clean and plenty of hot and cold water.
The Hotel offers all-suite configuration, which is very convenient when families need to stay together, yet enjoy their privacy. The living room is well-equipped with fridge, TV etc
Highly recommended for non glitzy families. It is also priced right. Could classify as a 3.5 star property.
The only drawback, however, is that the property does not offer grand views of the beautiful hills and valleys nearby, unlike other properties, such as , for example, Hotel Fariyas.

The worst part was that they asked for paper plates that we asked to have food i mean I don’t know any hotel who does that. And they were very rude as well. No proper services and breakfast had just 2 3 items that’s it. Taste was not good.

I had visited them last year during Christmas with my wife and our pet. That time they were good. Went there again on 31st Dec.
They have turned weird now, felt as if you have gone back to hostel with a strict warden, due to the following reasons:
1. Won't provide empty plates in the room
2. I had gone along with my parents and it was quite cold out there in lonavala. We asked for an extra quilt and they said they don't have policy for giving extra quilt
3. Since it was New year Eve, we asked if we can have bonfire. They again rejected citing policy as a reason, which was a lie as I had seen ashes of bonfire at one of the places in the garden.
4. Food a overtly priced. Cup of tea costs 150 bucks, not worth at all.
And this was exactly the experience of other guests staying there
Only reason of going there is that they allow pets, which only handful of hotels allow around Mumbai.
After talking to few people, came to know that the existing manager has left the job and owner is one of the lady who is very strict and hasn't allowed staff to take call on anything. She has set some rules and staff has to obey. She has also told them not to worry if customers don't come, just follow the rules. I am not sure how true are these theories, but one thing is sure that they represent a typical case that a good hotel has turned to a bad hotel after some of the key folks left.

Response from KrisnaAllSuiteStay, Guest Relations Manager at Krisna All Suite Stay
Responded 2 Mar 2018
Dear Sir, We apologise for the inconvenience caused to you. Due to some technical snags at our end we could not respond to you earlier. However we would like to clarify your concerns. 1. About not being providedextra plates- As per policy we donot provide extra plates for consumption of outside food in the rooms. 2. About not being provided an extra quilt - Sir, it was explained to you that an extra quilt was not required because a heater was provided in every room. Also, our staff demonstrated to you the operation of the heater which was sufficient for heating up the room and additionally, offered to provide an extra heater, if required. 3. About not being allowed to light a bonfire- Sir,you were informed that we did not have mobile bonfire equipment hence allowing a bonfire would have been a security hazard. Further,on that particular night we were completely sold out and the parking area was full. The bonfire could have proved fatal to the cars parked in the premises and hence the refusal of the request. The person handling your requests was the Manager on Site. We are perplexed to know where or who told you all that you have stated in the last paragraph. Thanks & Regards, Krisna All Suite Stay,Lonavala

Ridiculously over priced. They do not update information on the booking website so that when you land there you find out that the meals are not included in the tariff. The meals are ordinary and charged way beyond one's imagination. Strictly not advisable.

On our way from back from Goa, we (me, my wife & our daughter) just wanted to take a night halt. So we selected Krisna All Suites Stay. But we ended up staying 2 nights here. All because of the Manager Mr. Deepak Nair, clean & decent apartment styled accommodation ( we stayed in A-5), the property, the staff & service. Deepak Nair convinced us to try pure veg/homely food in the restaurant & we loved it. We extended our stay only because of the hospitality, warmth & services of The Manager. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay at Krisna. I strongly recommend.

An awsome place to stay with best food and services. I am very much impressed.
I would like to give it six stars out of five stars one of the best thing about krsina is that it is pet friendly which i really like, as i am myself a pet owner it becomes very easy for you to keep your pet with you . They provide your pet its own personal bed and food if rerquired. Sevices provided by Mr Deepak Nair (G4S) was extreemly nice. All our guests (about 50 plus) had a memorable stay in this place.

Right on the highway, close to the expressway exists and entries, away from the bustle of the city, nicely painted walls with Krishna and Krishna's name attracted us to this open gate. Yes, they had place for two persons for a night.
What i did not know was that the incompetence at the check-in was merely the begining of a nightmare. He drew the card and i keyed in the code twice, but he wanted yet another draw. I checked my mobile and sure enough, had an sms about one successful transaction. I showed him that and refused to draw my card again. INR 5560 paid, full advance payment.
Filling up a single form of half a page saw three adult staff hovering over me and telling me what to write and where to sign. They did not have anything else to do, i was the only check-in of the day. Another man joins up and i am shown the cottage by him and the receptionist who is trying to convince me to go for a suite i do not want. In the cottage, she shows off the kitchenette and all the appliances like a water kettle and water purifier. The man turns on the ac and the lamps and tells me that there is 'no place like this in Lonavla!'
I move my things in, lock the door and leave for Karla caves. Back after 3 hours, all we want is a warm shower and sleep the night. My second mistake was assuming that hot or even warm running water is available in such a property. 3 hours of trying to make a bunch of loafers pretending to work only had me more exhausted, insensitive persons walking into the bathroom with shoes on to check the temperature of the drip on the hot water tap, muddied floor, groups of twos and threes dishing out one excuse after another and no hot or warm water. The AC went off on its own, the tea-kettle could not boil a cup of water in 60 minutes, the water purifier took more than one hour to provide a glass of drinking water. None of the plug points were working to charge my phone, except one, which i had to find by trial and error method. When i call the reception or the manager, i get connected to the security, several times. The wash basin simply does not have a tap for hot water. After 90 minutes of doing my best to get this incomparably incompetent pretenders to move, some luke warm water came on. Imagine my surprise when the water just stopped after 3 minutes! The hot water tap simply went dry. No one is responsible here for anything except taking in money and shuttling you out. Mr.Rai, who eulogised this place, was unavailable. No one knew what his designation was, where he lived or what his responsiblities were, except that he is staff. No one, including the manager and the receptionist. When chided for letting an unknown man into the cottage with me, she just said 'But i was with you too!.'
Despite my best efforts to reach the management, i was stone-walled until a conscious man, Mr. Saket, came in and told me that this property is outsourced for management by the trust which owns it. He gave me the email to the trustee and the names and phone number of the management firm. He also understood that there was no way out except to bring warm water in buckets. The AC kept going on and off, the elctrician was not available, so we tried to sleep with the fan on in a room without windows. The tea kettle was replaced but i was too tired to make tea. When we eventually dozed off in sheer exhaustion, the tooting horns of the trucks racing against each other on the highway outside the gate ensured that we stayed awake and felt the vibrations of these mad elephants in a frantic frenzy. The roof tiles are removed in four places, hence we could not sleep after sunrise either.
This is no place for women, children, aged or the ill or even the merely tired, purely due to staff attitude. Come in only if you are an alpha male thoroughly used to groups of incompetent pretenders.
At 0915 we receive a phone call informing us that the complementary breakfast is only upto 1030 am, so we should hurry. Breakfast here is made for staff, not guests. Guest are privileged to be able to get anything at all from the four options of breakfast: tea/coffee, bread-butter-jam, uttapam, poha. Served by a person who is very busy with a pc on one table.
While carrying my hand bag and books to my car, the accoutant who had fumbled with the card machine yesterday meets me to ask if i am checking out. He actually left his chair and office to take the trouble of asking me this question!
I could not understand how en entire group could be like this until i met a breezy 'Good morning!' from Mr.Rai. I told him it was not a good morning at all for me and he does not bother to ask why. I asked him who he is, what his deisgnation is and what he is doing on the premises, where he was last night. He is the Property Manager and looking after guests is part of his duty, he says. He was in hospital last night, he lies, for a sinus block, he says. He is as perfectly healthy today as he was yesterday. And he saw that i would not accept him lying that he did not know what had happened last night, so he said, he had sent Mr.Saket. If yes, Mr.Rai's attitude would have been different, atleast an apology, which his staff are good at. Mr.Rai's only interest was to make sure that we left asap and he was left alone in his kingdom.
While locking the door, we found we could not lock the door. A slight push would open the locked door! A helpful cleaning staff member in the adjacent cottage then informed us that the main door is locked only if one door is latched inside! So we had left our belongings in an unlocked room and we get to know how to lock the cottage door while checking-out. Am i surprised?
At the reception, the accountant wanted my card again as he did not have its number. This young man who was watching keenly while i keyed in my code twice was not getting to see my card again. He had received the money, he said, he just wanted to complete the form. That is your work, not mine, i told him firmly.
In order to write a complaint to the trustee, i had to wrest out every single detail from Mr.Rai. I asked him why such a place existed. After much hesitation, he said: Customer satisfaction. Which customers, i asked him. All customers, he said. Clearly and evidently NOT.
This place exists for Mr.Rai to pretend power and others, competence. This place looks beautiful, is clean and therefore, looks inviting with hammocks amidst flowers. Don't be taken in by the invite, the cleaning staff and the gardners are the only ones who work. The sweeper gets INR 4000 in hand for working from 8am to 5pm. All the others get paid to loaf and make life miserable for any guest who make the grave mistake of coming in through the gate. No wifi. No car wash. No parking area. No help for parking or reversing. Staff fill up the restaurant, all busy with laptops. Damp walls with paint peeling off in rooms. Plumbing and elctrical appliances do not work, cannot be made to work either, no matter what is done. Staff neither interested in solving problems created by them, nor willing to make the effort to understand that for INR5500+ atleast a shower and restful sleep should be possible for two persons, without fuss. We were constantly viewed as being extraordinarily demanding and troublesome. They are all having such a lovely time, if it wasn't for guests who come in, pay full in advance and do not leave immediately.
'No place like this in Lonavala!' Correct.

What a charming heritage hotel! 6 of us friends stayed there for 3 days and totally fell in love with this ancestral property that has been converted into a hotel. It has ensuite cottages and 1/2 bedroom apartments with sitting rooms. The staff is courteous helpful and friendly esp the manager Deepak. They serve delicious veg food.. Indian Chinese and Italian.... . There is a swimming pool, carrom, table tennis, and pool table. Very conveniently located 10 mins walk to the market. We absolutely loved our stay there last week and would love to go there again.
